But apparently Tim is at the hospital while the rest of the family is on the grift trip? Is Phillip on the trip? I thought he left the family travels to "work" to save for college.
JillR is a lying liar so who knows what Timbits or Philly are doing. But hey, even the receptionist at the hospital recognized how special Pa Noyes is coming to see his wife every day.

Egads could Carlin act more like a toddler??? It is hard to continue to feel sorry for her since it appears she can’t or won’t follow doctors instructions. Or even common sense. Based on how C&E acted when Layla was having health issues I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at how dumb they are.

Well if you watched the Guiding Light back in the day, I believe there were some Bauer men named Frederick, nicknamed Rick/Ricky and Fred/Freddy, lol.

I think all of them who have been pregnant have some sort of health issues. And Michael has fertility problems. We don’t know about Katie or the girls still at home.

What is it going to take for these two numbskulls to do what they need to do? Carlin clearly needs to slow down and let her body adjust! She said she is (was ?) on Keppra for the seizures. My husband takes that as he had a seizure a year ago. It takes a LONG time to get used to the side effects. We really have to carefully plan our day around when he’s more tired etc. This seems to be beyond C & E. Very sad but they definitely suffer from FOMO.

It is quite a change from the days when they had to always sit so close together, holding hands and she would lovingly gaze at him. Now they are barely ever in the same room!

I think we will see a lot of the Featheringtons as they will be causing problems for Pen. I haven’t read the books but the mother and sisters were very dismissive of Pen in season 2, so I imagine that won’t change, unfortunately.

Does anyone know if Gil & Kelly still do the Fundy conferences and such? There used to be a time when they were headliners, along with JB & Michelle Duggar, at every Fundy event.
Seems like at the last big Fundie conference Gil was a speaker along with Brandon. KJ was in NJ or Florida visiting, I don’t remember exactly where, but we did snark on why she wasn’t glued to Gil’s side at the conference.
I would imagine the older girls are a bit resentful of the way G&K are now compared to their childhood.

No I don’t believe they exactly said she didn’t pass out, but since no one called an ambulance and she was “out” for 20 minutes, the story doesn’t really hold together. Maybe they called Evan and he said not to call ambulance? But if someone I knew fell, hit their head on rocks and then was out for 20 minutes, I would call 911. But they are either lying or exaggerating or just stupid. Or all three.

It’s getting more and more obvious that while there is something wrong with Carlin, she 1) enjoys the attention 2) doesn’t exactly follow doctors instructions, either through stupidity or not liking the side effects 3) is making $$ from the clicks/views on SM

Carlin said she didn’t want to go to the hospital because they don’t do anything. But if she was passed out how would Whit/Alyssa/KJ know she didn’t want to go? If Carlin was my sister, I think I would call an ambulance. But maybe they all know more than what they’ve revealing on SM. There is definitely something fishy about the whole situation.

So Fun Fact from BME - in honor of Sofia’s birthday, let’s bring up how she was pregnant with Sofia when poor Amy was in the hospital. Apparently the stress on JillR caused her to worry about the effects on the baby. Yes, JillR considers that a fun fact. Poor Sofia.

Well there’s always Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark. He’s extremely easy on the eyes, especially with his scruff. It’s a good name, he’s a cute baby, I hope Jill has an easy time adjusting this summer. Any indication that any Duggars have visited or acknowledged baby Fred?

Well if they are in Florida that is the norm. Ozziedad and I are often the only ones wearing a mask in the 2 or 3 stores we frequent. Anna must be on a summer road trip to distract the M kids from asking about FF.

So Gil & KJ’s parenting skills really shine in Carlin. She’s clueless, dumb and exaggerates for SM. She and Evan are attention seekers in the worst way. In real life they may be sweet, kind and caring but what we’ve seen on SM lately doesn’t show them in a very good light.

I didn’t know of the Cures Act either but have experience with it; last year Ozziedad had a seizure that lead to a trip to the ER. He had a benign tumor which was removed but is on Kepra, a common anti seizure medication. He’s had multiple scans and tests in the last 12 months and we’ve been able to see all the results fairly quickly. The follow up doctor appointments are usually where the doctor answers questions and discuss how medications are doing etc. I’m guessing Carlin and Evan were just too overwhelmed by the situation and were not absorbing what the doctor told them. And are too busy on SM to check out her medical records online. Our experience has been that they are very reluctant to take anyone who has had a seizure off the anti-seizure meds for at least a year. I think Carlin has expressed before about her anxiety around doctor visits so who knows what she thought about her medications.

So apparently a bunch of Duggars visited the Bates clan to help declutter, lol. KJ posted about everyone who helped them with a few projects. I guess the Big House needed quite a few things done. KJ posted pictures of various Bates boys and SIL’s working. My favorite picture was Gil sitting in a chair filthy dirty, covered in paint or concrete or something. Hopefully it wasn’t the new furniture Alyssa just gifted them.
