  1. That may have been her point as you have interpreted it, but when asked directly by Meghan if she thought the two situations were different or if one was worse than the other, she only said that they were different. That strongly implies that she feels that they were equally bad. And that’s fine, if that’s how she feels. But own it and defend it. So it’s not surprising at all that she had to defend herself on Twitter. The same thing happened a few months ago when Sunny said that someone should take Trump out back and kick his butt.
  2. This is so true. It’s like when Sunny says that Trump’s administration is anti-immigrant just because they want a secure border and to have people who want to live in America go through a legal process do do so. The Republicans have never said that they don’t want immigrants, they just want people to follow the rules. If people are seeking asylum, there are legal ways of doing so. There is no need to sneak in. Or when people say that Trump called ALL Mexicans rapists. He never made that claim, yet Whoopi and others quote it on a regular basis. Or when Trump says that there is a war on Christmas if someone says Happy Holidays. Or when people claim that the Republicans have a war on women because they don’t believe in abortion. It’s all extremes and all ridiculous in my opinion.
  3. They were talking about human rights violations.
  4. To be fair, when asked by Meghan if the situations were any different or worse, Sunny responded that they were different, but wouldn't say it was worse. So even if Sunny didn't explicitly say that what's happening at the border with immigration was basically just as bad as murdering a person for being gay, she certainly implied it.
  5. I think it's because she feels that nobody ever agrees with her or says things like "You're right" or "I agree" to her. It may be petty, but it is understandable.
  6. I feel that Sara is just being objective. To me it’s quite refreshing. There are always two sides to every issue and you should be able to see both sides. Not seeing them and not actively trying to listen to the other side is often the major problem. Sara often does tell us her view when it aligns with the views of Sunny, Joy and Whoopi, but sees both sides when her personal view is not in alignment with theirs. Sara likely feels pressure to not agree with the conservative side for fear of being attacked the way Meghan is almost everyday. So she just says that she is trying seeing both sides.
  7. Professor Dyson just made up his own definitions of those words to suit his cause. Racism is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. So in reality, anyone can be racist, including Black people. Bigotry is intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself. This definition also proves that anyone can be a bigot. Unless people actually come to realize the truth of this, the problem or racism and bigotry will continue. People should be focusing on many similarities of one's cultures and beliefs and celebrate our differences.
  8. He did start a sentence by saying, "If Republicans weren't so racist ....'. He probably didn't mean to say it like that, but that is certainly what he said. So it wasn't crazy for Meghan to clarify that she isn't a racist.
  9. This is very true. Unfortunately, I think that most people do not view or read multiple media sources. They often tend to stick to "their side" so as to validate their opinions and beliefs.
  10. I totally agree. It's just like when people like Joy and Sunny say that Trump always gets a pass. Since when is constantly getting criticized and bad-mouthed by almost everyone in the media considered to be getting a pass?
  11. Calling the daughter of the president of the United States a c word is egregious. I’m sure Joy, Sunny and Whoopi would be flipping out if a comedian called one of the Obama daughters a c word.
  12. There is no excuse for using those horrible words, but there is a difference between using them in private and using them in front of an audience of millions.
  13. No they didn’t. There’s always tomorrow, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
  14. The shouting and talking over each other was happening long before Meghan was ever on the show. I agree that she can be bad, but all of them, except for Sarah can be quite rude at times.
  15. The View has officially been part of the non-fiction branch of programming within ABC News since 2014. That technically makes them a news show that should at least make an attempt to display some objectivity and allow true diversity of opinion without all the shouting and talking over each other.
