Someone mentioned earlier that his backpack was full of money when he was at their house.

What's SOS?
Save Our Selves. It's a sobriety group that doesn't require belief in a higher power in order to stay sober. AA can be difficult to relate to if you are Atheist or Agnostic.

Because they like things the way they are (they just don't want to admit it). Maci likes having full custody and almost total control over Bentley's life, and Ryan has no interest in being a father - certainly not one with calendar demands and regular responsibilities. Plus, the court would almost certainly mandate drug testing, something Ryan (and his parents) undoubtedly fear.
Right. Tagging on to this - maybe I've seen too many episodes of Intervention, but isn't accepting responsibility/accountability for your actions as a drug addict and making amends to people you've hurt - an important - and first - step an addict is supposed to take in recovery? Ryan seems to have missed this class in rehab, and is still acting like he's a victim to Maci's evil ways.
Not all rehabs and recovering addicts follow a 12 step program. There are many AA alternatives that are just as helpful. I personally follow SOS and I have found that very helpful in my recovery.

Catelynn may not be the best mother but she wasn't driving with her eyes barely open slurring her words . And she lives with her daughter and may not parent perfectly or even close but sure as hell has been more of a parent than Ryan has ever been in all of Bentleys life . No one is saying Ryan shouldn't see his son , we are saying that the way he is going about it is wrong . He should take responsibility for what he's done and ask nicely to see Bentley supervised for a little while or take Maci to court . But he never takes her to court because he simply doesn't care enough . Don't do what you did and then make demands . Either way , none of us know what goes on in these people's daily lives . And FYI, I don't think Amber should be able to see her kid either . She's an abusive piece of trash who never takes responsibility for her own actions and actually gets more immature with age .
And by the way , I 100 % believe that addiction is a disease , but taking the drug for the first time is a choice and Ryan made that choice
He doesn't need to ask that trick nicely. She isn't his mother and Bentley is his son too. He needs to get his ass in court. They will drug test him if it's a concern. You aren't breaking any laws by going to rehab and often it's looked upon favorably if both parents have addiction issues. Let's not kid ourselves, there is a problem with alcohol if you can't make it through a pregnancy without it.

I agree. Relapse is common in recovery. But you gotta start somewhere.
Amen. He may not have gone for the right reasons but he was drug free for 3 weeks. That feeling is like none other. Maybe he'll realize that.

Did anyone notice the gates on Ryan's rehab? I thought locked facilities could only be used if the patient is sentenced to rehab, not voluntary patients.

Maybe she's a paid spokesperson?

I completely validate her concerns. She just needs to stop with the judgemental attitude considering she's showing some signs of serious alcohol abuse herself.

The one we are missing that is the most important of all is a "Being Addie Girl" special. Hell I'd watch her show like she was a better honey boo boo.
Want to start a write in campaign?

I'd love to see how long St Maci would last in rehab without her supply of Bud Light.
Maci, you're young and life hasn't begun to fuck with you yet.' I think I would slow down on the judgement if I were you.

This bitch. "Well what should we do next?". WE don't do anything. Bentley is none of your damn business. You are the stepmother, you have no place in the custody fight. Mac needs to support your druggie husband in his newfound ( and fleeting) interest in his son and respect your role as the broad who married Bentley's unclebrother.
^^^THIS^^^ I find it hilarious that an idiot with no life skills except becoming a teen mom is inserting herself into something that is none of her business.

I miss Jay too. I loved him as Carla's husband on Cheers. He had a lot of great roles in his career.

Who was that guy who interviewed Michael Jackson forever ago and then they went shopping in Las Vegas (I think that's where they were)? That scene in Debra's bedroom (who has a conversation at the foot of their bed with a random Mtv producer/there was NOWHERE else to film??) reminded me of some crazy shit like that. Or, on a lesser note, a Dateline or 20/20 episode.
Sorry I had to copy and paste. It's not letting me quote today...The guy was a journalist named Martin Bashir. They went shopping for all of that ugly shit in Las Vegas. It looks like Debra bought all her crap at Michael's yard sale.

21 days in rehab does NOT constitute achievement. It means Student Of The Month has crappy insurance benefits. I hope Mackenzie gets her "proud mom" bumper sticker to show off to the other 45 year old soccer moms.
Catelynn's weight is bordering on Gary territory . She really has no business getting pregnant at the size she currently is.

It appears Mackenzie says they only want one more but will leave it up to God as to when it arrives. So basically saying "I'm not on birth control and I may already be pregnant.

Very few people on that show are particularly likable and Kail still stands out as a massive bitch. That’s talent.
LMAO! I have to agree that Karl is definitely the biggest bitch on the show. I don't think she's trying to be, she just is.

I'm worried too! I just don't want to go from "You know, three babies with three parents is probably not great for anyone" to all of a sudden "Women who have children outside of marriage are whores, boys will be boys, but gay marriage is an affront to my family!" This fear only bolsters my case to move to CA.
I don't think posters are judging that as much as the continual poor choices some of these Mom's are making. But yes, I absolutely consider Briana a whore.

Yes, I watched all the seasons up until the first Vegas season started. The show jumped the shark at that point for me.
Good for Cameran! What a funny girl.
Man, I sure do miss the original RW. Imagine if there had been a snark board back then?
We could spend months on Season 2 (LA) alone!

So, she's getting a Being Mackenzie special. Big deal. Most of the ancillary characters have had one, Mac, and it didn't lead to an entire spinoff series. I can't imagine people are lining up to watch footage of Ryan sleeping while Mac valley girl talks to the camera.
That didn't take long. As soon as the show is over and the money dries up she'll be gone.

If I were in a club and some guy said what Butch did to that stripper I think I would vomit. Although I'm sure the stripper has heard it a million times.
Way to show your desperation there Butchie.

Have I become like a proto-conservative because I don't think having three babies by three different men (or with three different women) before you're 25 is totally acceptable and really, should be celebrated?
Okay...where's Juice and what did you do with him? We'll pay any amount of ransom!

S07.E02: THIS IS GONNA END BADLY
in Teen Mom
Not specifically but it's certainly encouraged as part of the sobriety/recovery process. Members find that once they are sober they find themselves wanting to address past wrongs in a healthy way. Meetings consist of speaking more about your sober life rather than your past addictive behavior. I really feel I have a sobriety home there and it's definitely helped me change my life. They have many same sex meetings that I often prefer to attend.
