Everyone is assuming that Jinger and Jeremy practiced natural family planning or some form of “birth control” but what if they just struggled to get pregnant? For all we know they’ve been trying for awhile and it just took them longer than the rest of the married off kids? My husband and I have been trying for almost a year with timed intercourse and tracking everything with no luck...I wouldn’t bank on them being ones to actively try to NOT get pregnant to just “enjoy their first year”...One couple we know kept saying they didn’t really want kids or were not sure if they wanted them and come to find out they are in our infertility group...it’s not uncommon.

I hope for Joys sake her body is kind to her and gives her a break during breast feeding so she can enjoy Giddy for awhile without having to resume duties of being a birth machine....

Man, seeing the clips (havent watched the past few episodes) of Joy and Austin in the RV from this season--Joy seems to be enjoying it and ready for the "adventure" and more laid back whereas Austin is a grouchy stick in the mud--boy is he snappy with her. Hopefully Joy can get some of her spark back but I feel like shes going to have one of the worst marriages out of the recent crop :(

I agree with the poster above—I don’t think Jessa is a bitch, she’s just more assertive and no bullshit—If I lived in a family’s that had no direction and wasnt taught to think for themselves I think I too would be a little like jessa in regards to just telling it like it is without beating around the bush all the time. Being assertive is probably freeing for her. Jingers insecurities run deep so while she’s trying to figure out who she is I try to give her the benefit of the doubt...I could see Jeremy steering her into a certain direction while simultaneously trying to encourage her to be her own person to a certain degree.

Okay, so what do we think is going on with Jill/Sam? Very weird that it has been so quiet--have there been any congrats videos? Could it be that they are waiting for the People exclusive and have a contract stating they need to be quiet with any info in order to receive the check?

So, she much as it irks me to hear Joy say "we want as many as the lord will bless us with" when it comes to children--I still firmly believe that it's just one of those "easier said than done" moments--she's 19, she's entering into a whole new world with Austin and I think that they won't be the crazy rabbit-reproducers. I think once they settle into life and pop out the first and maybe 2nd one, reality will set in with the cost of living and lifestyle and they will rethink that whole plan. Austins family is a sensible size (whether it was intended that way or not) so I think right now I'm just taking that statement as it is--from a naive, young woman. I think they will have a happy marriage and I sincerely hope they both enjoy and utilize the outdoors so they have hobbies outside of perpetual pregnancy. I think Joy is marrying into a kinder fundie family than the one she was born into. laughed at the subtle shade about Josiah putting the wrestling mask on and the duggar brother commenting on it at least having hair. Jill and Derrick suck. Jessa won't be getting pregnant again for awhile methinks--she's overwhelmed and I think she thought it would be easier not realizing that without the sister mom's--parenting is HARD WORK. Glad to see Jinger doesnt need her husband around in order to explore life. Maybe we will even see if she has her own friends! Don't forget the fact that she had a manicure recently. Those was French tips scream close up ring shots for some engagement photos.

This may be an unpopular opinion here but I have to say it: Jessa is really starting to grow into her own person. Michelle is not a nuturing parent and lil JillDill is following in her footsteps..Jessa, on the other hand, seems to have a genuine instinct and truly loves her babies. I think she's becoming more laid back and less snotty. Sure, she can be opinionated--but god, at least she can form one and go against her family at times unlike Jill and Joy (who good fricken god, girl needs to get a personality of her own again). Jessa at least is herself--I can see why she misses Jinger and how the separation is hard--these two are the girls in the family who are themselves and are not above growing into their own person unlike their goshdarn sheep sisters.

Jim Boob probably has health insurance from having a job and has her covered--since none of the husband's have any real jobs they probably can't afford the hospital bill they'd get strapped with and JB isn't about to pay for those bills either.
