I used to love Cara back in the day, then not so much once she got with Paulie and started acted very entitled etc... I was thinking I was ready to have her back though and without him. Last night was a little reminder of what I don't like about her, but I think I might still end up rooting for her because I think she will end up in an underdog role this season and be targeted all the time. Also, while the entitlement bothers me, I am hard pressed to think of a frequently successful person on this show who does not behave that way.

Maybe, but Cara herself is proof that you can be successful in the game without acting entitled. She has two wins to her name and got those wins without acting entitled.

It's very easy for her to be ride or die for Jasmine - it's ALWAYS going to be in her favor if Jasmine is in the game.

Jasmine was completely justified in her vote. Jasmine did what was best for her game. She voted in competitors that she believes she can’t beat, and one them went home. That’s good for Jasmine.

Cara burned her vote and played the middle when an ally asked for a favor. Now, she’s mad that someone she considers an ally doesn’t do her a favor.

Jasmine was always the stepping stone to advance someone else’s game. In addition to not being the most skilled person in these challenges, she usually gets the short end of the stick through sheer bad luck. Jasmine often got tied to people who also weren’t good at these challenges. Also, she was always someone’s sacrificial lamb.

In this episode, she has a little bit of power and I’m glad she took the shot. It was starting to look like these women were just going to let Rachel and Cara skate by.

Tired of being used by others to get further in the game, two underestimated players band together to blindside the biggest threat in the house. Two powerhouse champions meet in the Arena for a long-awaited battle.

    Air date: April 24, 2024 on Paramount+

  4. I just rewatched the last bit of the episode, and one thing that did not make much sense to me was that Nick chose Case #9, and when he decided to take the deal he said the number 9 has never let him down. Maybe his misspoke but I just kept thinking "if the number 9 has never let you down, why didn't he choose case #9 over taking the deal?"

I still think that. He had so much faith in #9 just to ultimately not choose #9.

Amy is getting meaner and cockier the closer to the finale she gets. The 'night owls' are really piling on Rob. I don't get why they seemingly dislike him so much.

I think a overwhelming part of it that they do see Rob as a genuine threat, which they should. They got all the tea about how he played Survivor and how he won. It just festered from there. I'm sure it may have rubbed some people the wrong way about how he's played the game so far while also completely ignoring that they're doing the same thing.

  6. I actually liked last night's episode. For a moment, I thought (insert name of person that played Deal or No Deal) was going to send Stephanie home if he had won. I also got the impression that if he were to make it to the end and win the prize money, he would spend 100% of it on his wedding.

It's shameful that I only remember Rob, Stephanie and Aron's names. The show has pretty much been 90% of Rob and the rest is a mix of everyone else.

Can't believe I'm about to say this but... I kinda wish the show had waited before telling the players that one of them was an AI bot.  It would have been television gold if one of the blocked players had unknowingly walked into Max's apartment expecting to find a  human and instead found a fancy box.  But I wouldn't want the AI bot in there for too long.  Just for a few blockings.

    I agree.

So far, I'm not really liking the AI twist.

I don’t get why sometimes Probst boots a quitter on the spot without a vote and sometimes like this they have to go through the motions.  How did the producers know Q would survive the vote?

Yeah, I thought he would have asked everyone whether they agreed right there on the spot to let Q be voted out, and then he would have been gone.

  9. Naming the challenge "Domino, Motherfucker!" is hilarious.

The jokes about Syrus cracked me up. Ryan says he's been hitting the gym from time off in the old age home. Brandon said Syrus picked a bad time to lose all that weight. 😂

As toxic as Ayanna is, she's been driving nearly all of the drama thus far and it has been kinda entertaining. She always does the most. She can't handle a when someone confronts her about something she actually said, but when she lies about someone else (Janelle and Jasmine) it's all good.

It's okay to still think Rachel is overrated, right?

    Yes. I think she's overrated.

A heated confrontation over a rumor puts one All Star's game on the line. A shocking departure brings a true Challenge OG into the house. A power player flexes their political muscle, forcing old friends to battle it out in the Arena.

Main thing about this episode is that they pushed the prize money down.  No more million dollar prizes?

They've never had million dollar prizes for All Stars. It's always been $500K.

Averey couldn’t have been on the show that long ago.  She must be at least 5-7 years younger than any of the others.  Well maybe not Leroy and Cam, and Derek and what’s his name the guy who quit the Final because he couldn’t eat.

Jay, and Nicole, and Tony. Cara is younger than Leroy. With the exception of Jay, all of them have made more recent appearances than Averey.

I still need to know what she was explaining with the apples. Cause, girl what?!?!?!

Also, I died when Ayana spent x hours talking and then when Leroy tried to get clarification, she goes off about how he was wasting time and Ace hadn't spoken yet. The camera cuts to Ace, and he goes, "I'm good. I don't need to talk!"

I always forget how cuckoo bananas Ayanna is.

I do admit her speech was funny even though she annoys me.

Ayanna is MADE for reality tv. She's annoying and nuts but also hilarious in her nuttiness.

I couldn't help but notice that they follow the same pattern with her. They show her being encouraging toward people and then she turns. Remember on season 2 when she was thrown into her first elimination and everyone was cheering her on and crying at how encouraging she was to her opponent. Ayanna was telling this woman she was powerful, and she's not a quitter and so on. Kendal had her best ugly crying face. Fast forward and we got "Jodie, I ate yo greek salad."

This season Ayanna starts off giving Kam all of her praises about how she's "looking at a champion." Then, fast forward she's like "I know it's a little manufactured" and "it's a part of my crazy."

This star business is so interesting. I love that the winners can go in and steal a star for an ally AND that the winner of the elimination can take a star from the opposite sex and give it to an ally of that sex. Cause if I was Steve, there was no way I was letting Rachel keep a star!

Love this whole twist with the stars.

Steve's technique in the elmination was great!

This is the "skull concept" done correctly IMO. It seems like they finally got the execution right this time.

They limited the amount of stars to 6. They gave them all out in the beginning. The elimination winner gets to steal a star from anyone that has a star without having to face that person in elimination. Therefore, everyone doesn't get to skate by once they have a star by avoiding elimination.

On the flagship, one scenario we never got to see is if two people without skulls go into elimination and all of the skulls are already taken, how does the elimination winner get a skull? My guess had always been that the elimination winner gets to steal one. We finally see that play out with these stars. The elimination winner gets to steal a star from anyone that has a star.

Right after she said she's not going to vote for Jasmine haha

...and why is she suddenly riding so hard for Jasmine? The last time we left off with those two, they are at each other's throats. Jasmine was not with Ayanna's bullshit.

Ayanna’s speech and reactions to it was hilarious. Poor Leroy was so confused. She seems like she goes to the line “you’re disrespecting me” any time someone questions anything she does.

I forgot how Tech used to tell Ayanna to talk less and to let him do more of the talking in season 2. 😂

And she talks in metaphors and cliches. I can imagine her throwing out every cliche she can think of 45 minutes straight.

Granted, this is edited but she said Leroy cut her off, and from what is shown it didn't appear that Leroy cut her off. He seemingly waited until she stopped talking.

Also, what really cracked me up was Ayanna saying "in the interest of time, we're not having this conversation right now" or something like that... and she just wasted an hour of their time just to say she's voting for Jasmine.

  16. I don't think there was a scenario that could have played out in which Averey's star wasn't taken.

If there was an elimination played, anyone that won it out of Janelle, Jasmine or Tina, Averey's star was being taken.

I don't think any woman is ready to pull the trigger on taking Cara's and Rachel's stars.

Also, Tyrie clearly hasn't watched the show since he was last on. I had to chuckle when he said he was safe because other people clearly came in laugh so he didn't have to worry. Oh dude, if only it was that easy!

I laughed too. I don't even think that applied when he last played the game. I was like "that don't mean a damn thing." The fact that they showed Tyrie saying that, that was the biggest clue he was going in.
