I had a bad feeling back when Alicia decided to go for SA - I didn't want to watch a season of campaigning that isn't Veep. Then there were more quality control warning signs, including the episode where they won a case using a torrent website's HELPLINE - those pirates sure give good customer service! But the real moment it lost all credibility for me - the final straw (or zip-up blazer, as it were) - was when Alicia used that door as a table extender. You're a cashed-up lawyer not a dude-bro start-up - GO BUY A BIG FUCKING DESK. FFS. As for Kalinda's last scene with Alicia, an Orphan Black clones shot is far more convincing. Hey, maybe AP and JM are the same person...

I can bite my tongue no longer. GENE BELCHER IS AWESOME. Stop with the hate, Dave. Without Gene, we would never have had Die Hard the musical. Or his magical friendship with the talking toilet, voiced by Jon Hamm. Louise and Tina are amazing but Gene has his place too - and it's not as the Pierce of Bob's Burgers. He is delightful. I am not a crackpot.

I really do not want Alicia to run. I don't want to watch a campaign for a season. Why are they moving on so quickly from the totally badass plot thread of Alicia and Diane co-ruling Chicago law/the world?

Loved this and the whole season. I loved BFF but this was even stronger. More please!

I was pretty unhappy with the plot choice made in this episode, at first. It left me cold. But now I'm extremely curious to see how the show handles things in the aftermath and beyond. I do enjoy how these writers aren't afraid to get themselves into knots and then figure out the consequences - the way they tore things down by starting Florrick/Agos was exciting and a real invigoration of the show. On the other hand, we all saw how things turned out when we finally met Kalinda's husband. Still, they managed to write their way out of that one too, so if anyone can make this new scenario work, it's these guys. Or this could be the bit where The Good Wife jumps the shark.
