  1. I’ll watch since it appears of the group Bulent is the only one who has been on the show multiple times and we haven’t seen him in a while.

The only other name I recognize is Heather and I think she was the one who billed herself as an expert fisherwoman who managed to lose all of her fishing hooks in pretty quick order.

So do we think that there will really be eliminations until the last one is left, or will there be some delicious twist where eliminated contestants vote and bad behaviors bite them on the butt?

I’ve lost count how many episodes have aired so far and I’m too lazy to look it up … anyway I’ve been wondering the same thing.  Since they’re 2 hour episodes, maybe a challenge every hour?  Or whittle down to the last 3 or 4 then there’s this nail biting finale where the winner is decided?

  3. I was tempted to skip the episode entirely due to the previews showing Jeff talking about sabotaging the other group.  Question is if they allow it and someone (actually Jeff, I can’t imagine anyone else here doing it) does it will they reward it during the recap when they adjust that bogus PSR for each participant.

  4. About building a raft to go down those rapids, I don’t get how one team can build something that can withstand pounding against the rocks and make it through relatively unscathed while the other team builds something that is pretty much the complete opposite and is destroyed by the end of the trip.  Somehow Jeff still has all his stuff?  It looked like it was all lost at one point.  He talked about sabotaging the other team’s raft, maybe he should have been spending his energy into thinking about how to build something more durable.  The funniest part about that was per the rules stated later he would have had to wait around for the others to rebuild their raft.  He’s not thinking ahead to what the next set of instructions will say.

H&I is making schedule changes week after next.   They have a Twilight Zone marathon starting at noon on Sunday 7/2 running through noon on 7/4.  I'm assuming this means TZ is being added to the channel somewhere on the schedule (presumably on the weekend if it is).

Decades used to run a Twilight Zone marathon during the Independence Day weekend so since they’ve changed to a comedy show format it looks like H&I is the new home for the marathons.  I doubt it’s being added to their regular schedule.

If Sarah wants to blame someone, blame the producers for making it so freaking confusing.  If they would have color coded the bones, or told the survivalists to pick them up, there wouldn't be a problem.

I’ll wager that this scenario will come up again and whoever’s left will probably face the same situation as Sarah.  Maybe that time it’ll be Jeff 🤣🤣🤣.

How about if Jeff wins, we get to see everyone else lose their minds about Jeff winning, and then Jeff ultimately gets his own show- Naked and Afraid: Surviving Prison after he is arrested for tax fraud for not paying taxes on the $100,000 prize?

This is what I live for!

There’s only one reason I’d like to see Jeff win and that’s the hope if they do this type of competition again he is not invited to participate.

I want to see a Jeff eaten by a hippo.

During Jeff’s talking head segments tonight I’ve wanted to punch him through the TV so I’ve been wondering if the cameraman was wanting to do the same.

Has anyone else noticed how often the opening/closing of many scenes that feature Jeff have a snake slithering around?

Yep, production must think he's a snake, too.

    They did it again tonight.

About that challenge, too bad about Sarah.  From the way the challenge was designed someone was going to be crowded out. I guess Steven wasn’t keeping track of how many trails were being followed already since he couldn’t find one that someone else wasn’t already on, but it looks like survival kicked in when he saw Sarah instead of looking for the last untouched trail.  I wouldn’t be surprised if something similar happens further through the competition.

And who on earth abuses a kid and films themselves doing it? Wonder what other things they filmed and if the footage is out there somewhere? What if they were hoping to exploit her sexually, but their plans were foiled when they realized she was in precocious puberty, so they had to find a way out?

I don’t understand why Michael was filming his interrogation of Natalia when he found the donuts.  It doesn’t make him look good.  All I saw was a little girl just laying on the sofa trying to answer him.  Of course he wanted to know who she’s been talking to who would know she’s around and of course on her own.  I wouldn’t doubt there’s more footage like this that wasn’t aired.

A couple of links to stories from ETOnline, at the end of the first one there’s a mention of an eight part Hulu miniseries about this and the second has a preview with Natalia’s response:

His behavior last night was frightening.  There's something broken in his soul.  He doesn't care about anything but trying to "win" any argument.  His moral compass swings freely . . . there is no "true north," because Jeff keeps changing directions so haphazardly that the little arrow is off its spindle.

    A totally despicable human being.

Steven’s reaction was heartbreaking.  What Jeff said at the end of last night’s episode plus the incident with the pot Jeff that wanted to throw in the river I think pretty much sealed the deal for Steven.  They were a team for 60 days in LA and by all appearances got along very well. After this display it seems like that is gone.

  11. I don’t understand how Sarah could give Jeff the fish, even after they all agreed no feeding Jeff.  I had been “meh” on her from her first challenge but was starting to like her then this.  I don’t get it.  I sort of get why Gary gave him some impala, he wanted to keep that pelt to stay warm at night.

Cheeny’s line about Jeff - “he’s the one who graduated but you could never figure out how” was classic.  😆

Loved how when Jeff after he’s told the other team got the impala he said “we’re all eating tonight?” and Matt flat out said “no” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes, this is a competition and they all want to win.  The 7 of them seem to realize you don’t need to pi$$ people off to do it.

Jeff: Medic!!! I just cut myself with the saw! I need stitches!

Karma: Here ya go Jeff! Instantly at your service!

I laughed out loud so hard when that happened.   He is getting karma back in spades especially when everyone else is off eating the impala.  He’s hungry and they’re eating … when the situation was reversed in the Philippines XL he just didn’t care.

Or is it to rent a van when they get to Israel?

10k seems pretty steep for a van rental, even one that is wheelchair accessible.   Did the crowdfund say anything about how long they’re going? (my guess would be no) That’s nice they want to take her on a vacation like this but I’m always suspicious when people do a crowd fund for something like this.  If anyone is motivated to help out that’s their business I guess 🤷‍♀️

Do the other kids get to go along as well, or have they not been through so much 🤔?

He really cracked me up on this last move when he bundled up all his shit and started running to be ahead of Matt. He was like Mr Bean or something trying to be quiet and running on his toes arms all full.  It really made me laugh. Do-de-do-de-doo

Then they show Matt casually walking along like he’s taking a stroll through the park.  It would be interesting if after the lukewarm welcome Sarah and Cheeny gave Gary Jeff shows up … then their spirits would be further dampened.

Michael and his histrionics.. Wow. He's a real piece of work. The hoarder little person bragging about how big his junk is..ick. So he basically said Michael was sexually abusing Natalia? Is that what he said when Michael was holding the laptop at the end? As a side note, you threaten to smash my laptop, and you're going to get your ass handed to you. He's really an ass isn't he?

About that scene at the end of the series and that laptop - that’s real good judgement by the producers.  Hey, this guy who’s been over the top emotional, let’s let him look at a video on one of our laptops to trigger him more!  Yes he is a piece of work.

I'm completely flummoxed that those at the state mental hospital never once considered that Natalia had been sexually abused when they're whole job is dealing with people mental health issues.  Don't even get me started on the legal stuff, such as the adoption to begin with. This post would be way too long cover all of the questions and inconsistencies throughout the documentary.

Yes, they should have been calling in counselors who could ask her questions to determine if she had been sexually abused instead of the Barnetts to tell them “take her back, she’s acting inappropriately toward the men here”.

Then the story about the adoption, if what Michael said is accurate (which I’m not sure about at this point given his histrionics later) - if it was the rush job he described they should have walked away.  A rule I have is if someone is forcing me into a decision that I must make right away, tomorrow is “too late” I will walk away.  I’ll assume they’re hiding something that I will be forced to deal with later without their help.

It is kind of satisfying to see Jeff hurry scurrying and feeling the pressure of his past (and present) attitudes and actions coming home to roost. Of all the boasting he does about his survival prowess, I am not seeing any real talent from him on that claim.

Same here.  Jeff seems impressed with himself.  Sure, he can catch fish but I’ve never seen much other talent from him that would put him head and shoulders above others.  His behavior of wanting to grab everything else first/hog all the fishing spots like during the Philippines XL reeks of insecurity.

  18. Another stupid cliffhanger.  Ugh.  Who will Jeff end up with? Who will Matt end up with?  So they won’t be on the same team.  When Jeff was running down the path it looked like it was going downhill.  I was hoping with all of stuff he was carrying that would give him enough momentum to fall.  I know it’s mean to think that but he’s such a jerk.  He’s complaining about how he’s being treated and it’s only because of the way he’s treated others in past XLs.
