I agree! I'm a fan of Meredith. She's so pretty and her features kinda reminds me of Megan Fox. I felt she got some unjust hate from the judges last year. Brenda saying shes "about herself" before even speaking to her and her body shape being called a "rectangle"(Which I had no idea was a thing) by that other male judge. And she really moves like a well trained dancer.

Bridget is my fave DCC and my hope for eventual point. Im ok with Maddie or Amy this year if thats what its coming down to. But probably Amy this time around. Shes a 5th year DCC and leader. She has proven herself.

Food for thought...I just saw this as a promo for the season starting and the way they cropped it, it looks like Amy at point....pure fun speculation...

The instagram post is from idillionaire, who is a writer of self help books. The post is not necessarily about a big loss and how to overcome it, but more about being confident and not to stress (just paraphrasing it).

I do not think that it is an indication of Kat's being cut just that she has to, in the words of psychoanalyst and philosopher Melissa Rycroft, and I quote 'stay out of her head', unquote.

Also, Kat is too good of a dancer, too pretty, too much of a character to be cut. I honestly believe that. I mean, if they kept Morgan for that same reason (minus good dancing) then they sure as hell want to hold on to Kat!

What if you read this to mean that everything working out is that she ends up making the team? Especially if that means being something bigger than she even imagined.Training camp is very challenging...if she believes in her abilities she will make it through and make the team:)

I believe there is a mathematical reason for having 36 dancers on the team.  Thirty six allows for the most symmetrical formations on the field.  For example:  The numbers one through eight when added together totals 36.  That forms the perfect team triangle.  When the girls are split into 4 groups of nine, a perfect outside diamond can be made with nine dancers ( 8 for the sides and one in the center).  You can also make a perfect diamond using the entire team ( 1+ 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 5 + 4 +3 + 2 + 1 = 36)  Also, you can make a semi-triangle (parallelogram) with three rows (2 + 3 + 4 = 9).  If the girls are split into a routine of six groups of six girls a perfect mini-triangle (1 + 2 + 3 = 6) can be made.  You can make a medium triangle with 15 girls (add numbers 1 through 5 = 15).  You can make two medium triangles and one mini triangle with a team of 36 girls.   Myriad formations can be made using the groups of six dancer mini triangles and groups of the nine dancer diamonds.  See crude drawing.

I remember one season when they didn't have 36 girls and Kelly asked Judy if she could make it work and she said yes she could.  I suspect the All Stars filled the vacant spots to work the magic of 36.

Thank you for this....I was never a cheerleader so i find it interesting to see how the math plays out.

I definitely feel sorry for her at this point ... it's a bit pathetic to be honest.  She should resign and move on with her life.  I do think tattling on Jenna served no purpose but to create drama.  Yes K+J want to know what went down while they were away but was that tidbit about Jenna important to the business operations / function of DCC?  Was it critical to their job or the success of the team?  Or was Jenna just confiding in Shelly and hoping to get some guidance/feedback from her.  I think Jenna should just cut her losses and leave the team .... why be around haters or people who are going to betray you or be rude to you?  Might as well just cherish the memories and move on with life.

The takeaway I had when Jenna was first called into the office the first two times was about her leadership. That text was an example of her thinking of herself and not the team as a whole. I have no problem with what Shelley did. That is her job....I thought Kelli had said you have to regain her trust. Timing is everything in dance as well as life. It would have served her better to get to a point. no pun intended;), where enough time had passed all while stepping up in her leadership role helping others etc and once the team was set and Kelli and Judy were finished with their hard decision regarding cuts and then have a conversation with Kelli and Judy directly. The problem with texting is sometimes with the written word it is hard to convey intent and tone. Jenna is learning some important life lessons. BTW I don't hate Jenna...I am sure she is a nice young lady

According to someone on Facebook, Texas is a dry heat and Ohio has a humid heat.  If you aren't used to it, it's unbearable.

We have a lot of humidity here in Baltimore...it feels like you hit a wall when you walk outside and it is hard to breathe sometimes...I can't imagine performing for an entire game if you were not used to it.

I loved how Kelli gave a shout out to Lacey and Jinelle for leading the team for the HOF game.

So I didn't really know who to tell but I got selected to compete in Miss Teen Pasadena! If I win the next round I'll go onto represent Miss Teen California in Nationals! I wore my Cowboys bracelet and they asked what our favourite show is and I said Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team! AAAH

How did you make out with the competition?

who is that at the end with the wrong arms? Jessika?

I do not mean this is a bad way...because they certainly do not look like them....but Kelli and Judy up the the tower remind me of the two muppets up in the balcony...I love Kelli and Judy BTW and think they make a great team :)

I wonder how much of that is done to the show, though.  and it is 100% USA specific,  no matter how much Kelli says they're recognised the world over and have 'the world's most iconic uniform' (which makes me laugh and gag a little at the pretention and hubris in that ridiculous statement). ask people in Europe, hell, show them a picture of the girls in uniform and you'll likely just get 'she's hot' but zero recognition that she's a cheerleader or for which team.  Hell, I grew up in DC, I support the Redskins (and of course The First Ladies of Football are first in my heart) and the Redskins/Cowboys rivalry is probably the biggest in the NFL. Back then I couldn't have told you if the Cowboys even had cheerleaders, let alone picked them out of a lineup in uniform.  I think a LOT of their brand recognition in the last decade is the show.  Has Kelli done a great job in ensuring they're the most famous by shopping them out to CMT and promoting them hard? absolutely, and I gotta say, as much as she makes me roll my eyes a lot, I have to respect her for the job she's done in making the brand and promoting them the way she has. has that maybe been at the cost of the team being as good as it once was? probably.  Do I enjoy watching the DCC, yes of course.  Do I love the kickline, you're damn right, but do I think they're the best? nope.  do I think they have an overinflated concept of just how good and how famous they are? without a shadow of a doubt. but hey, it works for them.  if other teams had a show, maybe they'd be just a famous

I might be a bit older than you and I grew up an Eagles fan so I know the Eagles/Dallas rivalry as well. The first cheerleading team I remember was the Cowboys Cheerleaders. They were everywhere in tv and Dallas was winning Superbowls in the 70's right around the time they redid the uniforms and developed their own style of dancing and cheering. Their poster was a big seller. right up there with Farah Fawcett, i am really dating myself. I only recently started watching the show this year...had when it first came out but watched again because I was interested in a TCC. They definitely have a good marketing department and their brand is pretty solid. For those who are a bit younger I agree with you that the show is the driving force for their recognition. We do have quite the rivalry going don't we with Cowboys/Redskins/Eagles don't we?;)

No pink halftime as the NFL has designated October as Crucial Catch month, for early detection of all cancers.

I actually like this because colon and pancreatic cancer and leukemia are all important cancers in my family. Early detection is key...and I imagine for the players prostrate cancer as well. Cure and catch all cancers is a good thing:)

Once again, I guess I am in the minority because I do not think Breenan should have made TC or even be considered for the squad. She does not say DCC to me dance wise. She is cute, but her personality does not say DCC to me either. I also do not understand why Lauren would give up a nursing career where she can actually help patients instead of putting on a small uniform to shake her cash and prizes for men and a few bucks. Yes, being a DCC is all fine and dandy for a few years, but a nursing career while hard and demanding would be more of a career in the long run. I guess I do not understand the strong need to be a DCC and giving up something even for a short while you work so hard to achieve in the first place.

I got the impression she was putting it on hold until after training camp.

I don't know. I moved away from my southern hometown to another region of the country 20 years ago and I still have my accent. I get asked about it daily. My kids put on an exaggerated version and tease me about it. I choose to believe it is out of love and comfort, not mocking. :)

I had a grandmother who come over from Ireland when she was 25 and still had her brogue until the day she died at 104:) I don't think Kelly was mocking her but did it in a way that shows she has a good relationship with her. I love the way Kashara smiles with her eyes!
