  1. People need to train their memories. There are a lot of already resolved things that people keep asking about. Plus Coady was part of Paul's death for chrissakes. I'll finish my Season 4 rewatch this week, but I've got it all down pretty well.
  2. Reminds me of how a group of wiki people tried to claim PLL/Marlene was racist just because Shana/Lyndon were antagonists and Yvonne/Maya died. The show has killed far more straight white men and has two prominent leads that are diverse (Emily/Mona). I understand that some creepy white men weren't punished (Ezra), but blame partially falls on the audience/network for that being condoned as a fairytale. This show sends wrong messages over and over again, but the intent is like that of an innocent tween's fanfiction. The PLL world will never represent reality, and therefore it's not a place to insert social justice arguments. Emison feels like a bunch of people just wanting to see two pretty people together (even though Paige obliterates Alison when it comes to being attractive, but then again I value intelligence), and it doesn't shock me at all that Twitter is that vapid.
  3. Coady was not implied to be dead. She was a loose end. I have no sympathy for Felix, because he made Ira his errand boy with no hesitation. Plus he gets to hang out with his annoying blood relative like he wanted. I'm sure Cal will be mentioned as part of Sarah/Kira's happy ending, but I'm not sure if the actor was available. Paul dying really hurt Cal's role as a piece in a love triangle.
  4. -PT is now Susan's keeper. Neither have really done a lick of good for Rachel, if only Ethan were still here. -Freaky tooth. The holes that thing keeps leaving in animals is vomit-inducing. -Kira not having any of Sarah's interrogation. #StopBlamingRachel -Percival gave Susan back her weird Freudian clone courtship. Time to start the mission you were bullied into, beta Ira. -Apparently both Sarah and the comic boys have the same level of need to know intel. Delphine really rubbed off on S. -Nice play Sarah, the splash in her face helps get out the aggression. -"It's not his fault". Code for "it's completely his fault". This creature is a tortured human experiment of our big bad. -Kendall set the tone for these mother/daughter complexities. "What it means to become you". -Delphine is the one close to HQ. Unless PT has some way of hacking into clone brains(like that swan ordeal?), I'm not sure why Sarah is left in the dark. -Ira is just Susan's consolation prize. Hopefully Ira is ready to dump this dinosaur. -First Sestra Session of 2017. Love it when these two unite. Core of the show, honestly. Fight me, people who think Cosima/Alison holds precedence. -Helena's got a tongueless old friend to call on. Wonder if that doctor is now tongueless too. P.S. I'd buy a copy of Helena's memoir. -Trust me Adele, I'd have an even colder welcome for you. Not a side character I find amusing. Even if she's out of the clone closet. -Helena is the mother MVP. Yes, share all horrors. Kids don't like being patronized, especially in a life or death battle with them as a centerpiece. -Sarah feels the flow of sisterhood! Rachel will never have this tingly sensation. Helena will have miracle twins that WON'T try to kill each other. -Master of DisguiSe. -Virginia Coady! Not someone I expected a return visit to, even though we never knew where Ferdinand took her. I don't think it was to a lobotomy. -Aw, sweet gift from Helena. Keep drooling on yourself, bitch. -Original obsession that dates back pre-cloning. "Never been squeamish". -Mud is a stupid kind of brave. But mostly stupid since Cosima has been tailing her with ease and Cosima apparently isn't under lock and key or being watched/guarded. -Revenge strangle. Is she going to use that key card and re-appear later down the line? If she does get out, I think Helena will have some "love" of her own to give back. -Susan vs. Coady. Game on. Ira/Susan aren't protected if she escapes. -Felix finally got a job and he's talking about art openings. Oy. -"Your corporate raised psychopath is finally paying dividends". This is one brutal custody battle. Super Spy Ira. -To The Future: AKA S5E05: Mud stops avoiding the questions, Sarah gives Kira respect, Rachel keeps hurting her mommy, and Cophine play dress-up.
  5. Alex must've been planning to settle down there with Toby. The giant dungeon would be where Alex discreetly disposed of any threats to her and the guy she was raping.
  6. I do have to wonder if part of the "thinking" behind the Alex origin was tied to Marlene hearing about Tatiana Maslany. "Hey that's cool, let's make Troian do it! The awards will come flowing in".
  7. -Nev and Max were childhood buddies? -Zoning out from random chicks. I've never seen the movie. -They got a word in the dictionary. Being pushed out of your comfort zone sounds like better definition. -No, MTV fame is discount fame. -Funny or Die. Never seen it. Have a feeling that'll be the case with all the media clippings they show in this special. -Home made parodies. I have seen the SIMGM ones, but I much rather when they produce the PLL parody series. -International Catfish knock-offs. Those would be faster to watch since I can click and skim through subtitles. -Spark is gone, time for a divorce. Or a longer break than 3 weeks. -Tim's right, they rerun the crap out of this. If you're just flipping channels, it'll wind up being on. -Catfish: Alcoholic Edition. -I don't know what about this show inspires passionate responses. Is it easy to lazy watch for people on their phones? -I feel like a lot of actions on this show are for drama reels. -I don't want to live in this world of underwater cats :(
  8. -Are you a racehorse? Because when I ride, you always finish first. -Helping a Catfish find their Catfish. Pretty sure Nev and Max arranged this just because they like that guy. -Roommate is an ex. Of course this is getting convoluted. -I know it was probably recent, but I don't remember any details from Johnny's former episode. This is the kind of show you forget 5 seconds after watching. -However, if this turns out to be Andrew, this episode is like a reverse rehash. -Giving Johnny the shakedown. But if it was a twist like that they wouldn't spoil it now. -Camron's a tool. -Still no faith in their client. -It's a fugly female. -Oh wait, he left her hanging. Points for irony. -Might he not be bisexual? (Oh, he's fluid or something) -Ok, now and Nev and Max are leaning too much on Shana's side. You can't pick on Johnny's obsessive behavior and then pat Shana on the back. -Johnny's growth arc is complete. But oh look, Shana's not being a big person. -Season 7 isn't confirmed, is it? :/ Hat trick. I'm sure they'll write a 3rd script with this dork.
  9. That's the only full circle moment I wanted
  10. Sara Harvey and Alex Drake would never have existed if the show wrapped at Season 5. Would've been Wren and CeCe working together. Finale could've raised the stakes a little if Wren was killed on-screen while trying to go behind Alex's back and rescue real Spencer. Bizarre to not even have Wren encounter any of the Liars.
  11. I really don't understand why on top of Nicole, the predator report, and Ezra getting kidnapped....they felt the need to rob Aria of childbearing in order to create 5 minutes of will they/won't they drama. It's no coincidence that Marlene wrote herself in as the person whose cell phone buzzes during the "any objections?" bit of the wedding. She thinks she's being clever by making a joke out of how many speed bumps she's responsible for making before the knot tie. Ezria fans are so un-sharp that I'm positive Marlene fooled at least a good half of them. Oh well, Aria's practice with Malcolm is the closest she'll ever get. Unless they adopt a baby from a mental institution.
  12. Wait...hold up. Why did Alex make Spencer go visit Toby in the hospital? Wouldn't she want real Spencer far away from her hunk of cheddar? I guess Jenna and Toby are cool now because of Jenna's tip. What was the point of AD kidnapping Jenna and Jenna's scene at the end of Playtime if she wasn't going to work with Alex? Show even went out of its way to say Alex was blackmailing Sydney for something, instead of her helping for Jenna. Ella is used to catfight with Dianne, when she could've shared a scene with her daughter and explained why Mike couldn't make it. Also I'm pissed at how Lucas was used, there was a throwaway line at the beginning that made it seem like he made his money back, but he still only appeared in an odd snowglobe reality. Where the Liars ignored him and treated him like crud.
  13. I heard that Alex apparently caused the deer crash and killed Yvonne? I'm not sure if the Spoby shippers will even notice that they didn't really get together conclusively.
  14. Reminds me of Talking Dead. At least they didn't do one of these after every PLL ep.
  15. I think the final scene of Addison going missing is supposed to represent the never-ending cycle of bullshit in this universe. Mona didn't end up with Mike, boo! How did Mona get those two away from the police? O.O I.....whatever, Mona's a better jail-keeper anyways. Freeform is totally going to try and make a spinoff with these new girls. Marlene went off the deep end with this. For realz.
  16. No one can call her Loser Mona because she's the only A to win. Very bummed to see Spencer not kill her twin. Every Liar is supposed to have a kill!
  17. Toby has to choose between two Spencer's. The trope made it in! Mona lived? Most unexpected part of the finale.
  18. Falcon punching Mary Drake. Wren came to kill Mona? He really went nuts. To an out of character extent. Uh oh, she's wielding an axe. Even more elaborate set design than the dollhouse....
  19. Hot air balloon weirdo. Civil case against Addison. Addison really is the proxy for unresolved Alison issues. How sweet of Jenna to look out for Toby
  20. That's just Jenna's acute sense of smell
  21. Sydney was a one-off. That line is so meta. Twincer's trying to steal Spencer's man! I'm surprised Marlene took this long to use A in a love triangle.
  22. Mary Drake is an abusive mother. Byron is going to wring Ezra's neck! :D Starting to think the only Lucas appearance is his dancing at the beginning o.o Spencer/Ezra are the only people involved in the climax right now.
  23. I still can't get over how poorly Wren's insertion here was handled. I guess this is karma for him having such a hard-on for Spencer while dating Melissa? He gets killed by his unhealthy crush.
