    The zombie sequence using Mama Cass's song really seemed like it would work in an actual movie.  It's such a familiar trope. Chloe Troast has a pretty decent singing voice.

    Emma Stone is 35?  JFC, I'm old, or just out of touch.

    Not a bad show all in all.

    I think she's a good enough singer, but all I could think of was how much better Cass was.

    Yeah, I saw the shorter version yesterday at my parents' house.  The commercial started, I asked my mom if she'd seen it and she hadn't, so I was excited, and then it turned out to be the version without showing them as kids.  My mom still loved it, but that scene adds so much -- as I said in another thread, the years just fall away as they slide down that hill, and for that wonderful moment, they feel just like they did as worry-free kids.

    It is on YouTube, at least... the entire ad.

    ETA: I'm not sure the old ladies on sleds ad would be as touching if it weren't for "In My Life" as the soundtrack.  I think it's my favorite Beatles song.

     

     

    I think it would.  What makes it touching to me is the ladies reliving a happy time from their childhoods.

    The funniest part of this episode was the ball boy carrying the head off the court.

    I only saw the musical guest's first number, and while I don't know 99.9% of these young performers, she wasn't that bad (although I was making googly eyes at the male backup dancers).  I wonder if Travis Kelce has ever seen her perform.  She reminds me of a "sexier" version of Taylor Swift.  Watch out, Taylor! 😅

    Don't think Taylor has anything to worry about.

    Someone please explain to me the ad where the idiot guy makes the waiter shred pounds of cheese all over himself until he says “when”.  What the hell is this supposed to mean? 
     

    And then the Raisin Brand as where the announcer says “you sock rolling son of a b……”. Why insult someone during a cereal commercial?  

    I actually think that's hilarious.
