All of this and particularly as they trot out the old spirit who gives up some info to the living trope. They are STILL using Tom as a plot device. Imagine if they'd actually done something real with his character? No wonder Ryan Eggold left for greener pastures.

I can't believe the most trite, trope ridden piece of junk has been renewed again? Another year of MB spitting out her words from behind locked jaws with all the emotion of a great white shark? What the frick is it with this show and saving women? If it's not Save Drippy Lizzy every week, now we have Save Samar, the most capable woman on the planet who needs no saving. And they're relying on the Task Force to save her? Christ.

I like Eggold too but this looks drippy. When he says you're all fired - I mean it," he really doesn't sound like he means it. He has such a widdle lickle voice. I can't see a commander. PLUS NBC are doing this to rival The Good Doctor and it won't compete. It will be E.R.Lite.

Do we really have to wait to the end of the season for Red to give Useless Lizzie a third eye??

The title of this episode sums up The Blacklist since Season 3. Ruin. Lizzie is already a murderer. It hasn't bothered her at all.

You know, this crossed my mind too. I'd laugh like a drain. Red saying "I told you to stay away from him but no, now you've gone and given birth to a banjo plucker." No wonder we don't see Aggie any more.

Totally Ally. I don't get how people can't just watch a show without making it into Mr & Mrs all the time. I have always found it hard to get into Liz, I really tried, but there were too many glaring holes in her character frm the get go. Tom was merely a plot device, he was never a real flesh and blood character. Ressler too. There is something completely empty about them. It could have been so much better, so much tighter and Megan Boone is not good enough to hold this kind of lead role, she just isn't, no matter how pwetty her fans think she is or how how much people ship her with every dude on the show. I get that there are viewers who think it's the shizzle because they're invested in shipping more than the actual quality of the show itself and I get why the actors are all over it on social media, after all, you don't sh*t where you eat. Why would Eggold give up Spike Lee for a half baked badly written role? I think the production team is winding it down, I don't know why, but I think this is it, come end of S5. If Liz ends up with Ressler then it's just Days of Our Lives. I'm really cheerful today!

Well we've seen the last of Ryan Eggold in that show.

The whole five seasons have been bullshit. I wonder when Liz woke up was the man from Atlantis in her shower?

The character of JJ in Criminal Minds had a baby on the show to coincide with the actress's real life pregnancy. The writers never forgot JJ had a son. Agnes was just a plot device and now they don't need her, she's gone. And the whole Liz and Tom screwing nonsense, they had the most sexless marriage in Season 1 when they were supposedly so loved up. Does logic dictate that that other great plot device, Tom Keen, will follow Agnes. And the dog (s).

I just saw a trailer: Lizzie doing her whole weeping Madonna act (with the same amount of emotion and same waxy glassy expression) about Tom, "He's mixed up with people who are capable of this?" Honey, HE'S capable of that. blub blub weep weep drool on Ressler's suit. Oh please just die already. The whole show, I mean.

Well Tom Keen can bury a body in seconds. SECONDS. Anyone who's ever tried to dig a big hole will wonder how he managed that. The Blacklist is in stupid universe. It's drama for the mindless.

You see I could go with that premise (as long as Liz was played by someone who can actually act, not just some jaw-wired woodentop who phones in her lines). It would have been much better had it been FBI vs Red and Liz, who was never a Fed in the first instance. But the writers are a bunch of sexist jerk offs and have little or no imagination. They're gonna run with this ridic Ressler story this season, may the gods wreak vengeance by having NBC pull the plug.

I'm already tired of Liz. I'm beyond tired of the whole Red Runs The Feds shit too. This used to be a crime drama, now it's like something from Syfy channel, and all that that implies.
