Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
NeelyO replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
I was very surprised to read this morning that Frankie is telling everyone he's putting Zach on the block. I was wondering if he was just covering until he announced at the veto meeting that Derrick was the actual nominee. But then I started thinking about the fact that Zach is after Frankie and Christine and despite all of Zach's attempts to suck up to Frankie, I guess Frankie still knows it to be true. Maybe he knows that although Derrick will come after him eventually, it's still too early. I also think that Frankie is really confident in his competition abilities and isn't that scared to go up against any of the others. Even if Derrick and Christine could match him in mental comps, I think Frankie beats them both in all physical ones. And Frankie definitely beats all the others in the mental comps. I dislike Frankie a lot but have to admit that so far he looks to be good at most comps. Frankie's already said that Donny and Derrick would win if either is in F2 so we know he wants them out. He can count on others to get rid of Donny and I think once Derrick's gone, Victoria will run to Frankie for protection. And I guess I can see Frankie also going after Cody early to take out Christine and Derrick's #1 ally. My guess at this point is that Frankie wants to go to the end with Victoria and then either Christine or Caleb. It could be fun hearing Victoria's and Caleb's final speeches if either makes it to F2. When Donny asked Zach who was running things, Zach said it was Frankie. Do you think Zach really believes that? If yes, I have to continue to give credit to Derrick for remaining under everyone's radar. In reading the reactions to the zings, I'm a little surprised at Derrick. Is it possible for him to have gone through life so far not knowing that people in general would rate his facial features as unattractive? And when his housemates reassured him by saying it was in comparison with others in the house, he made some comment like "yeah, but Donny's still in the house." So strange that he thinks Donny is worse looking than he is. It's a good thing to have confidence but people can be so cruel that I was surprised that he hadn't been told many times while growing up that he wasn't a good looking kid. -

Frankie made The Soup's clip of the week. They showed his overly dramatic reaction to winning the veto comp wearing the purple jersey and Joel said "Boy, the Ravens did not draft well this year." -

A favorite comment from Derrick last night regarding someone in production rooting for Donny was "we were all underdogs coming into the house." Uh, Derrick, you were all part of an 8-person alliance beginning on Day 2. Thanks AndreaK1041 for the scoop on Zach's employment status. I had it in my head that he's just been sitting around for a year living off his parents. And I agree, he milks the unemployed thing with the way he talks about living with his parents and golfing everyday. I still think he acts like a pre-teen. When he was talking to Victoria the other day, spilling his guts, he told her about something he pulled on one of the women and Victoria said, 'you did that?" and Zach said, "Yeah, bros be...." stopping just in time as he realized he was talking to one of the ho's. -

YAY Donny!!! Zach mentioned again that if Victoria is on the block he's going to make her cry for a week. I want one of these women to tell him that as soon as he tries to do that to a guy on his way out, she won't think of him as such a pansy. I hate that he relishes the thought of harassing reserved, helpless (in the game) women and driving them to tears but wouldn't do that to a guy who could possibly get up in his face and either start getting aggressive with him or saying some embarrassing truths about him and making him look like a fool/wimp. Zach can be entertaining and I've enjoyed some of his antics, but I still think he's a spoiled, immature, attention loving, woman-hating little creep. By the way, I know Zach has said he's unemployed but does he ever say where he gets his spending money? He's been out of school for a year, right? ETA: Watching some of the feeds from last night, I was glad to hear Frankie and Zach talking about who could win at the end. They agree that both Derrick and Donny would win easily if they were in F2. Frankie knows he's got only a slim chance of winning and that makes him a good person to take to the end. Zach thinks Christine and Cody couldn't win if either was in F2 but Frankie said he wasn't sure. They aren't sure about Caleb. They think both Christine and Donny could be jury members who might be swayed by final speeches in deciding (if Christine had 2 friends in F2). This gives me more hope that if Frankie wins veto, which he very well could, he'll take a swing at Derrick. If he has Cody and Derrick on the block, I think Donny and Christine would vote to keep Cody. Zach would probably vote to keep Cody. Caleb and Vic vote to keep Derrick and Derrick goes home. I don't hate Derrick or anything but for entertainment purposes, it could be fun to watch once his influence is gone from the house. Also, Zach and Frankie agree that Donny isn't a threat to them. But for some reason, Zach still thinks Donny should be the target for next week. Hope he's just blowing smoke. -

Rihanna's brother tweeted a video of Frankie's reveal to the girls in the living room, saying "So glad I'm not like this" Saw this posted in another forum and thought it was a good representation of Frankie -

Maybe the pawn will be Caleb and he'll screw it up and win :-) I wish one of the HOH's would pull something rather than just go after Donny, I guess it could be kind of interesting to hear how they decide who to put up since there's always a chance Donny could win BOB or veto. In that case, I guess Derrick would put up Donny and Zach or Donny and Christine? Would he risk putting Victoria on the block with Donny? -
I agree!.He doesn't even need to be so over the top or camera hungry because the show shoves him down the viewers' throats anyway. Choosing his goodbye mssg to show Nicole? They barely spent any time together and definitely don't like each other. And his fake reaction to the faces in the mirror, ugh. He made a beeline to the bathroom right after Nicole saw them in the kitchen because he knew that's where they'd be (based on a previous season) and wanted that extra chance to ham it up and get more air time. I really dislike the guy. Good luck to Donny but I think he's as good as gone, despite Derrick's deep concerns about Team America :-)

After BBAD ended, there was more mocking by Donny that was so funny. Around 10:20 pm and 10:30 pm he's imitating Christine's giggle and Cody's baby talk whine. Both made me laugh. -

Yeah, I remember reading either on this forum or another that Christine was concerned that Cody hadn't touched her in days. One of those comments you don't expect to hear from someone about a friend. -

In case you haven't seen it already, here's a link to a pretty funny scene from yesterday when Nicole gave Zach a wedgie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug2LBQQALE4 ETA: I had missed that duskyliterati had already mentioned this scene. -

He's mentioned that he does use steroids and wants to get back home so he can start taking them again. Regarding the Cody and Christine thing, I agree that both may find some sort of comfort in all the cuddling and hugging and Christine is probably getting a kick out of getting so much attention from a pretty boy but I think it's "strategy" on both of their parts. Cody clearly intended to flirt as much as possible to woo all the ladies. He has mentioned when talking about keeping Nicole and Christine on their side that Nicole doesn't need all the cuddling and hugging but that Christine does. I think as someone mentioned up thread, Christine and Nicole for that matter feel comfortable with Cody in that he would never make a move or make it sexual in any way. Now why Christine is using this approach to her game play, I have no idea. Usually this type of strategy is used by the more attractive people and I think Christine realizes that she is not one of them. I think she legitimately likes him and likes the physical contact but I think she's trying to keep Cody close and firmly on her side rather than trying to have a romance with him. I do agree that they are out of line with their constant touching. Even if Christine's husband knows it's game play, it's got to hurt. He had said on twitter previously that he feels disrespected but understands that it's game play. Can you imagine if the tables were turned and it was her husband pulling this stuff with another woman? Seeing Christine's anger about small things in the house, I could see her throwing an absolute fit over it and tearing into the woman for trying to steal her man. I'd be surprised if the show went there in terms of highlighting all the hugging and touching that a married woman is doing on the show unless they included DR sessions from both of them saying it's just for game or even an interview with her husband saying that it's all for game purposes. But then again, the post above suggesting that all the recent comments might have been a result of DR questions about their relationship sounds right to me. So who knows, maybe the show will go there -

I recall that several of the others said that they were telling Caleb to play rather than sit out when they saw what the comp was but Caleb wouldn't do it. They thought he might have been swayed by the prize for the winning team. I have no idea if it's true or not but I read a comment online that the same type of game was an HOH comp during BB14. -
Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
NeelyO replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
Caleb told Frankie last night that Nicole told Victoria that Frankie knows that he'll have Victoria in his back pocket because of his sister (which he did say). Frankie later went to Victoria and said he knows that Nicole talked to her about his sister and said it was probably the lowest, most horrific thing he's ever heard. He said it was very upsetting and pretended to get really choked up about it (blech) and said that it was revolting that anyone would say he would use his sister to further his game. He said he knew someone would take something so beautiful and turn it into something ugly and toxic and evil and someone who does that will be raked across the coals. He always goes so over the top that he sounds like an idiot. Even if I didn't know he lies a lot, I would never believe anything he said because of his delivery. His social game is really shit. Not sure if Victoria bought any of it because she seemed to only be half listening and kept bringing it back to herself :-) -

NeelyO replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
Donny mentioned he could just say out loud to Derrick as he's walking out "Derrick, you have my vote" to get people thinking about jury and how well Derrick is liked. I think that would be great! I know it's dumb for Nicole to try to work with Derrick and Cody and I think she kind of knows it but doesn't see any better options. Donny has done well in BotB and veto but can't win HOHs and despises Christine. Christine hasn't been trustworthy and she knows Frankie is after her and Caleb would never even pretend to work with her. Even when there were more women in the house, if they couldn't win any HOHs, there weren't really any moves for any of them to make. Sad thing is, it looks like both Nicole and Christine are pretty good at comps. I wish they would just see the light and try to go for broke. They're not going to last too much longer and might as go trying to get out a big player. I read somewhere that Zack has lost 14 comps so far. That is really pitiful. At what point do they usually have the comp to bring back a jury member? How many HGs are left in the house at that point? If Hayden makes it back in, I hope there's someone left that he can actually try to play with. -

Donny talking to Nicole, confirming he knows that it's pretty hopeless, that he doesn't know if he could spend another week in the house listening to everyone talk about themselves, and that he's known since week 2 that a core group has been calling all the shots but could never do anything about it. He said "I quit my job to be here, how sad is that." I hadn't heard that before and I felt so bad for him -- bad enough so that if there's a vote for fan favorite, I think I'll actually vote and just hope that Frankie's sister doesn't ask for fan support for her brother. -

Nicole was telling Christine that Frankie said something like being in the house took him back to 3 years ago, when he still hung around normal people and that it was fun while it lasted. -

Yeah, now that I've had a chance to watch some of last night's feeds, I agree and think that's just what Frankie intended. In addition to his boasts about what he can do for them he told the women that if he raises enough money, he'll take them all along to Africa to build the school. This makes me dislike him even more than I did before. Why did he feel compelled to tell the women that he was a triple major who graduated summa cum laude? To warn or scare them about his superior intellect or just letting them know how all around awesome he is? -

Wow, I was away from all this for a while and come back to see that everything has changed! I haven't watched or read anything other than your posts but have a question about Frankie's social media presence. Is he just a "personality" on social media or does he own or run something? I was wondering about his use of the word "mogul." Has he explained how he makes his money? -

I didn't even think of this but could see it as a possibility. I'm not sure that Zach would purposely throw the comp at this point. He talks a big game but I think even he would realize at comp time that it wouldn't be a smart move. But Derrick probably has that already figured out as well! -

NeelyO replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
I agree about all the fake F2 deals and that it could have just been to make Caleb more comfortable with the plan to throw the comp. But I'm wondering why Derrick would make a point of telling both Nicole and Cody what a great guy Caleb is after he volunteered. I could understand him wanting to give Nicole confidence that Caleb would carry thru on his promise but I don't see the point of telling Cody all of that. I got the feeling with the Cody conversation that Derrick was priming Cody to want to go further with Caleb. I admit though that I didn't see when the task was rec'd or any conversations among the TA about it. Don't even know if it was shown. If i was Derrick, this is the task I'd pass on since it now involves Caleb. -
Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
NeelyO replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
I may have missed some stuff last night but I just find it hard to believe that Derrick would let Caleb go for the TA task. I think he definitely would have followed thru if the plan for Zach to volunteer had worked. Derrick has been protecting Caleb for a long time and working on their relationship. Last night they solidified an F2. They agreed that they'd have to cut Cody at some point but they could give him a little of the winnings for helping them get so far in the game. Derrick was also singing Caleb's praises to Cody and Nicole last night. Many have suspected that Victoria and Caleb were Derrick's picks for F3 and I'm not sure who he would replace Caleb with at this point except maybe Christine but Derrick knows he can't trust her to take him to the end. On the other hand, maybe since the entire house now hates Frankie, Derrick would consider Frankie? Except Frankie would never willingly take Derrick to F2 either, not the way Victoria and Caleb would. And all Derrick would have to tell Caleb at the end is that to pick Victoria to go to F2 with wouldn't be an honorable win. At this point I'm guessing Derrick is planning to move forward with evicting Frankie and if turns out otherwise, I'll be surprised. It may also be hard to tell what Derrick's real plan is since he could tell Frankie in advance that he got Caleb to volunteer to go up as part of the task to keep Frankie somewhat placated. It would be so funny if Derrick, Victoria and Caleb did make it to the end and somehow Derrick is shut out of F2. The jury would be horrified at having to pick between those two. Does Derrick know that Caleb told Donny about the plan to throw the comp and evict Frankie? -

Did you hear Derrick tell Donny that what Nicole was yelling about was true -- regarding she and Hayden being in an alliance with Frankie and Christine? He doesn't miss a beat. Donny's eyes bugged out but I hope he doesn't actually believe it and I hope Nicole tells him the truth about actually being in an alliance with Cody and Derrick. One of the things that bothered me most for some reason was Caleb wearing Donny's brand new overalls, sent by his family or girlfriend, knowing that he planned to evict him if he won HOH. The only saving grace was that Caleb looked like a total douche in them with that stupid head wrap. -

Oh boy, Frankie plans to be one of his characters on the show tonight. I'm cringing in anticipation. Zach claims he's going to scream at Nicole and Hayden before the HOH comp so maybe there will be some fireworks? He also says he'll never speak to Hayden again but will make Nicole cry every day. Such a brave guy..
