  1. Same, here. I'm sure it's amazing, but I've been to other major cities that are so much prettier. Topic? Jenelle is a swamp cooze, and that will never change.
  2. They are white, and they have been on TV. Rules do not apply, to them.
  3. Bullshit. She is covering for David because she is afraid of him. Nothing about making up the story for publicity makes ANY sense. The lies some people tell themselves and others to keep their abusive partners around are astounding.
  4. I remember watching interviews with the Kids in the Hall on DVD, where they talked about the costume department giving them over-the-top, cartoon-y looking dresses and wigs for their female characters, and how they had to turn them down, because they wanted to portray real women, and not caricatures. So, I agree that they were funnier than, say, Milton Berle. I can't really speak for Monty Python, since I didn't see much of it.
  5. I was twelve when I told the court I wanted to live with my dad, but they didn't listen to me. Or, if they did, they didn't care. I don't believe that the courts really, truly care about a child's wishes, just going by my own experience. HOWEVER...aren't we jumping the gun with Maryssa's future, just a little? I don't doubt she is going to have issues and will most definitely need counseling, but speculating that she will shoot her father in his sleep, or turn to hard drugs and sex work, in order to survive? That's a bit much, isn't it? She's eleven.
  6. I'm actually not surprised, at all. Believe it or not, I've seen bigger dirtbags than UBT and Jenelle keep their kids. I am sad for Maryssa, because I don't think she was lying, and every adult in her life is a complete fuck-up, who has failed her. Sorry to say, she is likely going to have major issues. I hope they don't continue to homeschool her, but she will probably be on lockdown, now. So incredibly sad, but not surprising. This sort of thing happens, everywhere, every day.
  7. I only read half of it before giving up. I thought the premise was problematic, and the characters were one-dimensional. The sex scenes were cringe-y. Just, BAD, all around. I'm surprised it's so loved, on Goodreads.
  8. Not unpopular with me. I hated that book.
  9. LOL...now, the Swifties have gone so batshit crazy, they have accused Sia of being racist after she defended Scooter Braun: https://people.com/music/sia-denies-using-blackface-taylor-swift-fans-uncover-video/ Don't these people have anything better to do, than rabidly defend someone they have never met?
  10. I'm thinking Ensley was getting contact highs, from all the weed smoke.
  11. The sad thing is, this is probably "clean", to them. No way in hell Jenelle cleans all day, and I'm sure David thinks cleaning is woman's work. They don't see anything wrong with this post, because it's actually an improvement from how it usually is.
  12. I love Todd, but he doesn't need to comment on every single Taylor releases. I know he's not a fan of hers, he doesn't need to remind me, over and over. It's getting tiresome, and I know he's better than that. Anyway, I don't have any opinion about that Scott Bruschetta dude buying Taylor's music. She'll be fine. Taylor is like a cat, she always lands on her feet.
  13. Thanks for the explanation. I admit, I saw Taylor's name, and the word "bullying", and my mind went blank, because there have been too many damn headlines with those words, and I just didn't care WHO was "bullying" her, now. That situation sucks, but I'm sure she'll find a way out of it. And then she'll write some scathing songs about the big meanie-heads who bought her catalog. The world keeps spinning. 😜
  14. Who is this guy, and why is Taylor saying Justin Bieber and Kanye West are "bullying" her?
