    I really like the new champ...  but even if I didn't, I'd still watch. I even stuck it out during Mattea's run and she drove me nuts. No contestant...or host... would make me not watch.

But the thing that sticks out for me lately is how much I’m enjoying the newcomers this year. I guess they called them the featured cast? I’m liking all of them And their energy and their vibe. But I was wondering why Sarah Sherman is still a featured player, she’s so brilliant! The character she did on WU, I think her name was Genesis, was probably the one that had me laughing out loud the most in a long time ! 

    I'm hoping Sarah is gone soon...all she is, IMO, is loud...never funny.

    Not an instaget FJ - first I said Buckminster Fuller (who didn't die until 1983) but the Florida part changed my mind to Walt Disney. Epcot Center doesn't mean much to me.

    I really like the new champ but I liked all contestants today.

    I liked them all, too... been a while since that's happened

    I know I got at least a couple TSes and did not get FJ. Never seen the movie and not sure I knew it was a play. Couldn't tell you if I ran anything; can't even remember what any of the categories were (except the literary bad day one, in which I missed one - I kept thinking aphids instead of Triffids; I knew it was close but couldn't get there. Also never read the book). 

    My mom thinks the champ looks like Hitler. I'll admit that was my first thought the other night but then I thought a young Mr. Banks from Mary Poppins.

    Yes, I immediately thought of Hitler, as well. I keep referring to him as Adolf.

    I took an instant dislike to him, for many reasons. Hope he's gone soon.

    As for FJ, my losing streak continues. I know what an eponym is, and the mention of tanks got me to the right decade, but beyond that? Nothing.

    I disliked Dan after his introductory story. I get you’re not a soccer fan, but it’s clearly important to your daughter, so maybe take an hour or two to do some research and learn about it, so you can give her the support she deserves? Gah.

    I wonder if Crystal went backstage to vomit between games. 

    Why would she???

    I should just never use any form of the word "ironic" because it seemingly never applies.

    Now I really want to see a Jeopardy! category titled IT'S IRONIC! about uses and missuses of the term.

     

    For misuses, they could cite any line from that stupid Alanis Morissette song.
