  1. I'm another equestrian. Dressage on my red headed TB mare. Back to topic. Who TF thinks Saskatchewan borders an ocean???? I initially said Vancouver but thought "that's not a province." P.S. I've heard the phrase "Dutch uncle" (and figured it out from the clue) but didn't know what it meant.
  2. SHOUTY! JEOPARDY! I got FJ! Easy peasy
  3. Once again, I had no clue as to FJ! I believe I answered the Federalist Papers. I don't even know what those are! I am a huge RPDR fan so I was tickled to see her give clues. Who knows if Alex will be a judge??? Maybe he'll be a mentor, or there will be a musical Jeopardy! or he'll show up in Snatch Game. Some Like It Hot is my favorite movie, but I didn't know Billy Wilder hired a drag queen as a consultant. How very cool.
  4. I got Cressida only because T&C is the go to answer for obscure Shakespeare plays. Rex drove me nuts with the twitching and scratching.
  5. The only one I remember is Gilbert. Hope he's got the grill going in this lovely spring weather!
  6. Loved the wallpaper in Gen's room. Hatedhatedhated the silver hardware Vern put on the dresser. It looked like a piece of office furniture.
  7. I couldn’t finish watching yesterday’s final. Dhrev bugged me to no end. This year’s college championship was so uninspiring. I’m looking forward to regular games. Have there been any 5 day champs this year?
  8. Didn't have a game Wednesday in Chi-town which is fine because I don't really care. I wanted to smack the crap out of Thatcher for the beboppin and scattin all over the place.
  9. I got Maryland right away, but stumbled for a minute on the capitol. CapitAl? Most people immediately think Baltimore then I realized nope, Annapolis.
  10. How the fuck do,people live like that? No sink, exposed wiring, plywood on the floor. It’s like a variation of Hoarders. People that can’t move forward, don’t see that they are the problem. Clearly some mental health issues. I redid my tiny condo kitchen for about $15K. Countertops, cabinets, appliances. I can see easily spending upwards of $70K on those people’s house.
  11. I say Wooster sauce because that’s how Clarissa and Jennifer (both RIP)from Two Fat Ladies cooking show pronounced it and they were British. So there! LOL
  12. Given the fact that it was snowing this morning in beautiful west of Chicago, the game probably will get delayed.
  13. I answered Panama Canal for FJ! Talk about a geographic idiot.
  14. The Reynard clue was used recently, and an OED category is trotted out frequently. Sigh. No freaking clue as to FJ! but was praying AndrewS didn’t win. He was insufferable.
  15. Anyone heard when Season 8 will be broadcast on PBS??????
  16. I knew RFK was Attorney General but couldn’t come up with the cabinet department.
  17. Free shot from the foul line of love. I said Robert Crumb. I think that was his first name. And how could Nixon have been a miss??? Along with Iron Curtain. I got FJ! despite being the official geographic idiot. And I said Ute in a Joe Pesci Vinnie voice......
  18. Were any of the DDs revealed?
  19. Clue me in. What kind of surgery did Alex have? One of the questions in my weekend trivia bee was "what song did Sibelius write to protest the Russians?" I could NOT come up with Finlandia, but if I was asked "who wrote Finlandia?," I could answer Sibelius. One of the many nuggets picked up on Jeopardy!
  20. I thought show jumping was over obvious, but I’ve been riding for over 30 years. Sixteen Tons came to mind for FJ! but that was earlier than 1963.
  21. I liked Tristan a bit more when he said his pals gave him a varsity letter. In geekdom, I think? Anyway, that was an epic crash and burn on his part yesterday.
  22. I will name him George...
  23. Two snaps and a backfield in motion! i first said The sSword in the Stone but realized that was not the real title, so I came up Canterbury Tales. I did get googol and Gogol but in my mind spelled it google.
  24. Bronson Pinchot will be in Worst Cooks in America Celebrity Edition on Food TV. Can’t remember the date, sometime next week.
  25. Sometimes I tell my cat "do not use the davenport as a scratching post." I also say "icebox." I guess I'm old-timey some days. I think of chifferobe as a southern word, from To Kill A Mockingbird. "Boy, I'll give you a quarter to bust up my old chifferobe." That phrase occasionally comes out of my mouth, apropos of nothing. Back to the real topic of Jeopardy! Saturday I participated in the annual Trivia Bee for Literacy with 2 co-workers. I was able to come up several correct answers due to my love the the game, and this board.
