  1. Trixie is by far my favorite character. I think that Helen George summed her up best by saying she was sensitive but opinionated. I think one of my favorite moments was when Barbara said she would just wear her sister's white two-piece to her own wedding. The look on Trixie's face!! She was horrified.
  2. I agree with the others who aren't broken up about the three actors leaving. I liked Patsy-Delia and what they brought to the show, but Sister Mary Cynthia was getting painful for me to watch. I started fast forwarding through her scenes. I am delighted by the new nurse Lucille. I felt the show was lacking in the perspective of a nurse of color.
  3. Perhaps an unpopular opinion.... but I'm not convinced of the value of being a DCC. True, there is quite a bit of cultural capital in being a DCC. But what about career wise? In terms of landing a job as a choreographer or coach, I can imagine there is a tremendous amount of competition from other NFL as well as the NBA dancers. So the advantage, while key, would be minimal. In terms of launching into a modeling/acting career, it seems that being on a team of 36 would make it difficult for a woman to stand out. And for those who want to take other avenues (such as graduate school), the time spent as a DCC seems to be a delay in starting their careers. I've been following several on Instagram to see how their post DCC lives pan out. Megan C did just land that coaching job. Nicole B opened a Bar Method franchise with her sister. But they seem to be the exception. What am I missing? Can someone enlighten me?
  4. Thank you! This should be a very interesting scene in MTT. Perhaps up there with cutting Chelsea after the "here comes the fatties" comment (Season 11? 10?)
  5. Sorry to ask a question that has already been discussed but I'm confused... Allie, Heather H, and Raylee were cut? Because they went out to a concert after a cut night?
  6. I loved the 1985 series and I was interested to see how the remake would fare. I think the PTSD makes quite a bit of sense. Orphans were treated as forced labor, and people in general were more violent with children. That said, I felt terribly gloomy after watching the first three episodes. Anne has retreated into her own world as a coping mechanism. In the books and the first season, it was charming. In this series, it's almost pathological, which makes me feel so sad for the character.
