  1. Looks like Jill has accomplished something after all!
  2. Every time a Duggar grandchild makes it to a birthday without the mom being pregnant, I breathe a sigh of relief. Is Jill the first one to have her youngest hit two years old without her being pregnant again?
  3. That photo reminds me of a parody, or someone dressing up in a handmaid costume for a protest. Yet, it is real. It’s chilling.
  4. I know! I think the pads extended onto the floor a bit, but still. Plus, if Jessa was bleeding enough to call an ambulance, would that be enough to contain it all? I thought that if you were giving birth at home, you would take advantage of the comforts there. I’m imagining sheets over some specially protected mattress and cozy loose clothing. Not just dropping trou and plopping down on the couch like you were ready to binge watch Fixer Upper.
  5. I know that it’s unlikely that the paramedics were the same individuals as when Spurgeon was born. But when they rolled up, I couldn’t help but wonder if they were thinking, “Oh, these people again.”
  6. So, 5 daughters/daughters-in-law pregnant at once? That’s just creepy. It’s like a puppy mill.
  7. All the Mulder/Scully interactions had me in fangirl heaven. The way Mulder was there for her, all the touching... I can hardly believe we are getting this new material after all these years. My favorite moment was when Scully started freaking about the gurney and Mulder just takes her in her arms to calm her.
  8. Yes, I'm loving the revival for the exact same reasons. The stories can't be new, but the character development can. The characters were always the most interesting part anyway. I just want to see Mulder and Scully happy to more than ten minutes, but they have really backed themselves into a corner. Scully has been through so much that I don't think a normal life with anyone else is possible. How could anyone else understand all that? I want nothing more than to see them together, but let's face it, Mulder can be an ass and a healthy relationship between the two would be difficult to achieve. Mulder needs to have some purpose again and the first episode did a good job of exploring that issue. Are they both broken by eveything? How do they come back from the trauma and loss of idealism and innocence they had at the beginning of the show? I'm about years younger than they are supposed to be and still have to deal "wanting to believe" in my own job, and that's teaching! That struggle is interesting to me.
