  1. i got FJ right. Finally.

I got the missed clues of All the Light We Cannot See (after the wrong answer) and vanishing point.

I got the entire categories of animal groups and accet aigu right and the entire category of American history wrong, which is considerably shameful because that's a category I usually do fairly well at.  I almost said TVA, but said FEMA instead, I thought 1790 was too obvious so went with 1810, and would have gotten Lee's Miserables if I had had 2 more seconds.

  2. I said Thoreau.

i got the missed clues of Edinburgh, Michael Connelly (sp?), James Patterson, MadTV, ignominy and Rolex.

I got the entire category of ette right.

I keep doing fairly well in the first round and blowing it in the second and then missing final.

  3. I went generic and said the Reya Islands.  I was more leaning towards Juana than Isabella, but Spanish queens are not my forte.

I got the missed clues of 452, Santa's little Helper, 500 and Data.

I got the entire categories of B and TV pets right.

  4. I said the Godfather.  My second choice was going to be Ghostbusters.  Don't know why other than those darn proton packs can get a little dicey.

I got the missed clues of amethyst, bumblebee, eyewitness, Belfast and legerdemain.

I got the entire categories of birthstone and cat's song right (I waited in vain for Smelly Cat or Soft Kitty).

  5. I was thinking about saying Fantasia,, but for some reason decided they wanted a live action so said Mary Poppins.

I got the missed clues of sulphuric acid, monsoon, pride, CFCs, Main in the Iron Mask and Peter.

I got the entire category of princes right.

  6. I read the Lightning Thief, and I've read no Harry Potter, but I was pretty sure Harry Potter and the Half-Blood prince was one of the books. So, I actually thought it would be a different character in those books, but not knowing who, I just said Harry Potter.

I got the missed clues of Ida and Lichtenstein.

Better night than last night, but it would have been hard not to have been.

  7. I said the Hindenburg.  It was better than the Challenger because at least it happened before 1970 whatever year was in the clue.  I  look for the upsides to my wrong answers.

I got the m issed clues of Joe Louis, mug, Balderdash, and stroke.  Not a good night.

  8. I got FJ.  Mostly because I don't know any other British drummers.

I got the missed clues of orange and knight.

Not a bad game, not a great game.

Couldn't watch because I went to play trivia last night.  We came in 2 out of 2.  And neither team had a particularly impressive score.

I got the missed clues of giggling and A Christmas Carol.

And I got the entire categories of 4 consonants and Day right and the entire category of Jams wrong.

Much better night than last night.

In response to increased reckless driving and deaths resulting from it, Connecticut has come out with this public service ad. Too bad it actually makes reckless driving look appealing. What they need to do is show someone's head split open that died from reckless driving. Do these people have one ounce of common sense?

Yeah, that's crazy. Not one bad thing happened from that aggressive driving. The driver just cut through like he was playing a game of Frogger and probably got where he was going faster.  Sure, I think the "game over" was supposed to signify a crash, and maybe  a death, but way too subtle.

I might be wrong but I think she's aware of that too. She probably blamed being uphappy and scripts and probably reviews. It just went on way too long with the same and then the changes were too severe.

I think the scripts had a lot to do with this.  When she first married Almonzo, it was like she was playing house instead of newly married.  They had her getting married way too young.  She went from child in braids still getting into shenanigans to being a wife in about a year.

  12. I said I don't know some kind of sloth for FJ.  I was a little worried when giant sloth was an answer because I didn't know if I could give that to me. But, then ti was wrong, so it didn't matter.

I got the missed clues of arm, cut and dried, Carol Burnett Show, pulse, cholesterol, and hubris.

I got the entire categories of crack and tick tock.

  13. If I had known Tonto National Park existed I would have totally gotten FJ.

I got the missed clues of true blue, Yellowstone, onus, and jellyfish.

I got the entire category of call me right.

I said Sancho Panza instead of Pancho Villa.  I crack myself up.

  14. I had no idea on FJ. The only thing I could think of that happened in 1881 was Garfield's assassination and that obviously got me nowhere.

I got the missed clues of Leaping Lizards, Scream, Gerald Ford, lark, rob, and Scylla.

I got the entire cateegory of greek myth right and writers-directors wrong (was pretty sure I would when I saw the category).

  15. I got FJ but I was by no means confident.

I got the missed clues of A Christmas Story, Tina Turner, Sorry, contrite, cottonmouth, dogwood and J Edgar Hoover (complete, wild guess).  On FB, people were saying there are so many triple stumpers because the clues are unclear, but I've been getting a lot of them, and the ones I haven't been getting aren't because I didn't understand the clue. So, not sure what other people are seeing with the clues.

I got the entire categories of state holidays, stars we lost, apologies, and mouth to mouth right and the entire category of movie sound tracks wrong.

  16. I got FJ right.

I got the missed clues of quarantine, gopher (after prairie dog), dormouse, cauldron, Henry VIII, ruby, Fort Bliss, and Fanny Bryce.

I got the entire category of rodents right and law wrong.

  17. i said Fleetwood Mac.  I had no confidence in myself with that category and I was right as far as that was concerned.

i got the missed clues of stalctite (mnemonic device of c from celing, g from ground), lifeguard (what other beach jobs are there), The Stand, Centerfold and The  Cutting Edge (love that movie).

I got the entire categories of bookstore and nude right.  That's a weird combo.

hate John Irving almost as much as I hate John Steinbeck, and I have successfully eliminated all memories of having read any Irving, so I did not get FJ today.

I'm with you on John Irving, but barring The Grapes of Wrath, I like Steinbeck (not love, mind you, but like).

  19. FJ was an instaget. Hate that book.

i got the missed clues of lurk and hymnology

I got the entire category of cinema wrong.

i didn't think it was possible, but I had an even worse DJ than I did the other night. The only category i got more than 2 right in was US place names.  And as mentioned I got a whole category wrong and only got the $400 in opera.
