  1. David wants to leave Claremont for a plethora of reasons he's very vocal about (friends in other cities, warmer weather, more ethnic food options, experiencing different things, a better economy) but he has never even mentioned racism. Since it's now taken over the thread, future posts about bigotry in Claremont will be considered off-topic and will be moderated. If you want to speculate, that belongs in the David/Evelyn thread.
  2. If your post has nothing to do with the show and its participants, it's off topic.
  3. In the series premiere of this 'Jersey Shore' type reality show, eight young southerners come together for the summer to look for love, some extra money and a family of friends that will last a lifetime. The gang get friendly with each other and some of the Panama City Beach locals. When one young woman tries to infiltrate their group, the ladies of the house start a turf war.
  4. Nora and Ian reach a critical point in their relationship; Gallo finds himself wrestling with PTSD; and Jess is forced to make a difficult choice.
  5. Special guest judge and fish-cooking expert chef Michael Cimarusti joins chef Ramsay, as the remaining contestants compete in a special challenge involving creatures of the sea. Then, during dinner service, the chefs aim to impress a host of VIP guests, including actor Aleks Paunovic, rapper E-40, professional dancer Cheryl Burke and actor Dan Bucatinsky. With two chefs fighting bitterly for authority and another struggling to communicate, chef Ramsay is less than pleased.
  6. The contestants must create a dish using exotic meats–boar, venison and elk–that were eaten by early humans. Each team will use a spear to hunt for five ingredients to prepare as sides for their dish.
  7. McKayla is forced to choose sides when she has to decide whom she wants in the delivery room; James learns some shocking facts about childbirth from his sister; the stress of a newborn baby tear Lexus and her mother apart.
  8. McKayla visits her newborn sister two weeks before her own due date; Lilly's mom doesn't want her baby to have James' last name; and Lexus and Shayden struggle with raising a newborn. Meanwhile, one of the teen girls is given a ring.
  9. Molly asks Luis to step up as a parent; David and Annie head to Kentucky; Elizabeth and Andrei have new plans for their wedding; David won't talk about the wedding night with Evelyn; Nicole and Azan have a big decision to make; Josh and Aika argue about babies.
  10. Two tickets to the premiere of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" promise a glorious night for JJ and Ray until JJ's pulled to the dark side by a pretty classmate who hopes to take Ray's ticket. Back at home, Maya, Jimmy and Dylan enjoy a rare night at home without the boys. Meanwhile, Kenneth's secret after-hours hangout at Lafayette is compromised when Dr. Miller discovers his late-night escapades.
  11. JJ convinces his parents to take him on a college visit but hides an ulterior motive. As his plan unravels, JJ enlists the help of new friend Tyson, an actor who gives the performance of his life to keep JJ out of hot water. Meanwhile, Ray goes wild when he's left home alone for the first time.
  12. Bolding mine, I agree. Strip clubs or extreme hairstyles or tattoos or ordering food with onions or going to crowded places alone or surfing whatever -- if it bothers your spouse, you don't do it. If it was more important to you than your spouse, you wouldn't have married them. Expecting people not to be upset about things that don't upset you is a surefire way to end up disappointed. Freedom to love and marry who you want is a wonderful thing. Choosing a spouse isn't all that different than choosing a pet - if you want a puppy, make sure you're ready to clean up messes and get your shoes chewed on and deal with some crying at night. If you want a cat, make sure you're ready to give it personal space and have a giant box of stink sitting in your bathroom. But you do not get to adopt a St. Bernard then blame her for having 10 lb. bowel movements; you do not get to blame the dog you chose for being the dog it was when you chose it. Elizabeth knew what she was getting with Andrei-- I'm not sure Andrei knew what he was getting with Elizabeth.
  13. Yeah but Evelyn and David ate breakfast. At a breakfast place.
  14. Nicole & Azan have a big fight. David's drinking concerns Annie. Andrei sets his rules for Elizabeth's bachelorette party. Luis worries about the death of his single life. Evelyn's family begins to see the real David. Josh's friend has doubts about Aika.
  15. The show has given no implication that anyone participating is a pedophile, and the speculation has really run its course. Please move on or visit the Molly/Luis thread.
  16. Roast the show, not other posters. Posts have been removed.
  17. I dig Aika, but Josh looks like he's wearing someone else's face as a mask. He's.. not right.
  18. And Nicole is a 20-something year old toddler.
  19. Tension grows between McKayla's and Caelan's mothers; Kelsey realizes teen parents-to-be aren't prepared for what's next while driving home from Lexus' false labor; Lilly and her mom are upset when James bails on birthing class.
  20. Couldn't agree more with this- most things and not all things. My wife and I don't have any desire for girls'/guys' nights - if we have the option to go out, we want to go big and go together. We're far from codependent. Still, if she wants to go out with the girls, she can, and vice versa. It's Elizabeth and Andrei's communication that needs work. I also don't know why the Americans think it's nice to invite someone to leave their homeland and everyone they know and expect them to be excited about sitting home alone on Saturday nights.
  21. I thought the episode did a pretty good job showing that "Benjamin's communication issues" were a figment of Robyn's imagination.
  22. Top Sergeant doesn't mean "the top/best Sergeant" - it's a term of reverement for a specific rank and a high one at that. Promotions aren't handed out at time intervals during military service, so first someone needs to make E-5/Sergeant in the Army (4-5 years in with initiative/leadership skills) then they would need to be promoted again to Staff Sergeant, then Sergeant First Class, then either Master Sergeant or First Sergeant/"Top." This.
  23. You can tell if spaghetti is done by the way it looks when you stir it. Amanda is a whiner. Why was Robin asking Benjamin to tell her to drop scallops? Isn't announcing his time enough?
