After Melissa Gimble and Josh Skinner find true love, Season 2 finds them in Schmicago, the world of 60’s and 70’s musicals. I guess they will have to completely redo the sets, wardrobes, and props.

I guess this would make sense, but I was thinking that it might be more interesting if, maybe they were a species that wanted to be left alone. They move to what is a space "desert" to stay away from other alien races because every new alien race they meet just becomes more of them. They leave a few people unchanged to tell the story of what happened to spread the rumor to never go into that area. Then they send a ship to pick up and welcome the new members of their community. The only thing that ruins this theory is that they are sending out a "distress signal" instead of a "warning" to stay away from this area. It might have been an interesting story about an alien race that wants/longs for diversity, but know that they can never have it.

Well that was interesting. The music was distracting, but in a good way, it kept your mind engaged, even when the scenes were not all that compelling. I liked the half-time reset to shift the character perspective. It really shifted the power dynamic knowing that Cal didn't come into situation unaware. It seems like an odd place to leave episode 1, but it really makes you want to watch episode 2, but alas it is late, and it will have to wait. It is strange that they haven't really fleshed out any of the other school students except for Ben. They should also give us a little more information about recognizing the different types of monsters and how to dispatch them. At least they didn't make the mistake of making the night action scene too dark to make out what is going on. Why did papa Burns throw that dead body in the back of his truck? How will he be able to explain that if he is pulled over by the cops?

Then I am guessing (the article I read that mentioned them is new, must have meant newly identified) those posters are the ones that were positively identified based on all the new information from the Empire article.
