  1. I can see why his bed broke on the way to Texas. I have that exact model of hospital bed and the bed is only rated to go up to 600 pounds and that includes the mattress which is heavy. He is 800 plus pounds so something had to give.
  2. I just started watching the first minute of this episode and need to ask ..... Why is it starting off like a Stephen King novel made into a movie?
  3. I often have cream of wheat and eggs in the morning. However I eat 2 eggs and a packet of cream of wheat. Then I have a cup of tea and I'm done.
  4. I'm sorely tempted to get my sister one of those Heart Attack Grill teeshirts. She recently had triple bypass heart surgery and she adores Las Vegas.
  5. OFF TOPIC ( for a sec) : That just means that you're a good book reader. I might actually have to read IT now. I did see the movie but never read the book.
  6. I'm no skinnie minnie myself and unless I am incapacitated again like I was in 2015, I cannot imagine being forever okay with not getting up and going to the toilet for the rest of my life. I think I would toss the donuts and just eat the meat and the bacon after scraping off those disgusting orange processed cheese slices.
  7. Penny's bed pan wontons, Marla's bed-fried chicken and Lupe's Purse Burritos.
  8. When I used to live across the street from a take out place I used to eat this all the time and yes I gained weight. Now since I moved if I am craving poutine I make a healthier alternative. A baked potato (or a baked sweet potato) with a little shredded cheese and beef gravy on top and I don't eat those every day.
  9. I believe she did both.
  10. If the gravy is made with gluten free flour and labeled as such then it is okay for celiacs.
  11. It's a Canadian dish. Originally from Quebec. French fries, cheese curds on top of the fries and hot beef gravy on top of the cheese.
  12. I'm Canadian so that whole concept of biscuits and gravy is foreign to me. I had never seen white gravy before until that episode and I guess the small bits of sausage in it (or whatever was in it) looked like mushrooms. If I was going to have gravy it would be brown (beef gravy) and on poutine which for me is not on my diet anymore as it is way too high in calories and fat. She was at first until he started whining that he didn't like or want the fish and vegetables anymore and demanded chinese food.
  13. It looked like mushroom soup to me.
  14. I just typed in stroke symptoms vomiting and that came up first. That room probably did smell. What grossed me out was the gross filthy carpeting. It looked like that room had never been vacumned. Ewwww.

  16. Yes. Not to the extent of Tracey's. The bulk of my weight goes from my waist to my knees. I have 1 lymphedema mass on the inside of each knee. My left leg is worse then my right leg. Considering I have been going through what Tracey has been going through mobility wise she has really impressed me. That woman is a rock star!
  17. THANK YOU!! I actually got into an argument with some idiot on Youtube who swore left and right that corn was a vegetable and not a starch. I've known it is a starch for years. It is even listed on my Richard Simmons Deal-A-Meal cards as a starch. I can have 2 servings corn, bread, peas, beans, rice, potatoes, oatmeal or cream of wheat a day but never in the same meal. I could have them in the same meal if I choose too but I personally like to split them up.
  18. There is nothing wrong with having bacon and eggs for breakfast as long as you're not shoveling in 2 pounds of bacon and 3 or 4 dozen eggs at a time. (Hear that James!!). Personally I do better on a breakfast of eggs (with or without bacon or sausages) and a piece of fruit then I do with oatmeal. Then eggs keep me fuller for longer. Most mornings I have 2 boiled eggs or a 2 egg mushroom omelette and a banana or an orange or a grapefruit and a cup of sugarless tea. If on the odd occasion I'm still hungry after I eat that I will peel and eat a whole cucumber. Sometimes that does not work and the mass needs to be surgically removed. Mine need to be surgically removed but nothing can be done for me until I hit 300 pounds or under. (Just keep dieting, just keep dieting ....)
  19. Tell him the best one. :-) Are there posts about this I need to read because now I am totally lost. Edited to add: Nevermind. I found the posts. :-) P.S. You're right. Your husband IS a sicko. lol
  20. I ended up losing 20 pounds with my second pregnancy due to morning sickness. Could not stomach any type of meat at all. I pretty much lived on cheese, eggs, and loads of fruits and vegetables. I could only stomach fish the last couple of weeks of my pregnancy. Now that my son is an adult I've often told him he was the best diet ever. LOL
  21. I've thought that for a while. I'd be dying to ask him how is eating habit is. :-)
  22. If he hasn't had a wake up call by now then he'll end up dead.
  23. I guess it all comes down to the width of the door of the oven and the width of the deceased but with that said my sister got cremated just fine and her coffin was 50 inches across.
  24. From what I have seen on the following video they use a mobile conveyer belt and from the looks of the ones seen in the video they are made of steel so they can easily handle the weight of the coffin and the body.
