  1. We all used to sit back and make fun of this show, acceptable behavior on our part. We watched a show, hoping to be entertained and, yes, even educated on the reality of living off the grid and in the wilds of Alaska. When we realized that we were being taken for a spin on the crazy train, we readjusted and brought out the guns to show how stupid, lame and senseless this production was and still is. I will never stop shooting holes in this show, I was fooled into believing (from their advertising) that it was going to be a somewhat sensible show, after 3 episodes I started to write WTF recaps. Ain't nothin' going to stop me now till this idiocy is permanently banned from television. If faking cancer is acceptable, then what is next ? And the band of viewers who actually believe these scammers makes you wonder what has this country evolved into. Is my next door neighbor sending in a donation to the Browns ? Beden is right, from having fun to serious discussions on a TV forums page is quite the step, a scary step... I have been thinking of writing a recap of the whole cancer season episodes, with the reaction from various FB pages and other social media sites. It would not be pretty.... @AZChristian, thanks for your comment, I'll be OK...
  2. Well said Beden...Well said.... My own 2 cents - My beloved Pop died of lung cancer, never heard him complain once... He did say to me he was sorry for smoking cigs. I also have had my little cancer scare, surgery on the neck to remove a malignant tumor and then radiation therapy for 6 weeks. Pure hell. Scared me and my family to death, they were so supportive that it changed my life forever. Now as I sit here writing this, I am in the throes of another tumor under my arm, causing pain and immobility of my arm. Thank the sweet Lord it is benign, but again surgery is the only reasonable treatment (the meds I tried did not react with the tumor). Waiting for my two highly certified surgeons to call me and set up a schedule to remove this growth, and the chances of it coming back are 50-50... Lovely... Billy and Discovery, and all their children, and all the cameramen and editors and producers and anyone affiliated with this show, should be ashamed of themselves and demanded to apologize to the American people for such a poorly conceived and horribly written chapter of this show. What in the hell were they thinking ? Mom is dying in the bedroom and the idiot children are in the backyard in front of a camera acting like the idiots they are...completely unforgivable. And now she is cured... wow, what a load of BS...
  3. I believe all of them have some sort of cancer of the truth, mixed in with an infection of the morality, along with a diseased based reality.... The only one on that show with any sort of believability is Mr Cupcake, and 'he' is most probably a 'she'.... more
  4. galavanting... I put that one in my notebook for future use... thanks thebigboot.... haha
  5. As the cable networks scramble desperately for viewers who have migrated to Netflix and Hulu and Amazon, the shows that are presented become more and more off the edge. Do you want to see southern trash making moonshine and acting completely goofy, watch 'Moonshiners'... You want to see a father and son search the world for gold in the most unbelievable situations, watch 'Gold Rush'... Need a fix to watch naked people running around afraid, watch 'Naked and Afraid'... And of course the top of the heap of garbage is the insane antics of the ABP and their dying, but now fully recovered, mommy... pure bullcrap, and it actually makes you wonder what is next. Noah becomes the sheriff of Montrose, Iowa ? Rain becomes a singing celebrity ? Cupcake saves Lassie ? Billy tells the truth while working a real job ? Anything is now possible for this fantasy world of the Browns.... And of course we still have the question of why in the world they hang onto this ridiculous title of the show... They are no longer in Alaska, they aren't anywhere near the bush, and calling them people is like calling Bear fundamentally sane.... more...
  6. Well put... the last half dozen shows have been a 'look back' at the good ole times or whatever they want to call them... I imagine they show them so they can still call the show Alaska Bush People...
  7. My DVR says 'new' episode on Friday 15th, I've been suckered before... haha But it also says the X-mas (in July) episode (which is probably from last year) is showing a few days later, and then another Brown Xmas after that... There were two X-mas episodes so far if I recall, one where the friends from down south came to visit and another were the kids (adults ??) made the god awful gifts for each other... and maybe even an earlier one where they went looking for the perfect Christmas tree, I think they made a big freakin deal out of it where Bear climbed the tree, and then Gabe cut it down... Of course all the X-mas episodes were filmed in the summer, (no snow, running around in t shirts), so they could get out of Alaska before the winter hit and they would have all died from exposure and extreme stupidity...
  8. Talked to Railing Kill and all is back to normal... railing kill OK... $5,000... or is that still too high... haha More
  9. Can't find 'Railing Kill' website any longer... had it bookmarked and now it is a '3D Tour Map' page... WTF... And that house will be worth about $25,000 when the Brown family leaves....
  10. Ahhh, thanks... must have forgot that scene, or was busy making popcorn... I do remember the shower though... Still don't believe for a second they actually ever lived there full time, I'll ask the folks at ABPE and see what they have heard...hahahahaha ?
  11. Cancer or not... I find it very hard to believe that DC would even attempt to make this horrible stuff up, imagine the firestorm if it was found out they made it up for ratings... Even the loyal sheep fans would revolt. Lots of cancer survivors out there...Lots... Do the boys live with mommy and daddy, did they ever ? Yeah, probably, till they were old enough to escape. Filming as a 'family' in a remote Alaskan location is basically fiction in my view, everything presented on the show even points to that. What self respecting adult lives in a shack made of tires, or a tree house that appears to made by a 10 year old, and expects any kind of dignity from others ? Even by their standards it seems rather absurd. DC even admits that what is shown on the show is basically a reenactment of times gone by, be it a very goofy reenactment. I mean, for all the scenes watched and filmed, I never once saw any sort of an outhouse or port a potty, what did they do, hold it all in till they get on the boat ? I am waiting like everyone else who follows this show, to see where it will now lead. IMO they have painted themselves into a corner, no matter what is presented now will look rather scripted, far more scripted than before, to please the huge base of fans out there who are really concerned for Ami and really believe all the crap that is portrayed. For the rest of us it is all comic fodder to be made fun of, ridiculed and blasted for it's never ending abuse of the term 'reality show'.... More...?
  12. I did not realize that so much is going on behind the scenes of these morons. I stopped following the so called 'updates' and 'news' as it seemed to be totally unreliable and pretty much put out by the DC and the Brown family. And I found the ABPE FB group to be somewhat of an enigma, only one person can post to the main timeline, and if you try to add info, you will be told that you are wrong, they are right, and then after awhile, kick you out of their little group. Checking into their group was frustrating to say the least. Now I only watch the shows they broadcast and take it from there, whatever they show on TV is gospel in my eyes and fair game to comment on, good or bad. That is why I decided to create my own Reality Observer website to do the recaps, my own FB page to post silly photoshopped images I create, and my You Tube site to post my absurd videos that completely make fun of the Brown family, among other things. And on all of these sites/pages, anyone is welcome to come visit and post whatever comments or views they want. Yeah, if you are offensive and crude, I will show you the door, but so far so good. So now I gather Billy is sick, owes money, Ami may or may not have cancer and the kids are scattered... I have heard from someone that Rain is giving advice on her Instagram site and trying to sing songs or something... Oh well...... And I am always grateful for the folks here at Previously.TV Forums for the chance to be heard... More....
  13. Haha... Let's see what Colorado has to say about that... The state will probably hire a lawyer and have the name 'Colorado' copyrighted and trademarked so they can't without paying a fee... haha
  14. The last bit of dignity from the Browns have left the building... My recap from tonite's show - a double header... 8-23-2017 click here
  15. Too hot... uh-huh... Compared to the frozen netherlands in the wild of Alaska, anywhere else is too hot. And the long sleeve shirt he constantly has on is just making it hotter I am sure, with the jingle jangle mess of 'bear's' claws, or teeth, around his neck all the time makes him look pretty silly. You know what I do when it get's hot ? Turn on a fan or the air conditioner... Being that he never seems to venture off the bed, it is a fair guess he has no idea if it is Friday or Sunday, let alone July or January... Who owns the house ? Good question, I hope they got a deposit. Probably the same imaginary 'friend' who owns the land in Colorado that he is 'letting' them use... He did mention in passing that he wants the same kinda environment to move to that they had in Alaska, trees, privacy, no one around to intrude on their cult way of life... But honestly, would you let Noah work on anything you own ? After the garbage he produced in Browntown, I wouldn't let him make coffee for me... Like I mentioned in my recap, I would love to see him rebuild the t***** on that thing, or set the timing, he wouldn't know where to start... probably start by checking the tires... I don't know how to do those things, but I don't go around claiming I can fix anything that goes wrong with my vehicle. I know what you mean RMONTRO, cars back then were simpler pieces of machinery, but here is a guy who lived in the wild for 24 years, and just by intuition he can repair classic cars ? If so, he really is an Eddy Einstein.... Yeah, that is still a delicate issue. I see it as a stall to draw viewers, whatever she needed to be done, is already done, it just won't be presented till next season. But if you rely on the shows presentation this season, why not explain it in a way that makes sense... Going back and forth to the doctor without getting anything done seems rather 'unmedical', if there is a concern about the weight ( which has been mentioned on the show ), just say it, 'medical treatment has been delayed until the lady gains the proper weight'. I just said it, pretty easy... They seem to beat around the bush with it, in a vague, unclear way, and expect us to assume things that may or may not be what is really happening. Or maybe she did die, and the Ami we see is just CGI that an intern on the show provided... I mean, we could beat this to death... and we are...haha
  16. Thanks BRGJOE.... Chemo and radiation treatments for various cancers are (I presume) different for each individual. I am by no means a medical authority. In my case I had a cancerous tumor in (on?) my lymph node on the right side of my neck, right below the chin, below the right ear. No pain, no discomfort. Had it checked by a specialist on Thursday, I was operated on to remove it on Tuesday. Radiation treatment (no chemo) started after my surgery incisions healed somewhat, about 5 weeks later, continued every day for 6 weeks (except weekends). Worst part was the effects from radiation, food tasted like crap, it was just hard to eat, lost weight every week. That is just my take on having cancer. What is going on with Ami is probably legit, I just have to recap on what is presented on TV, on their program 'ABP'. It just seems that nothing in the last month and a half (TV time) is going on, and I wondered what was the hold up. Lot's of medical visits and tests and scans, if all this took place in a week, OK... if not, seems kinda fishy... And now with the 'Let's run off to Colorado to look at land an imaginary friend is giving us', in a new RV, with Bear riding 'Teen Wolf' on top, with a lady in dire need of medical observation is IMO just ludicrous ... The costs associated with medical treatment for cancer are enormous, taking a road trip seems rather foolish at this point... But I am not surprised, as this show continues to dwell deeper and deeper into an absolute unbelievable pile of bear crap, that they try to pan off as the truth...
  17. Possibly, you realize it was only Billy and Bam who were convicted. And I assume if it was a felony ,they are prohibited from owning firearms. I don't know if it was a felony or a misdemeanor, but still the idea of these fools running around with guns is frightening.... That was funny... Mike Myers was great in that skit... Calling Kidman the devil and then running down the street with the playground equipment still chained to him was classic SNL...
