Still despising Bubba Gump, although his presence was minimal.
It's like he's the same character he played in Chicago PD. I've grown to despise him too which usually doesn't happen even when someone plays bad guys mostly.

Dennis Leary saves Stabler's life and then he finds out his dad's heroism was a fraud. This is not going to end well.
Stabler was crushed! It was the one decent memory he had of his dad.

My interpretation of the end is that Anna is following Voight's directions and getting closer to Escano by replacing Joshua as his runner. Earlier in the episode they said that they couldn't trace Joshua because he goes to the same parking lot all the time, but repeatedly leaves in different cars. I think the end was showing Anna getting into one of those cars as the new runner.
Thank you!! That makes sense.

This episode just annoyed me from start to finish!😄

These episodes move so quick, I usually watch twice, lol. So refreshing from the protracted drama on SVU over nothing!

As was I. But how is she able to drive around in late model Lexus? So, I'm assuming the car and the money belonged to Escano. Although from what we've seen in the past he does some sort of business using the pink bakery boxes. Therefore I'm even more confused.
Thanks! I really thought I missed something!😄

At the beginning I was just hoping Anna would be found out and we would be done with her. This storyline bores me.
By the end of the episode I was feeling sorry for her. She's right. Everybody uses her. I can't see the ending for her being anything but bad.
I kind of felt sorry for Hank too. The conversation in his house was quite telling.
Absolutely! Anna was really trying to do the right thing. Voight is Voight and it takes a whole lot to make me feel bad for him, but that job is all he has.
I was confused at the end. Was Anna making a drop for Escano? Was Voight paying her off? Are we supposed to be left guessing or did I just go blond for a minute?

Is there a medical drama trope that if an infant needs a transplant, the next baby who comes in will die?
That was so freakin contrived! You knew what would happen from the jump! UGH!

So glad Theo turned out to be a good guy!! It would have been so out of character from what we've seen to make him involved. I think he and his wife will be able to have a relationship with Makayla now.

Looks like Milenia has a guest spot next week too!! For us Hightower fans, she is basically playing Renee 2.0. Decent episode. Torn about Will reconsidering the donation money. I like that he didn't like being goaded into it, but it does seem sort of messed up that he profits from it. Still on the fence about that................

Does anyone think there's any chance of no more Makayla? I shudder to think they would kill her off and I love that little girl, but with this show being a misery convention, they might go there😓

I don’t trust the writers to let Wheatley stay dead.
Exactly! Why wouldn't they find his body? They are leaving themselves a door to open and that door needs to be nailed shut with heavy furniture in front of it😄

OK, I was one of the few who didn't mind Wheatley and even I'm sick of him! So overdone and dragged out! UGH!
Can someone refresh my memory on Wheatley's current wife? What happened to her? I thought he was divorced from Angela and remarried?

WOW!! IRL life, she would have never retained custody I don't think but I was happy for them as they are fictional characters. But that ending!!! Are we supposed to thing the uncle is behind it? Maybe not so different than his brother? If these were real people, that poor child!

The 911 call in the opening was about her. The bike messenger ran her down, but she pushed the baby's stroller out of the way.
Thank you!! I must have been multi-tasking😄

I'm actually kind of enjoying this, as ridiculous and over the top as it is.
Totally ridiculous and over the top, but I watched it twice😂

This show can be cheesy, but I'm pained to admit that I got choked up quite a few times. It was a really good episode! Do we know what happened to TK's mom? If they explained it, I missed it.

I just watched the pilot and am intrigued. Never watched Blacklist or Blindspot and knew nothing about the plot of this. It will probably get stupid quickly, but I liked it enough to watch the new episode tonight.

A little off topic, but I saw Sam Waterston on Stephen Colbert last night and he's 81! I am guessing he won't be playing a major part in this show. A couple short scenes and a set up to hand over the reigns is my guess.

I wonder if no Finn because he's doing so many commercials?!? I swear, it's like he's in every one I see lately!

Carisi is not the father to either. You have the fathers correct. Maybe it's sort of the stepdaddy equivalent, which is nauseating in and of itself.
(Sorry, but I just don't like the pairing, probably because I don't like Rollins.)
Thank you!! I half watch sometimes, but I think I would have remembered that, lol.
I don't like them together either and in real life, he would never be involved with her. He's old school and she's not the one you take home to meet the family.

So Carisi is Rollin's kid's father? I thought her kids were fathered by Declan and the d-bag doctor? Or are they doing a convenient history rewrite?

That is funny!! And right before I saw this post, I read your earlier one and and initially thought "I didn't post that"😄

While Carey is still pretty, she doesn’t look like herself. It’s not plastic surgery gone bad; it’s plastic surgery gone weird.
I don't think she had anything done as her neck looks like an 80 year old woman. I think she just aged and looks like the 61 she is.

S06.E09: The Hill
in This Is Us
I didn't read all the comments so someone probably said this already, but they are so obviously headed for divorce court, so moving to SF, just means Kate will be totally alone in a city she doesn't want to be in when they split.
I think Kate just resents that Toby got his shit together and is happy now and her weight loss efforts have failed. As someone who used to be very overweight and lost it to get to a healthy weight, it really changes you. He has decided his path going forward and it's just not going to align with hers.
