Wait. I thought Megan retired because she got a job as a choreographer for her alma mater Arizona. Melissa I remember was studying engineering and was due to graduate last year. I thought she retired because of work opportunities in her field of study.

I remember Ashley. The difference between her and Gina was Kelli was going to Ashley's former places where she danced and they were saying bad stuff about her. Her group leaders defended her and said she was a great teammate and people liked her. Kelli told her she can relax and be herself. Gina is the reverse. All the negative stuff was coming from within. Kitty saw it. Melissa saw it. The group leaders saw it. I liked how Kelli tried to make Gina see it by calling her out on not being as close to her teammates as she claims. Love Kashara. Some people on this forum were down on her being point. (not gonna lie I wanted Jenna or Lacey at point in the beginning) but watching the real time videos of Thunder slowly made me realize why she is there. She is a sharp and fun dancer. The scenes where she just lets loose and be herself just shows what a great person teammate and leader she is on this squad.

I remember the makeover episode and when they got to her they were deliberating on whether to go lighter or darker with her hair. I thought at the time the lighter hair was good but looking at the following episodes the hair doesn't look as good. As far as the lash 911... There is always on TCC that looks at her self a couple of nights before cameos and goes and does something that might "make it look better" when she should not make a major change..

I agree with you. I think the problem that Kelli and Judy have is that they are comparing what they see with Alexandria with how she looked in her head shot on her application and how she looked at auditions. She was not as glammed up. I think they focus on the look so bad is that they really like her and want her on the team so they want to get the DCC Look for her right because publicity is a major part of the job. Lash 911! LOL!

I get my episodes on Amazon and they don't do extra scenes. The CMT site will show extra scenes from the show but not performances. I usually go to youtube or the DCC twitter site. DCC twitter page may show one of the groups doing a full sideline routine. Youtube will sometimes have fans post plaza performances and the Thunder routine for the home games that they see. ( I have not seen alot from this new season but there are lots of posts from past seasons squads) Alot of posters on this sight download videos and pictures that they find on the different forums on this page as well. Hope this helps.

I think show group has scheduled appearances during training camp. I don't think a TCC is a lock for show group but they have to be amazing for K and J to put you on and the team is not finalized yet. They might just have TCC who make show group as alternates if one of the vets for some reason can't make an appearance.

Thank you for posting this. While watching the shows this season, I was wondering how Lauren was going to find the time to work and do DCC. Your post clears up alot of questions I had.

I was told by someone in an earlier post that all the dancers have to audition for show group. You can tell Kelli and Judy not to consider them overall. If that is the case, that could explain why so many amazing dancers in my opinion are not on show group. Show group is extra rehearsal time on top of regular rehearsals on top of group leader's rehearsals. It is extra appearances as well as travel outside the country. To be on show group is an honor because when the world sees DCC , they are looking at show group. If someone does not have the time to do it I do not fault them. Keyra and Khaylyn may be in school or have jobs where the workload does not allow them to put show group in there busy schedule. Last year Cersten was applying to med school. She did not do show group and she is one of the best dancers I have seen audition and make this team in years. This year she was explaining in a earlier episode that she had exams coming up and all she had to do was wait to go to med school next summer. Now she has the time and she is on show group now. Listen, I love seeing women who look like me make this team and represent but if you have to choose between your job or your education and show group? I say girl just be the best dcc you can be and get your degree or get your promotion. (Show group don't pay the bills)

I agree with you that maybe not the best dancers in the group make show group. I will have to watch tonight's episode to really see. Someone in an earlier post did tell me that the girls have to audition but have the option to not be considered for show group. This could be a reason you don't see a person who is really talented on Show Group. They have prior commitments that prevent them from doing show group. Remember show group is extra rehearsal time on top of regular rehearsal and group leader's rehearsal. These people have lives that may not fit in with the schedule of doing that. Carissa in a past season had a meeting with Kelli and said she had to take on extra work to help her family back home and she explained that to do show group would be too much for her. Cersten is the same amazing dancer this year as she was last year. But you saw the clip in the earlier episode, she was about to take her med school exams. That could have been her reason for not being on show group last year. She was still going through the process of applying to med school. This year she just had to take her exams and wait to see when she starts school next year. She now has the time to commit to doing show group. Personally I think it is a waste of time and risk of injury to make the ladies audition for something they do not have the time to commit for . Let them sit out and cheer on the ones who want this opportunity.

Can someone answer this for me? I have been watching this show for years. I download it with amazon. Why is CMT not releasing the first 2 seasons of the show? I don't have cable so I cant watch them on the CMT site.

I have to go back and watch the episode. Didn't someone in judges deliberations bring that subject up about Brianna or one of the new girls in the finals episode? They were talking about bringing her in just to build up her want and passion for being there and if they have to cut the girl then she will be motivated enough to work on those changes and come back stronger next year. I am going to rewatch tonight and confirm.

Did you not see Lauren when she came to uniform fitting? I thought she was going to faint she was so "star" ( no pun intended) struck over seeing the uniform and trying it on!!!!

I have to watch next week to see who auditions. I don't think everyone in training camp auditions for show group for various reasons. Show group is extra rehearsal time so even though there are amazing dancers on the team, they may no be able to fit an opportunity like show group into their schedule. Cersten didn't audition last year probably because she was studying for her medical exams. She did audition this year because her exams are over and she is just waiting for when she can start med school.

I agree with you. This year they didn't do much with the make overs. It's not interesting for us as viewers but I like how they try to make the TCCs look like themselves instead of just making drastic changes. I think they are trying to give them something a little different but more polished look for publicity shots and how they will be viewed on the big screen. I am seeing alot of what they do in terms of how the cheerleaders look is sometimes based on what it is going to look like on the field on that big screen. There is a reason why the judges were moved out there. The majority of fans are going to be seeing those cheerleaders on that screen rather than in person so if a certain type of makeup look works best on screen the cheerleaders are going to do it. The cheerleaders might tone down their make up when they do personal appearances.

I agree. Kelli and Judy like bringing in trained dancers. They loved Brianna and Erin. They are both great contemporary dancers. Problem is Brianna hasn't exposed herself to trying different types of dance or using different music. They are struggling with this style. Kelli and Judy are going to keep encouraging them and giving advice until they see that it might be too little time for them to pick up the style. Hence Kelli gives the "You need to use this year to take classes learn our style and come back next year stronger" speech like she did with Erin. I know it's sad to see these nice ladies get cut but I love when I watch the next season and see if they audition again how they improved if they did. I like Spice Class too. Good to see Kitty not tearing everybody apart so much and actually teach everyone. Love Group Leader Episodes. I always liked Jinelle and finally she is group leader. I am hoping that this year CMT actually has some air time for a group leader running her own rehearsal. I want to see more vets and TCCs working together away from Kelli and Judy. It would also be interesting to see the different group leaders teaching and leadership styles.
