I agree diversity does not seem to be a huge priority vs. lets have four or five black girls and a couple who we can't quite tell if they're Latina, biracial or Asian, etc. (Lacey, Nicole B, Simone, Morgan, Veronica). But seriously my opinion is they have more white girls struggle because there are more white girls who actually make it into camp.

Supposed to maintain your rookie look esp if you're a glam girl or fan fave. I would love to see more diversity esp more Latinas! but no matter if Dallas has a diverse population, if ladies of color don't get the technical training, have the build or audition, can't put them on the team. Not nearly as many Lacey and Khalyns as there are basic white girls at auditions.

Judy knows now when the cameras are rolling and when to be a hard ass and when to polite you to death. Her being a hardass is why the DCC are 1000x better than other pro teams. Kelli is not as snooty as she used to be now that she's fat, but Judy is still harder on the girls. Somebody as to be serious about their dance bc Kelli is as much about looks and branding. Judy just wants trained, skinny dancers. Seriously. She's walking away and carrying a ton of stuff. Who cares about turnout? Papa Kalina has $$$$ tied in with the Cowboys. Charlotte would not give an eff about Tina being an old DCC if they didn't have money tied up in the org now. 100%. 100% All those LSU girls are such divas they're reluctant to bring in more. Milan left bc she was mad about USO and fed up with drama and favoritism. Study abroad was the polite cover story.

JennK and Erica are about the same height but it does look better IMO with a taller girl in that spot AKA Meagan C, Lauren Williams, Tia, Nicole B, etc. My heart thawed a degree or two for Cassie when she and Judy were Regina George in the halo vest and her mom in the track suit for Halloween. They know people called her a Mean Girl so just embrace it. Keeping with current squad, Lacey is seriously not that tall. Average but just so slim she LOOKS taller esp next to Jenna who is very petite. I wouldn't call her short like say Keyra, bc Jenna is small all over. Splitting hairs I know, but the team over all was just really not that tall this year.

That spot right behind point in Thunderstruck is SUPER VISIBLE and smack in the center of the second row btwn the point and girl next to her when they go into lines. That was Erica's spot last year. Usually good spot for a taller girl, but Erica had then Robyn in past couple years. They're about average.

Lacey works hard at dance/fitness and I never heard she hates Kashara, etc. Just more like she had a minute regretting that she hadn't pushed herself more toward point, bc you never know what's going to happen. No I don't think she seemed overwhelmed at all. Her head was not in game bc she had a miscommunication with her boyfriend. She lives thousands of miles from her family and her dad just beat cancer, so I get wanting to go home really badly. She's not at wall flower who avoids attention. Watch Mean Girls. Trust Tina Fey. Your life will be changed. CB don't have a pool of 36 QBs, but DCC doesn't have a pool of 36 point girls, either. Y'all know I mean you don't just change rehearsed formations or plays bc every Snowflake needs a turn in the spotlight.

I dunno. Of course more than one girl could be point. You don't see the Cowboys just randomly rotating QBs so everyone gets a fair and equal turn.

So in my mind I am now seeing Lacey give Kashara these Swedish nutrition bars that help you burn carbs.

THANK YOU. Jenna was never officially point during the regular season. They definitely will push girls back in the formation though. They like the same point for multiple years bc 1) you get a great girl you can trust, UTILIZE THE TALENT, 2) continuity with media AKA they don't have to change out stuff, photogs know which girl to look for when not in formation, etc. They haven't had the same girl go more than 2 seasons since they started Thunderstruck at least. Don't know about before that.

From what I heard last summer, Lacey was mini pouting for a minute bc she realized she could've upped her game and been point. Don't know now if she's over it (pouting or DCC in general) now or not. Don't be surprised if she does stay.

Has Jinelle said anything about retiring?

OK watched the podcast w/Kashara and JennK. I do like the hour format. I don't think Kashara looks that pink. Spray tanned, but on my screen not Tasha pink shirt or pink skin. She does say she was sunburned from Florida so maybe she just doesn't look pink on my screen. I hate JennK's ugly jacket. Wait, just STFU JennK. She flapped her jaws way too much and I felt like she corrected Kashara way too much. Tired of them making fun on Kashara's accent. I have family members with a heavy accent (not same as Kashara's) and it's annoying when that's all people focus on instead of their personality or intelligence. Also I think Kashara knows what an antelope is. She's probably got one hanging on her wall in KY (yes, she has had pics of her dad hunting before). Don't act like she's stupid for not knowing the name of those long horn African cows at Animal Kingdom. We go every summer when visiting grandparents and I don't know the names of all the animals - I'm more of a Magic Kingdom fan LOL. JennK saying they're 'real women' STFU x2 JennK. 1) KASHARA is a pageant girl. Down to earth, but title holder and a frickin' PAGEANT CONSULTANT. Half the squad at least has had a title at some point. 2) DCC are not realistic representations of the average woman. The whole point is they have perfect face, hair, fitness, style, etc. Most of them come from really comfy backgrounds which allows grown ass women to have part time cheerleading jobs instead of having to work. JennK is beyond irritating. STFU until it's time to plug the Jr. DCC. Usually Courtney the host irritates me but when she called JennK a Stage 5 clinger who wouldn't leave, I wanted to hug her. Did she say next week is DCC CHANEL or did I hear wrogn (assume she meant Chantel with Lauren). Oh one more. JACKIE BOB. Can we just give her a crown and let her rule the world? I wish theyd do that formation again where they have two girls at point. They did a little bit with Crystal/Whitney and then for a minute pre-season with Holly A/Jacie. One other I don't remember off hand with show group.

That girl has major control and can definitely move but I hate that style of dance, whatever it is. Now I will go scoot my walker to the sink and clean my dentures before I go to bed at 6 p.m.

Needs to get those kicks up and some energy before DCC.
