It may have been Christina. She was put in the hospital for a month and lost nothing because her entire family spent all day hanging around the hospital room feeding her garbage. Dr Now removed the lymphedema to encourage her to move because with her family of enablers she was never going to lose any weight. A side note.....her family was just ridiculous with the enabling and not one of them seemed to have a job or do anything productive all day. I have no idea how they all got by financially but it was a seriously weird dynamic. She did go on to be one of the most successful patients however.

DH works for an airline. A few years ago one of his fellow pilots was diagnosed with a rare cancer. After traditional treatments the only option was experimental. They had burned through savings etc. Over $150,000 was raised on GoFundMe to pay for the treatment which was well over $100K. I don’t begrudge GoFundMe requests like this or the skin removal. I had a tummy tuck a couple years ago (pregnancy related) and it was just under $10K which I paid out of pocket. It made a huge improvement in how I felt about myself and I wasn’t having any of the medical issues that would come from loose skin on people who have lost hundreds of pounds. I just had a flabby belly. I can imagine how much of a benefit skin removal would be after weight loss like this both physically and mentally. Nobody has to contribute if they don’t want to. My cousins daughter had one up for a trip to go do some conservation type work. It sounded like a vacation to me. I did not donate. ?‍♀️

The show should have spelled out the whole scenario in no uncertain terms. I’ll admit I was half asleep while watching and missed the part when she ignored the kid, but I think the show has a responsibility to it’s viewers and the people who might feel sorry for these 2, to spell out exactly what is going on and that she in fact, does not have cancer. The show has been their vehicle to scam people. They need to be crystal clear WTF is going on so that the sympathizers who send these idiots money and gifts understand they have been scammed. I know most can figure it out but anyone dumb enough to send them money needs it spelled out clearly. Outrageous. The medical team also needs to be working behind the scenes to ensure the safety of that baby. No theatrics for the show...just make sure that baby is safe. I try not to participate in the phony indignation on these boards over much of the shit that goes on here during these shows but that kid and the situation....REAL LIFE.....and it’s disgusting.

I’m still watching this episode however......Preston. We are watching this poor baby start his life with these two idiots at the helm. Good grief. I can’t figure out WTF is going on. Why is Josh so pissed about Dr Now’s questions? You would think he would be very happy to learn that his wife “misunderstood” the “oncologist” because I guarantee there was no appointment where she was told she had cancer. She was just deflated during that whole scene and Josh was hella mad. I even thought Dr Now was pretty careful in the way he was questioning rather than his usual brusqueness. I have no idea if Josh was mad because he was lied to or if Now was announcing to the world that whatever scam these two are running is now exposed or what. I didn’t understand all the adversarial voiceovers either. You don’t like Dr Now or the questions....stay home. Refuse filming. Stop cashing the checks. Stop milking your “fans” for cash and prizes. She was so full of shit and they are both flat out stupid. Regardless.... All I could think about was that poor poor child and his future. Poor baby. Ugh.

Yeah for me it’s New York Super Fudge Chunk...or the one with caramel in the middle. I think there is supposed to be 4 servings in that container LOLOLOL. Havent bought any in a very long time.

Meh...I honestly don’t care enough to get into hours long pissing contests with the self appointed defenders of all the assorted excuses there are for being morbidly obese. If you read long enough you will notice the same names pop up repeatedly on both sides of the issue. I find it a bit unhinged that anyone (on both sides) spends that much time on a show FB page repeating the same thing over and over dozens of time arguing and bickering with each other. Maybe they feel powerless in real life and FB is the only place where they can tell someone who is calling them fat to eff off.....no idea. I don’t get the impression that they are particularly happy. There is nothing I’m going to say that will change anyone’s mind. I’m also not interested in having these people hounding me via messenger or whatever. I know there have been harassment issues in the past.

It is weird that she posts all of these 30 second workout clips (and I believe that is the extent of the “working out”) yet you never see the diet portion at all.....and we all know why. Meh...it’s just not interesting to me anymore.

Her FB page is so ridiculous. So many of the posts are reported or removed, following the comments are impossible. The ones left are arguing with posts that aren’t even there. Why wouldn’t you just eliminate all the comments.... All that is left are the “you go girl” “ignore the haterz” (sic) and the endless excuses why some people just can’t lose weight no matter what...even if they just eat lettuce and drink water. I don’t know why she doesn’t just make her page private, so all her fans can just stroke her ego to their hearts content without having the disruption of people who don’t buy into the bullshit she is selling. Of course that would mean less attention and what else are her fans gonna do all day besides defend her honor. It’s not like she really ever has anything going on in her life other than that scripted crap on TV and the cruise. Of course that does leave plenty of free time to go through the FB posts and eliminate one by one the ones she doesn’t like.

I can’t say I ever really talked about my period to anyone other than my husband and even that wasn’t a regular occurrence. What exactly is the point of talking about them? My hot flashes on the other hand....EVERYONE in my house gets to share in that misery.......

I went to France last May. I heard the term “flying buttress” more in that 2 weeks than I have in a lifetime. I’m just excited that I didn’t have to look it up lol.

Jeez, my ice cream binge is a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. She’s got one of those warehouse club 5 gallon buckets meant for an entire classroom (and parents) party. And why is she hiding in her car? It would never occur to me to go to the local park to gorge myself on food. Weird.
