I was trying to find something about Caroline, as she was pretty invisible so far in the show. Found the attached.

I think that if it was someone else, Marshall would not have given Brenda the stink eye. When I was 18, I had so many goals and dreams that it took me a long time to sort them out. I feel sorry that she has only one dream and that is not even a real job. I blame her Mom for this single minded approach to her future.

I have a Firestick and a program called Terrarium TV. They have seasons 3-13. Some of the older seasons are incomplete. This is free, and they are available on Friday mornings. You can also purchase the seasons from Amazon.

Morgan was late for her panel interview arrival time, and did not make it back to her second season. Kellie makes it clear every year that punctuality is key, so it should not be a surprise. DFW traffic sucks, so you just leave in plenty of time and take a book.

In the first episode, when they are in the car, Tina is screaming and VK has her face buried in her hands. That spoke volumes to me.

I have been on the fence about VK, but I thought her solo was beautiful. She clearly has the lyrical down. I think she has control issues with Pom, which can be fixed in TC. As far as her attitude, she is an excited 18 year old who is living her dream. I am sure I was a PITA when I was 18, and thought I knew it all, so I am giving her the benefit of the doubt and will see how TC plays out. Her mother, on the other hand . . .

She is currently the Director of the Junior DCC program at Next Step Dance, so she continues to be involved in DCC.

I think Brenda has been a judge for most of the time the show has been on TV. She was a local DFW TV personality but now is on KTBS in Shreveport. Here is a link to a piece she did on the DCC. I watched the videos of other DFW professsional cheer tryouts and all the ladies look to be about the same build as DCC. Not saying it is right, as I am someone who has struggled with weight most of my life, but they do sign a contract and know that they can be cut for not maintaining their weight. I also think that those really amazing dancers get cut some slack on this.

That is how I felt about New Jersey Brianna last year. I could not understand why everyone raved about her solo. You would think they would show the best parts of the solos.

You are dead on. Last year’s rookie class was not strong overall. Some great dancers, but not the quantity compared to this year. Last year, when JennK was teaching the vets, she commented on how impressed she was. This year (in the preview), she pretty much tells them that the rookies are stronger.

I often think that they make cuts to show the worst of some of these ladies. If someone like Breelan was consistently bad as we saw, I doubt she would have made the team. From 8 weeks of TC, we probably saw 10 minutes of any of these ladies messing up. For all we know, that could have been the only times they screwed up.

Hannah was Chicago Bulls, Bridgett is the Chargers.

I loved Malena, but I remember thinking at semis that her kicks were low. I will have to go back and watch again.

Carla was also the one who thought Michele Obama was the president. I was surprised they took her into TC. Maybe just for the annual dirty picture cut.

IMHO, the ladies who are the phenomenal dancers seem to get cut some slack on weight. Though I think Maddie looks pretty good here.

I watched some videos on Hannah’s Instagram. IMHO she is an amazing dancer and is of a caliber that makes her one of the strongest rookies.

Who is the girl in the lower right corner? She looks like the one who did not know what FBI stands for (in the previews)

Agree pretty much the norm in the south. I taught in cosmetology school in Dallas and that is the way we were addressed by the students.

Maybe since so many of last year’s SG were gone, they took her to round out the squad?

Lexie was in Oxnard, which is why I thought she had made SG
