Moira told Mack if she got back with Connor it would be cute. Ugh. We were done with them and now it looks like they’ll go at it again

While yes that is terrible advice, if Mac has a meltdown anyone dares to not agree with her, I'd just say whatever and agree with whatever she says too just so I could get away and not deal with her BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?!?

  2. Oh so... Moira is mad that Calvin didnt stay single so she could try for both of them because she didn't know what she wanted... and that is Calvin's fault... these woman are terrible. Love that Mackenize is still blaming Connor for the guys not liking her and understanding that her breaking up with him hurt her as well, despite macking on her new guy in front of him.

Caleb is that good I think - he's been tearing up a number of times, the guys seem to like him. I'd be fine with him and Justine winning.

  3. I've started to watch an older season of the UK version and it's shockingly how much more real and less annoying those contestants are, even after only 5 episodes that I've watched.

Carrington was an asshole for that move

I found it strange that they gasped that Calvin brought another girl.... after Moira chose someone else? Like did they want him to be alone and Moira to get both?

  4. I feel.... really bad for Conner. Not being aggressive is not a terrible thing (in fact it's probably a good thing since aggressive men are inherently the worst). Not having experience is not a terrible thing. Having the girl who has been draped over you for two weeks claiming 'he could never kiss passionately' is embarrassing.

  5. I don't think there is a chance they'll get rid of Mac and Conner. They love him too much and I feel like there hasn't been enough talk about 'the game' to warrant getting rid of them for the money and too much talk of ~finding love that they believe they are trying.

I think they'll get rid of Tre and Lauren because I don't think the girls like Lauren (and are scared of her) and like Kiersten more ultimately.

Why why why did Alonzo's friends leave him at that party?  I wanted more details on how they even found that party.  Someone had to know someone that invited them.  The party was an hour away at some farm.  They didn't just stumble on the party.  Who told them about it?  There had to be someone who knew more.

It seemed like the group all arrived in different cars. One group left because they wanted to go to another party, the one guy left to get cigarettes but got lost and it seemed like he was half way home before realizing and just continued. He then called a third friend to ensure Zo had a ride home. So the question really is what did that third friend do and why. I think his friends were all 18ish since they said he was older than them - so old enough to know better sure but still teenagers who were most likely drunk and stupid. I remember having to shove my brother's friends out of the car because they wanted to drive drunk from a party. Teenagers do stupid shit with no ill intent... I think it was just a case of everyone thinking someone else had him and in the end, none of them did.

Regarding your second point.... I feel like that is just how parties happen when you're teenagers. You hear from this friend who heard from their cousin who heard from their girlfriend that someone has an empty house for the weekend so a party is happening.

As a Fleabag fan, it was fun to see Phoebe Waller-Bridge pop up. Was she the same person who was running away from the house in the background when Ruby and Billy left?

I'm pretty sure it was a man who was running away.

  8. I came in here just to see if other people thought this episode was really weird. The onslaught  of flashbacks, the framing of some scenes was really weird, the random strangers we're supposed to care about, Irish's backstory spilled out in short vignettes.

  9. At first I was thrown off by just how quick they decided to go through the door (Jason was gone within the first 15 min of the episode) but it felt right.

I'm completely on board with the whole idea of too much of a good thing and having the choice to move on... I don't find it depressing, it's peaceful to me. I can understand why it's seen the other way but I guess it falls back onto the different schools of thought - whether you believe you're part of a bigger picture and life is just a moment, or you think you have a greater purpose. Neither is wrong and the show had a difficult position to have to chose one. I'm happy with what they chose.

I was completely cool until the wave speech and just sort of sobbed and then stopped and then started again when Eleanor went through and I have a headache now. It's nice though

She could have still won had either of them been able to whip out a better Kathy Bates project like Misery.

They were trying to get there but you could tell neither of them could remember the name Misery - they said something along the lines of 'she kept the guy in her house'.

I still despise the Song Sung Wrong game.

Why would it be garbage. Surely they can do something with it. Heck bring it to the local shelter and feed the homeless.  Something.  (I'm insulted that perfectly good cheese would get thrown out!!!!)

Shelter houses often refuse food that's open and/or potentially contaminated.

Thunder Oak certainly couldn't sell it straight out - particularly how the girls were cutting it.

I have to say that these challenges that have the teams dealing with food bother me.  The food that is prepared is never eaten by anybody for obvious reasons and it's just a waste of food.

I'm not the type of person who has ever said "finish your plate - there are starving children in Africa," but this is a situation where food is being willfully wasted.  I'd be happy not to see any of these types of challenges again on any form of TAR.

I read an interview with the judge from the Thunder Oak Cheese Farm and he said "They went through four wheels. It was insane... We couldn’t use any of the leftover cheese, so the camera men asked ‘This is garbage, right?’ and started munching on them.”(X)

So it did get eaten at least!

Would it be an hour long plane ride? I am thinking much longer since you wouldn't want to fly directly from Boston to Toronto since that would mean flying over a lot of Gilead airspace. If they have any kind of airforce left it would probably be a bad idea. Probably bettwr to fly towards international waters the towards Canada. The  again if you did that there would be a number of a lot better places to land than Toronto.

They landed when it was still dark and with them leaving the house after midnight, it would be a six hour trip max... unless they did go out to the water and it was a nearly 24 hour trip for them to land in the dark again.

In all my years of dating, I've never considered being strapped naked against a naked man, or straddling make outs "normal" or "fine." But I guess that's just me.

Being jealous in this situation is normal. I literally said in the sentence before that this wasn't normal dating.
