I retired last week and one of my farewell parties was Jeopardy! Seinfeld combining two of my favorite shows. Needless to say I won, but there was a worthy opponent on the other team who knew Jerry’s address, apartment number, and what book Jerry never returned to the library. But I knew the name of the sidler.

I just caught the last half hour of All About Eve. I am one who picks up on nothing in movies unless it whacks me over the head, but it was clear Addison was blackmailing Eve when he said you belong to me. Not financial blackmail, but emotional blackmail as in “I hold your future in my hands.” Oh, that Eve was so horrible.

Glad Mattea is gone, I had no idea for FJ! I could barely understand the clue. I knew it was Atlanta because of Coca Cola but nothing else.

I have developed a new watching strategy. I mute when Mattea hits a DD. I said Macbeth no Hamlet no Macbeth for FJ! then ran out of time.

The phrase answer splaining is perfect. No clue as to FJ! and I’ve heard of the book, outside of the Bible chapter.

I believe James was told to stop writing greetings on his FJ! answers but that that didn’t stop him. But I do agree that the producers probably don’t discourage this.

Thank you for articulating my feelings. That’s why I can’t stand Mattea. She’s all about “look at me.” There have been blind contestants, contestants on the spectrum and none of them have been as attention thirsty as she is.

I only watched 10 minutes of Tuesday's game, but boy, what a bunch of dim bulbs. There were several questions where all 3 stared slack jawed at the board. No clue as to FJ! No way for me to parse it out either. That one you either knew or you didn't.

I can spot a Friesian in the pasture. My trainer owns one. Not my type of horse. Holsteiners are breed of horse. I have heard people call the cows Holsteiners… I DVR Jeopardy! and come here to find the winner. If it’s Mattea I delete the episode.

I’m 64 and every September stand in front of the school supplies having an internal debate. I swear part of my childhood was messed up because I only ever got the 8 pack. At least they were Crayola brand.

Mattea’s hand flapping is getting on my last nerve.

The contestants have GOT TO STOP with the “cutesy” comments after they answer. That should result in automatic disqualification. It wasn’t cute or funny when James did it. It’s not cute or funny now.

I confidently answered Monte Carlo. D’OH! I also have been noticing the too long pause. Have not noticed Mattae’s nose ring though. A benefit of having a 10 year old 27 inch tv.
