  1. I am liking this show. I’m a big KS fan and loved 24.

There are some tropes but I would say in general, I’m digging the twists and turns and it keeps my interest.

One complaint about the timing of the flashback from 1986…. Kiefer and I are the same age. In the 1986 flashback, he was shown as a child, maybe middle school (didn’t seem even close to high school). I was in college in 1986, so that made me laugh.

  2. A couple thoughts in no particular order:

    1. It was great to have an Iris-free episode. She just drags the show down.

    2.  I very oddly feel sorry for Bunny.

    3. I find it hilarious that Milo is just hanging out, in the town where he was imprisoned, without any concern of being found out.

    4. I too would like to know Mike & Bunny's backstory.

  3. I liked the COTW but admittedly fast forwarded through a couple of the more graphic scenes. Just didn't want to see them.

I agree with @CrystalBlue - One of the highlights for me was the absence of Noah! He can stay upstate with his half brother for all I care.

Unpopular opinion - I liked the bucket hat! Have I worn one since maybe 2000? Nope, but they keep the head warm and I can appreciate it.

All this fuss about Velasco. I am surprised anyone batted a lash. Based on my criminal justice degree from L&O, Criminal Minds, Chicago PD, ID, etc., cops lie and stretch the truth all the time to make a connection with a suspect and/or scare the. Not sure why Benson et al are taking it at all seriously. Guess we'll find out.

  4. When Jet's wig was pulled off, I was like oh FFS, just play it off. So many women these days where extensions and even wigs. All she had to do was say oh crap, now you know I have short hair, I'm trying to grow it out! Please, it's not even a different color, so it's not a big disguise. She's not ready for UC. And yeh, she's falling for him. Or at least very intrigued by him.

I think Jack the dog should have an "Emotional Support Dog" vest on him. That would be funny. The hand scene didn't turn my stomach, it was all so silly anyway, he's walking down the street holding a human hand.

This show is silly, why do I continue to watch? I had hoped for much more for a Stabler-centric show.

What I would like to know is how can Stabler be "undercover" still? I'm sure his face was splashed on the news when Kathleen was blown up by a car bomb. He went undercover with the Armenians (I think I have the right nationality). Hell, he even went undercover within the NYPD. Now he's undercover again. NYC is big, but not that big. Word gets around. Write smarter please.

  5. I’m totally hate-watching this show now. It’s ridiculous. Where do I begin?
    1. Keith’s DNA would already be in the database. He was a missing kid, they would have loaded his DNA in so that if leads were to come in (dead kid, live kid) across the country, there would already be DNA in the system to match.
    2. Hair from a baby book? Don’t you need the root of the hair (not the hair from a first haircut) to get DNA? That’s what Law & Order University has taught me.
    3. They catch the guy and his car for the 2nd kidnapping, and they don’t think to check the backseat or the trunk (where they knew that’s where he put the first girl in) right away? It’s only after she’s screaming as the car catches fire?

    4. Could the divorced couple cut down on the PDA in the office? Convenient that every time they touch, the fiancé happens to be watching from the second floor.

    5. Stupid closet sex scene. If I wanted to see people having sex during work in a supply closet, I would just watch Gray’s Anatomy.
    The End.

  6. Totally sick of all the dramatics and whining from the crew, and I have been for a long while (yet I keep watching.... go figure!)

Kyle is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not going to say his ankle wasn't painful (I've done the same thing to mine) but to just keep laying there face down on the floor, and the others running to him and putting a cold compress on his forehead, a blanket around him, etc. and Kyle whining the whole time was OTT.

Am sorry but the Sean’s actor isn’t easy on the eyes.

OK, so I'm not the only one. Speaking of eyes, all I could think is that the actor would be a good fit in a "The Hills Have Eyes" movie.

I'm going to hell. I know.

    S02•E05 - Yesterday’s Miracle

An interesting case with a predictable twist!

Great instinct Vo for not believing Cosmina. She should be charged for wasting police resources in searching for the baby’s body in the river.

The Palmers finally got their happy ending. ❤️

They did get their happy ending -- but was that supposed to be a newborn? I know it was probably 1-2 weeks after birth that they found the baby, but he looked huge when they passed him (I think this is right, I think the baby was a boy) into their arms!

  9. Sooooo...... am I the only person watching this now? I generally like the show, I've always liked Jason, Steve and Dave.

I don't think Shari brings anything to the show. Not. One. Thing. She has no personality. And someone needs to tell her that heavy black under eye eyeliner is doing her no favors. Yes, superficial, but that's all I got for the moment.

Such a relief for viewers to see Magda go...captain was way nice about it...

THIS! Magda felt like Aesha was picking on her and that it was personal. Jason should have told her that after being spoken to repeatedly about her phone usage, her distraction, poor quality of work, and piss poor attitude, she’s fired.

The extreme rules set by Sharna and Mark are another example.  Most of the rules are ridiculous, and a man who was not dependent on S&M's goodwill would be right to challenge them.

The abbreviation "S&M" for Sharna and Mark just cracks me up. They are absolutely ridiculous. And freaky/off-putting in LDS/Big Love kind of way, although I'm sure there's no big love among them.

And as @MrBuhBye said upthread, have these 2 not heard of ice trays? Who the HELL would go through all the trouble to stow an electric ice maker down in the basement and bring it up and down all the time. And to stop someone from using it?

I think Bill should shack up with the neighbor who sneaks him meat. Yes, I just typed that.

  12. I haven't watched all of the Tell Alls, so I'm popping in to read up on stuff. I actually fell and fractured my nose yesterday, so I was flat out on the couch last night with an ice pack over my entire face listening to some of the Tell All.

As usual, Shawn is useless. Personally, I think I'd like to see Cami from Catfish host. She doesn't hold back and tells it like it is.

    OK, back to icing.....

  13. This is the quickest show for me to watch because I record it and fast forward through the flashbacks. I get the general gist of their background, I don't need to see it as I'm much more interested in present day and how this is all going to wrap up.

I think J tampered with the getaway cars and is not planning to get involved in Pope's breakout from the transport. I also don't think he wants for one minute to run away with Penny. She was useful, she got his illegal shenanigans done by falsifying notarized documents, he doesn't need her anymore.

I do feel bad, in a way, for Deran and Craig, now that all their money is gone (well, all but $10!). J is really sticking it to the entire family in his revenge for his mom plot.

We were all sympathetic for Smurf her final season on the show. They all took care of her. But let’s face it she was a certified piece of shlit

People were sympathetic for Smurf in her final season? Personally speaking, I never had a shred of sympathy for her. She's always been a manipulative POS.

  14. As others have said, the thought of someone else going through my clothes and unpacking/packing for me absolutely skeeves me out.

And, I can't stand the double standard. If it was a group of guys who requested that their dinner be served by women in bikinis/skimpy clothing, I think people would have a problem with that. Can you imagine the female stews gyrating on male guests? There would be complaints galore.

If my friends and I went on a private yacht cruise, the preference sheets would include: 1. Great food 2. Great drinks 3. Water activities 4. No tacky "theme" parties 5. No tacky tablescapes 6. No tacky decorations 7. Plenty of snacks 8. Clean sheets and towels 9. A visit to a beach with some snacks and drinks, not a full on meal with sand everywhere.

We would never be invited to be on Below Deck. No tackiness or drama.

Unfortunately, he appears to be Bilal's Mini-Me in both looks and mannerisms (but without the Hood Bougie background story.)

Bilal's probably holding on to the old house so that when his Mini-Me finds the "love of his life," his son can pull the same "prank" as Bilal did Sheeda to determine if she's a gold digger. You know, like passing down a family heirloom.

  17. I continue to fast forward through any flashbacks. I may be missing things but it doesn't add anything to the show.

Plus, I can't stand Smurf's interactions with the boys that to me, has always felt downright incestuous. Has always given me the creeps from Episode 1. There's a double standard though, I don't think that would be tolerated if Smurf was the dad and the boys were girls. Just sayin'.

Back to the show -- I think Pope has a plan and a scheme, we all saw his slight smile/smirk when he was tossed into solitary. He may be off kilter, but he's smart.

And what was this about saying she thought her parents were proud of her?

Thanks for the reminder. Actually, her mom TOLD Emily that she was proud of her.

I was like "for what?" Making bad decisions, not taking accountability, failure to launch, being a bitch, whipping her boob out at any given moment, embarrassing her husband and constantly putting him down?

    That's a keeper, Kobe. NOT.

And yes, he'd probably have a nice retirement.  Oh wait, he's not only supporting himself and his wife, but his do-nothing daughter.  And her new husband.  And their baby.  And their upcoming baby.

That's a lot of peeps to take care of, while watching your retirement savings drain away.

I actually blame him & his wife, for enabling their attitudinous daughter.  Emily is one of the most spoiled, self-serving people we've seen on this show.

Emily is terrible all around! Not one word of "no, dad, we don't expect you to delay your retirement on account of us." Emily just sat there looking at everyone like she just announced that she's expecting an order from Amazon, not expecting ANOTHER unplanned baby.

I hope she gets destroyed at the Tell All, along wit Ari, Billal - hell, everyone!

Jibri has hideous neck tattoos.  Granted, a collared shirt would also cover that up, but he'd have to button it.

I don't think the neck tattoos have anything to do with wearing a turtleneck. Usually people with really visible tattoos like Jibri are proud to display them. No shade towards tattoos - I'm not a fan of neck/face/hand tats, but that's just me.

Anyway, I just think the turtleneck was part of the "look" Jibri was going for. I don't care for his style, it always looks like he's not wearing it because he thinks it looks nice, he's wearing it to hopefully grab attention from others.
