  1. I´m sad that excellent acting from Andy and Peter Gallagher was overshadowed by Olivia´s angst and her personal issues. I didn´t expect that they would stretch Dodds Jr.´s leaving to almost the whole episode and give him such a big farewell. I like the character despite him being 2- dimensional but at the time they got to the funeral I was too bored and frustrated with writing that I had no emotions at all. Anyway Dodds Jr. should watch more TV so he would know that acting like a hero on your last week at work almost always get you killed. :) It was so predictable that the fact they actually killed him is the biggest surprise of the episode for me. Is it a thing or they created something new here? :) Not developing a character for the whole season and then expecting that people will be devastated over his death is quite a logic. Warren can thank heavens that Andy and P. Gallagher sold this BS. It also bothered me that the initial case was just a ploy for another hostage situation and it didn´t go anywhere. Barba´s hugely over-hyped storyline was there just by the way and was scrapped in three scenes. So thank you for nothing. I especially liked how annoyed Olivia was that she has to deal with Barba´s threats again. Although I hope they won´t drop the story because it has a lot of potential. Tucker and Benson got into a relationship few episodes ago and they almost got engaged. It just underlines the tragedy of what this show has become. Pleasing shippers, babies everywhere and lazy writing. But the biggest lesson I take from this episode is that if you keep up with licking your idol´s boots long enough he might give up and you became great friends with him. You know just like realistic human relationships work. Overall great job. 3/10. And last episode looked so promising. :/ Good riddance, goodbye Warren.
  2. The episode was mediocre at best. I knew who the rapist was the second they showed him and it was hardly a surprise that executive producers of reality show are sleazy. But whatever. The whole season feels like a filler episode after a filler episode. I don´t think those two remaining episodes will change my opinion that this season is the worst in 4 years. I´m not that easily pleased as some people so a character holding a fake baby didn´t do anything to me. Also Tuckson still looks like everything but a relationship with chemistry. Anyway what was Tucker´s purpose in this episode? They wanted to remind us that they´re still together before the finale or what? Btw A+ for character development. At least he used to be an adversary to SVU, now he´s just THE boyfriend. I couldn´t care less for him but this is a very good way how to destroy a character. Couln´t we see Barba outside of work for once? Why we see same scenes over and over? Tuckson hanging out in bar. Carisi holding a baby, Rollins watching stupid reality shows. Who cares? Urgh.
  3. This is one of many reasons why I can´t warm up to Carisi. He has very different opinions than me. He was way too apologetic of that rapist, of the Church, he liked a serial killer in season opener, he didn´t understand transgender people, he didn´t believe that a man can be raped by a woman, he was surprised that rape victims need an advocate and so on. I know writers did use him to explain things to the audience but it´s not getting any better lately. That hiatus is way too long. 5 weeks without Barba. Let´s hope that rest of the season will be better than last three episodes. Less of siding with rapists and pedophiles would be great too. I also hope that Olivia and Barba somehow explain things to each other. I need their friendship.
  4. Exactly. He said something like "I was drunk, it was just one waitress" Well what about her life? It could be just as ruined but we was supposed feel sorry about guy who drinks too much and "accidentally" raped somebody. Few weeks back we were lead to feel sorry about pedophile. I know nothing is black or white but it´s little weird.
  5. The Bad: No Barba. Carisi was all over his episode (December Solstice) but ok it makes sense story-wise that he wasnt in this one. The Good: Fin, Guest stars. Also this one wasnt so painfully boring and stupid like Unholiest Alliance. Overall I couldnt care less about Carisi, Scanavino has zero appeal for me, neither physically or acting wise but he was alright in those group therapy scenes. Way better acted than that cringe-worthy church scene from previous episode. As for Rollisi it definitely makes more sense than certain other ship involving Carisi so I would be fine with that.
  6. Of course Tucker is innocent. They are framing him only so we´ll start to like him. And Olivia is only one who trust him. It´s just cheap way of selling us on Tuckson. I was really looking for this episode because Warren promised that it would be Barba-important. Instead I had to watch Tucker´s outbursts, Benson being "mother of the year" and #BarsonBreakup. So i hated it. Only positive was Barba saying what I was thinking about Tucker.
  7. I´m not into shipping wars either. I don´t ship Barba with anybody from this cast. But people being delusional about them being more than colleagues really bother me. I agree that Carisi´s behavior got better this season, I disliked him only in Depravity Standard, 41 Witnesses and previous episode. Last season it was definitely more. He could stop fangirling whatsoever if he wants to be taken seriously though. And he maybe stop copying Barba´s clothing choices. Also SVU´s hair department should use lot less hair product. Last episode it was dripping from all Dodds jr., Carisi and Barba. Do I want too much? :) Anyway it´s 3am and I´m not native speaker. My grammar is getting worst. I´m done :)
  8. Well I obviously don´t understand why people love Carisi that much and I won´t be one of them so this is really pointless debate. If Carisi stays as detective and they won´t push him in the legal side of the show I would dislike him lot less. Maybe I´m just bothered by the whole Barisi BS and people saying that he should work with Barba. But that is mostly on tumblr. That age reasoning is interesting I didn´t know that. Although Benson is supposed to be 47 so Barba could easily be 45. Who knows. I don´t see Barba being unprofessional. He is sassy with everybody, it´s just Carisi who didn´t get the message that he should think before speaking. But it seems that Carisi enjoys being "noticed" by him whatever it takes.
  9. Princess Lucky, since when is Barba 50 years old? And Carisi 20-something? Raúl is 45 and Peter 36, there is no reason why would their characters be that much older or younger. But whatever. So he is dick to Carisi.. he is annoying and he has no idea when to speak and when to shut up. Big deal. It´s always just a reaction on something stupid Carisi said. We should agree to disagree about these two.
  10. He most definitely hasn´t won me over. I really tried to like him but he can be so annoying at times. Do people really talk like cartoon characters in America? And he should stop fangirling over Barba. It´s pathetic. Or better not interact with him besides cop work at all. And there are people who take it as mutual flirtation. Like how? But not to be all negative he is good detective.
