A lot of times it could be related to logistics. When the main MJ set is in NY, and the politians are in DC, then they can't be literally "at the table". As far as the time, I am sure a lot of that scheduling has to do with when the politians agree to be on, I am sure that a lot of people find that being ready to be on TV at 6 am is too early.

Joe and Mika in Georgetown yesterday

Live from the bunker

Mika did a Facebook Live today from joe's band rehersal. I haven't been able to watch it since I'm at work (maybe that's a good thing).
-
I do remember Joe saying this before today - for instance, I recall either him or Mika saying it a few months ago. But I don't recall that he has been saying it "for years".

That made me laugh. I think the full quote was “Nobody comes up to me on the street and tells me I would be a great Mayor. They tell me to get the hell out of the way” My favorite thing about Willie is his self-depreciating sense of humor.

Honestly, I haven't seen it either, and I am close to Mika's age (2 years older).

Yes

They are broadcasting out of their house in Florida. There was a twitter thread a while ago. They look like they are in different locations because they each have a single camera on them in their primitive studio.
-
Me too. I think that's a fairly common reaction.

Donnie used to annoy me, but now I actually like him. He was on Laurence O'Donnell's show last night, and Laurence was fawning over him.
-
On today's show, right after they had been talking about David Ignatious's (sp) mom, Mika said something along the lines of "We all appreciate moms, especially with what we are going through at the moment". At the time I didn't know what she was talking about, but I guess it was this. Prayers to the Scarborough family.

One of the articles about this guy mentioned that his search history showed that he started looking up information about Joe within minutes of Joe saying that Trump was "the worst president in history". His searches resulted in him finding a former house of Joe's (I'm sure the CT house), and zooming in on it.
-
During the discussion about the coast guard plot, Willie mentioned that the guy had been searching for people’s houses and zooming in on them. Although Willie didn’t mention it, it was Joe’s house the guy was searching for. Fortunately I think he found Joe’s former home. I, personally, am going to refrain from posting anything about Joe and Mika’s personal whereabouts for the foreseeable future.

My frustration with the last segment is that they are always running out of time and sometimes have less than 5 minutes available for the last guest. They should either ensure that there is enough time for the last guest (which would mean shortening the re-run segment) or scrap the last gueat altogher and use that time to talk about sports./pets, etc.

While I do believe that their relationship began while they were both married (ie before 2012), I do believe that they legitimately fell in love. I don't think it was something that Mika did to further her professional career, and I think she was more conflicted about the situation than Joe which is why it took her several years longer to go through with getting a divorce.
-
Given Mika's propensity for stumbling over words, it is not surprising to sometimes mis-hear things.
-
Mika said “Roger Stone AND someone whose name we won’t mention here” I think she was referring to Alex Jones

Why do images of Mika keep flashing in the advertising for Joe's band? Is Mika in the band now?

So this is funny: the other day on twitter, Joe recommended a short film on Amazon Prime called "Jitters". I watched it, because it was only 13 minutes long. It was not bad, but is did have a surprising twist right at the end. Even more surprising, though, were the closing credits, when I found out that Joe Scarborough was one of the executive producers.
-
That was actually supposed to be a joke. He was yelling all these things about Hillary being corrupt, and people working for her being arrested, then at the end he said “oh no wait, that was Trump”. The joke was silly, but it was meant to be anti-trump, not anti-clinton

I think the segment of Joe playing the guitar was something that happened after the show. It wasn't on the actual show.

Suddenly Joe and David Schuster are acting like long lost friends on twitter.
