Two points. One. Christine did an interview a few months ago in which she admitted to "leaving the faith" back in Vegas. Why? "Because its bad for women." The second point. Gwen, before she started filtering her comments, indicated that she and her mom both believed that the AUB was cult- like and that in some ways she thought Kody was a victim as well. This was not just a Kody issue. The part that is confusing everyone - is that Christine on the show - makes it a Kody issue and does not denounce the faith and that is likely to keep the show on the air. People forget, that Christine's mother suffered emotional torture when her husband took a second wife. Christine was not initially impacted but it seems that becoming close to her mom again - may have opened her eyes a bit. The "fairy tale" of equality in polygamy does not actually exist. Christine knows that. But they sold it on the show for a decade. Sadly, the way Kody punished his wives for their "behavior" and put them in situations to "grow them" is all part of the patriarchal polygamist BS.

Considering they own the new house in Lehi I'd say she lives there already - or is at least there all the time. The reflection out back has the same view as theLehi new home. And several of her recent social media posts have been with a background that's inconsistent with her rental. I think she already moved - or mostly moved.

Janelle got screwed all around. No money and no home base. I see her staying in Flagstaff... unless maybe they're moving Sister Wives filming primarily to UT.
Yeah, I don't see why Janelle would leave. She loved Flagstaff and "Utah has nothing for (her)."

I admit I was on Patreon for a while (no longer am) but I can absolutely affirm that Gwen has been reading the comments on both Patreon and reddit (she admitted she reads there sometimes) and altering her perception of events. On patreon she even says "oh good point" - when people lay out their evidence for a particular interpretation. She also asks for questions - prior to recording her reaction and many of those questions are long, detailed, extensive questions designed to lead the witness to a specific reaction.
Now, is she easily swayed by the more than 100 comments on each post (on patreon and many more on YouTube) or does she engage "correctly" because she is savvy enough to know what sells -- I don't know. I know Paedon panders to the public as does Christine as well. So yes, I am sure Gwen has recognized what positions will keep her relevant. But I do think she's also influenced by the court of public opinion. So she sees things through "our lens" and not her own now.
As to vitriol... I don't think she's spewing. She is careful and thoughtful and I genuinely like her most out of Christine's kids. But in a political analogy - let's say she was when she started a moderate. And now she absolutely leans - all in.

I think she just wants free stuff. And she wants publicity. And she wants social media engagement. And she wants a dramatic extravaganza. Maybe she wants her own show. The Christine and David plus Tony and Mykelti Show.
Years ago they did a Q and A session and the question was "which brown enjoys being famous the most" or something like that. I thought they'd all point to Kody. They all pointed to Christine - immediately. She is loving it. Sprarkle pony indeed.
Whatever. Let her shine I guess but I feel the need for some sunglasses. I've just never enjoyed her dramatic nature. Maybe I'm jealous of it. Eh, Idk.

It does. But the reverse is also true. She was alone at home with eight small children in a rigid mormon patriarchal culture. Just because she had mental illness/addiction does not mean that her perspective or accusations were untrue. We simply don't know. We don't even know what type of mental illness/addiction issues she had, when they started, or what were the triggers.

Apparently these two already bought a house in Lehi. 4200 square feet but some people are saying unfinished basement and loft so not finished 4200. 4 bedroom.
Maybe that's why she "needs" freebies. Sigh.

Reality tv is never reality. But I get annoyed when those in the business claim they aren't lying in the name of privacy. In January, Christine announced she was dating and asked for "online dating tips." She did so, despite being in a relationship with her "soul mate." To me, that's a lie. The better way to protect her privacy is to just not address this at all. But of course we know they can't do that - gotta engage the fans...keep the gossip going... This show, and these people have been doing this for a decade.

My guess is that they got engaged during or around the big Avalon birthday celebration - or somewhere in there. Assuming that was all filmed. And assuming the engagement was too. So it was when Janelle was also in town for filming. Christine and Janelle are both wearing the same shirts for their plexus photo - and also the birthday party. And Christine is wearing that same shirt in her engagement photo.
They are just doing the announcement this week.

I think it would be weird if Meri congratulated Christine tbh. They aren't friends. Christine "ended the friendship" a long time ago and then hashed up all the old stories for the finale just this season. "Meri gave me an ulcer, so much stress, she wasn't nice to me in front of her family, the kitchen from 30 years ago..." I don't blame Meri for staying silent on this one.

I say again that I think David was in the picture a long time ago. Kody and Robyn were both obsessed with the idea that Christine left "so she could date." Kody was worried about a man stealing money. Even Janelle was saying Christine wants to find her soulmate.
It was strange that this was a central theme - because Christine said she left because -- well it changed a few times - first it was because of the intimacy thing and then because of the kids.
I think David was in Utah and talking to her throughout covid. Maybe they weren't a couple yet but he was likely her "soul mate" way back then.
I didn't read the article. When's the wedding?

If mid to late Feb Mykelti said that Janelle had not met them yet. Janelle was planning to meet them at Gwen's engagement party but then Maddie needed her for her birth. The twins were born mid-November. So it had been three months at least when Mykelti mentioned it.
Since that time, there has been no pictures or media posts to indicate that Janelle was interacting with that part of the family in Utah. I guess it's possible that it wasn't on social media but given how Mykelti and Janelle post, I can only assume that she didn't meet them in March either.

I mean Robyn slept in their closet for a week when they were born and the twins went to Gwen's engagement party. So I don't think limiting visitors is the answer. I agree that Janelle likely did not have a bunch of free time. It still seems odd to me that it wouldn't be a priority especially as grandma and Christine's supposed "bestie." They were born in November. It's April.

Agree. The season upcoming will be Janelle's separation. Christine in Utah, Mykelti and Tony (with Robyn in the closet?). Maybe Meri's divorce though that could be on the following season. Kody transitioning to blissful monogamy.
Then the hook for next season will be David/Christine wedding. More Mykelti because she's trying so hard. Meri and Janelle moving on.
But... the season after that? who knows.
On reddit someone said that Robyn and Kody were filming a family vacation and Kody was feeding Robyn fudge.
