Yay! 😊 I'm so glad that they took 37! 😊 Congrats to this small new rookie class of 10 and of course the 27 returning vets!!! So happy for Amanda, Chandi, Kat, Kelcey, Kristin, Lily, Lisa, Meredith, Taylor P and Victoria, their dreams have just come true and their journeys as Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are just beginning! 😊 So exciting!!!

Kelli and Judy have mentioned it on past seasons, not as often anymore. The last time I heard them mention it is when Yuko had some immigration issue, and they said “we could maybe make her an alternate” this was during training camp. The rest is just speculation on my part, but I do think the alternates attend all training and games. I think they grow close to the squad that way. Last year Madeline was in almost all of the team’a private Instagram stories. And she was picked up by former DCC for Live, Love, Game Day’s Sydney Durso to do modeling. She was “in” — and I have seen Lily in the same manner as far as Instagram stories the last year. It’s just a guess tho. No hard facts.
Wow, this is amazing! I had no idea about the alternates!! Would love to know more about this!

I'm so excited to see this year's cameos now! 😊 All of the girls I seen featured on Social Media (basically all of the vets) looked amazing and hair and makeup looked great on everyone! How amazing does Hannah look with straight hair?! 😊

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! I was watching the last episode of season 12 and it appeared as though Savannah and Lexie were in every group lol when they were dancing during the last rehearsal! The Group Leaders kept interchanging as well during the same song between Jenna, Jinelle, Lacey and KaShara when Kelli had just said 'Let's see Group Three'! And they introduced the groups during Meet the Team as Groups led by KaShara, Jinelle, Lacey and Jenna even though Jenna was Group 1 Leader!
I also recall from past episodes seeing loads of girls called in the wrong order during Finals and TC announcements like for instance I recall Amy L. is seen still sitting in the crowd during season 10 as the last Finalist Amy Simone is called! In I think it was Season 12 as the Vets perform in episode 4 to inspire the Rookies some of the Vets (I think Robin was one of them) are seen sitting as Kelli applauds them! That one is hard to get your head around lol. The same goes for show group announcements with the editing! Sorry for the long post, I could write a book about this show lol! Love it and the editing too! 😊 Always makes for great viewing!!

Was watching Season 12 episode 10 and caught a glimpse of Holly I am certain, after her leaving the squad was addressed (It is her distinct haircut). This was during the show group Big & Rich performance. Anyone know if she performed at this before she left and it was just a case of being broadcast in a later episode and it was edited around her? As rookie Show Group members Gina, Lauren and Kalyssa weren't featured so was it earlier in Training Camp than what was shown continuity wise on the show?

I think it was Rachel Le Ann in season 8! Injured in TC in season 7 and came back and made the team in season 8! She was a great DCC! Wish she hadn't of retired so soon!

It's always sad/weird to me to watch the shrinking of an original rookie class. So of the original 13 of this particular year end pending any cuts at Finals, we are now down to 8.
Some I could care less about but Lauren for me is a big loss. She was the first DCC I ever followed. 😐
I was just thinking about this when Lauren announced her retirement! 😢 IMO Season 12 had a great Rookie Class! I wonder which of them will be the last one standing!

I'm rooting for Lily too! 😊 I think she has all it takes to make an incredible DCC IMO! Was rewatching Season 3 today and Lily reminds me so much of Jordan Chanley!! I remember thinking the same thing last year too!

The retiring Vets twitters have been changed! It's always sad as it makes it so final! I hope some of them become All Stars and can't wait to see which of them show up at Semi Finals to teach the combo!

I also hate the solos of earlier years that relied on gimmicks and props. I want to see dancing that shows off the girl's technique and showmanship. I don't need to see the overused tilt crotch shot or the split on the floor crawling like a porno add towards the judges while wielding a police bully club prop or somesuch.
@PhoebeKelly1992 sometimes you have to consider the source and let it go. No need to see yourself out. There are lots of varying points of view here. We can be quite an opinionated bunch at times. 😉

I want to see the hair guy make his funny facial expressions when it comes to the other judges' reactions.
I also do not think there have been that many good solos from last year. The only one who stood out to me last year was Maddie. The rest were blah to me.
It is just my opinion that Season 13's rookie class were a talented bunch. Can we not agree to disagree? Anyhow, I can see that I'm not too popular here so I'll see myself out....
