  1. I agree that Shanice could have handled the wig situation better, but lets not pretend that she wasn't going to get chewed out either way. IF she had said nothing, and let them do it, someone on that panel would have chewed her out for not speaking up. They would've cut her down either way.
  2. Technically we don't know Connor's dads are gay. It could simply be that Connor's parents are amicably divorced and his dad and his mothers new husband ("dad") came up to tell him to get his shit together. Of course I assume they are two dads in the "traditional" sense and are a couple.
  3. I didn't think they pretended the audience wouldn't notice. Owen mentioned that "even his memories of her she looked different, i'd forgotten what she looked like" (Sorry i'm paraphrasing) when he was talking to Teddy. I honestly thought that was a rather clever way to handle it.
  4. I've been sure since about week 2 this is the main reason heather was brought on. Normani was brought in to go to the end getting the young demographic involved, and Heather was brought in to be the smokescreen ringer - who can complain about Normani when Heather was there as the bigger ringer
  5. Remember the beginning of the season when we had 3 female ringers + nancy + hell even charo was better on paper than their typical older lady, and we still end up with a final 3 with only one woman?
  6. Did anyone else burst out laughing when Zeke started talking about "Waiting for the right timing to make a move" at tribal when he's notoriously unable to wait for the right time?
  7. I'm not 100% sure she had the trusted manpower to go after Sierra or Brad. 13 voters. Ozzy / Andrea / Michaela / Cirie / Zeke (at that time) were locked. In their eyes - Brad / Troyzan / Sierra / Tai / Debbie were locked. That leaves 3 (Hali, Aubrey, and Sarah) unaccounted for. Sarah was in their group,, but it appeared Aubrey was in Brads. Cirie thought that they were getting rid of Michaela so that Hali would come to the other side, making it a 7 on 5 battle. So to Cirie, it seemed to be 6 v. 6 with Hali as the potential swing. But - looking at the votes from the first tribal - Andrea, Cirie, Zeke, and Sarah were the 4 votes for Michaela. Ozzy voted for Hali. Even if the 6 had flipped - we would have a 6-6 tie between Hali and Brad/Sierra. Now we have a tie, and Cirie's alliance is exposed. Maybe she could have brought Hali in for a 7-6, but it was clear she didn't trust Hali, and thought Hali would go running to the other side. There's a lot of logic jumps out there, but I imagine being out there for 21 days, playing at the level you are in an all star season, can effect ones thoughts.
  8. Wasn't Cirie's first season Exile Island? Probably a reference to that
  9. It's funny cause she's getting critiqued for that and getting critiqued for not having a personality - when this is by definition a personality. just cause some may not like her personality doesn't mean she doesn't have one
  10. But imagine the force they'd be in Battle of the Exes III
  11. I don't think they were worried about the merge. Brad was worried about the Caleb / Tai / Debbie connection. Vote out Hali, and those 3 suddenly have the majority. They go to tribal again and Caleb is no longer a sure thing. Now it's just as likely Brad or Sierra go home to the 3 who played together.
  12. I keep seeing comments that Sandra's behavior / statements towards Tony are poor game play / sportsmanship / etc. However - I think it's actually really smart gameplay on Sandra's part. She knows that she isn't going to play the under the radar / not a threat / anyone but me game - people are on to her, these people don't want to let her get close to the end again. So she has to do the opposite - instead of being the weak older woman whose game people won't respect so you bring her to the end (when in reality they'll reward her) she has to be the obnoxious over the top jackass that no one will vote for, so you bring her for that reason. She's playing the same game, but flipped the style / perception of her gameplay completely on its head, in an effort to stick around.
  13. Actually - attorneys who live close to a state border would likely be licensed in multiple jurisdictions. I know I'm licensed in my home state and two border states due to work and I'm geographically much further from any border than Atwood would be from New York State. Granted, it's likely Atwood would not be, because she's a prosecutor who sticks with the one jurisdiction, but is she relatively new to the office (or just to us viewers)? She may have maintained her NY license just in case.
  14. I thought it was the opposite - she agreed to be part of the company or something. Her dad was upset with her for cutting them out / removing herself from the family and whatever she signed changed that.
  15. I'm completely against the idea that Wes is still alive - I just don't buy it, there's too many loose threads. (but when has that stopped this show) But after reading this thread / thinking more on the episode (and previous ones)....could part of the deal Wes made with the cops include Witness protection? Thus the body was fake or was Wes pretending to be dead, Nate would be in on it as a cop, and the last scenes of the season would be Wes riding off into the sunset with a third name? That would explain the body going missing and then suddenly cremated out of nowhere
