IIRC, Avi was also the one who wrote "We love you, Alex" on his FJ tablet, and Alex choked up about it. And, yes, Jim did respond in a friendly way after Avi's DD. I did not catch "You're not getting rid of me that easily."

That said, I didn't think Avi as the winner of the original tourney should have been invited back. I thought the whole point of the thing was to give other worthy young people a chance at the big $$$.

Avi is not the same kid who wrote that message to Alex. Can't recall his name, though.

Jake doesn’t annoy me as long as I don’t have to look at his facial contortions.  The grimacing, lip pursing, writhing, is annoying beyond belief.

And he appears friendly to his opponents. Was rooting for Sam,  though ☹️

Tough final for a Jewish girl.  Jake makes me miss Yogesh.

Oh, not me...anyone is preferable to that guy!

Nooooo.  I don't think I can watch that guy again.  The bouncing up and down, rapid-fire delivery, squinty eyes, pounding on the microphone and mostly, that thing he does with his mouth, had me actively rooting against him.

    AND the fist-pumping!

He also posted a long Facebook rant attacking, among other things, the 'oneeclecticmom' account that posts about what contestants and hosts are wearing. Bear in mind, she never says anything derogatory - she keeps her comments positive, she just talks about what they are wearing and how she likes it. And he attacked her for some weird presumed attack on him.

    So glad he is gone.

    Me  too!!!

    Ahhh...

Too bad yogesh is gone. No more stories about how great and famous he is back to his podcast I've never heard of.

    I got model.T

Was going to say Ahhhhh, myself!!!

Is it me reading things into it, or did Yogesh seem a bit ungracious when he lost?

    No, he looked sullen

I had a terrible, terrible game. In my defense, I had had an exhausting day and only 4 hours sleep the night before. But I didn’t realize how tired my brain was until I tried to play Stupid Jeopardy (or “Celebrity Jeopardy”, as ABC calls it) right afterward and couldn’t answer their clues, either. I gave up after the first round and took a nap.

I think Yogesh is going to be around for a while.

    God, I hope not

So, I guess you don't find him attractive......

Well, certainly not as bad.  Mattea drove me from the show for a couple weeks because I couldn't stand the hand flapping.

Nor the 20-minute recitation explaining her wagers.

I thought the impression was fine, but as a parody it fell flat because it just seemed like a less good presentation of Jennifer Coolidge's shtick.

I wasn't really thrilled with it until Lizzo showed up. Her "I'm not wearing any planties" turned the whole thing around for me and I was laughing after that.

I was watching live so I put it on mute almost as soon as it started. What was the point of the back and forth about how she had not been on WU before? Was it supposed to be a joke about some previous Heidi appearance?

Glad that Cecily got a big goodbye moment (two, really, with Cathy Anne and Blue Christmas). I don't see Chloe and Heidi being able to fill her shoes.

Bowen was the best part of the Marzipan sketch. The concept was nonsensical. They don't have to like marzipan but to be unaware that it is sweet?

Heidi, Chloe (plus Sarah) TOGETHER couldn't fill even one of Cecily's shoes. IMO, of course.

Am I the only person who finds this commercial sad? I mean, yes, it's wonderful that the father creates a giant snow globe for his daughter, but I've always assumed that the snow globe has some relationship to the mother who's no longer in the picture (either through death or divorce). I assume we're shown the framed picture of the father, mother, and daughter for a reason.

Maybe I'm reading this all wrong?

I love this ad, showing how much that father wants to bring joy to his little girl who is missing her mother ❤️❤️❤️
