  1. I've just had a thought of someone who would be 100% perfect for this franchise - but I doubt she'd do it: Kathy Ireland ! Internet entrepreneur / retailer (One of the most beautiful - ever) model Actress Author Humanitarian Accomplished speaker Fitness video star Dancing with the Stars Alumni Apparently worth $350m (!!!! - makes Lisa V look poor) Oh my goodness - she would give each and every one of the Housewives a run for their money - the drama would be delicious! I saw her on TV a few years back ... she was doing something with one of her sons in the kitchen, and seemed incredibly normal and down to earth. She'd be fabulous. She could be introduced as a 'friend' of Lisa Rinna as she was on 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'Melrose Place' (before Lisa R's time, but I doubt anyone would care to research that). Make it happen Andy!!
  2. I thought Joyce was very sweet. Brandi really stirred the pot with her (as she did with everyone) ... but telling Gigi that Joyce was jealous of her was just BS. Joyce seemed to genuinely like other women and seemed like she would be a good friend. I imagine she and Eileen would get on well. Joyce is probably too good for this show though. Last I heard, she was producing (I think?) a Latino version of the show.
  3. How interesting was it that Leeza Gibbons was at Brandi's housewarming last season - and she knew Lisa V? Lisa V seems to know almost everyone. (As an aside ... I wonder how it is that Ken is richer than Lisa V, and why it is that she brands everything 'Vanderpump' when her married name is Todd ... it just seems strange?). Leeza Gibbons would be an interesting 'friend' addition from time to time, but she's not really relevant anymore to bring a huge amount of interest. Nancy O'dell would be interesting - she always seems so perfect ... I'd love to see another side to her. Allegedly Tiffani hooked up with one of Jennie's husbands but then Tiffani intimated in a relatively recent interview that she's forgiven Jennie for whatever it was that she did ... so who knows.
  4. I know Yolanda is David's fourth wife, but I've heard that the wives do the dumping, not him. Curiously, Linda Thompson would not disclose why she filed for divorce, and the whole thing - proceedings and settlement - was over quick-smart with no fuss. There must be some delicious tea there! (Plus, they still write songs together). David would be an absolute fool to ditch Yolanda - she thinks the world of him and he's probably never had it so good. Yolanda apparently filed for divorce from Mohammed after she caught him fooling around, so I think the rumours about David playing up are just that - rumours. She's a strong character and I doubt she'd take any BS from anyone (even though she does come across as a little dull). I do like Yolanda - and I absolutely adore her beautiful home in Malibu - but I still stand by what I say in that I don't think she's as sick as she's making out. Sure, she has something, but her accounts don't quite stack up. Even her Instagram proves that she's been well enough to travel and get out and about.
  5. I wondered if all the 'guest hosts' were put there on trial to determine who would replace Giuliana (before Maria came into the picture). Brandi is dreadful in TV interviews as well - on Ricki Lake, she was nervous and fidgety and when the show went to commercial break, I could lip-read her saying to Ricki that she was so nervous and hoped she did okay (Ricki was saying 'Oh, you were fabulous'). She does not ooze the same confidence on other shows as she does on RHoBH.
  6. I didn't realise LV was launching a homewares line. I must be about the only person who can't stand her. I'm pleased the writer agrees it's time for her to go. True what the article states about Brandi's wine-tossing vs Lisa's glass-slamming ... the latter was far worse, yet brushed under the carpet - for what reason, exactly? I don't believe that Yolanda's health issues are quite as bad as she's saying (she may be sick, but I don't think she's THAT sick, nor do I believe she only had one good day during that season - she was in high spirits a number of times that I saw) - although she wasn't 100% at the reunion, she could still sit, talk, listen - but I'm pleased she's off the show as she's a bit too 'me, me me' for my liking - and pretty boring. I wonder how they'll introduce the singer, who's reportedly a 'friend' of Yo and David? I agree with the writer's observations about Eileen. Maybe she was just playing the role of 'observer' last season and will take on a whole new character this season? I disagree with the writer's opinion about Kyle. I'm in the minority who likes her. And she will never go - she was instrumental in the role getting going in the first place, with a lot of the cast either known to her, or recommended by her. (IIRC LV said she recruited Adrienne but that's not true - Adrienne was known to Kyle prior). The show needs Kyle to survive IMO. And judging by the survey results in that article, it seems others would agree.
  7. I would have loved to see that! If they'd created it two years ago they would've been able to cast Eileen (still lives there); Yolanda (has since moved to an apartment in downtown Los Angeles - still owns the gorgeous Malibu mansion but is renting it out for $60k/month); Cindy Crawford (sold her holiday home there recently); Camille Grammer (house is still on the market at the same price it was a year ago), and Shannen Doherty to name just a few. What a cast these ladies would be! Having Tiffani and Jennie on the same show would be interesting ... they were friends but had a massive falling out and have never spoken again.
  8. It's amazing how - reading through other Forums - many people don't like Eileen and consider her conceited. I love her - she seems like such a cool lady and I believe has the best of intentions. She's way too good for this show - and doesn't need the ($750k pay check - more than anyone else in the cast) money or the fame, so goodness only knows why she signed on.
  9. I was watching an old episode of Ricki Lake yesterday, and Brandi was on, promoting her book and fashion line. Whatever happened to that? Talk about short-lived! When Brandi tweeted that she had a big decision to make - before the cast of this upcoming series was announced - I think the Bravo producers would've given her a choice - either reign in her behavior and apologize to all and sundry for past mistakes, or sit on the bench with the possibility of returning in a limited capacity. And she chose the latter. I say this because I'm a Scorpio, as is Brandi, and although I'm nowhere as 'out there' as she is, I recognize a lot of the things she does and understand why she does them. She's misunderstood, but if you're not a Scorpio then you won't understand that. It's a very complex sign!
  10. Carlton isn't as kooky in real life as the show made out (yes, she's a Wiccan and likes women, etc., but there's a whole lot more footage that they shot but never used). I'd like to see her return ... I loved her house and I think her husband's company is really interesting (it would've been great to get a glimpse of the construction side). Oh, and she said they shot footage of all her toys (cars, etc.), too but never used it. I think Carlton is still in touch with Lisa V and it would be good to see her come into the next season as a 'friend' to Lisa V just to keep that connection going. I don't understand why they bothered bringing Camille and Adrienne back into the fold last season - they didn't really offer anything and it's hard for me to get excited about returning housewives, no matter who they are. I'm not at all looking forward to seeing Taylor this season. If she's going to ruminate over the past then I'm tuning out!! It's nice to see - from Kim's Instagram feed - that she's back in a good place with her family. There were rumours about Kim going off at her daughter during her wedding in Mexico, after which her daughter vowed never to speak to her again. But they appear back on track so that's good. I'd like to know where Kim is living now as she was reported as not being able to afford her former rental now she's lost her RH income (even though she gets $20k per month in alimony from one of her divorces). I honestly can feel Kim's pain at not being able to afford a house, when Kyle has not one but two beautiful mansions (Bel Air and Palm Springs) and Kathy is loaded too. I'm pleased she's off this show though - I'd hate for her to be the scapegoat for yet another season. Eileen doesn't fit in with this show. She's too nice and normal, and an accomplished actress who does not need the money or extra fame. Goodness only knows why she signed up. I'm surprised Rinna is so friendly with Eileen - by all accounts I would've thought she'd be extremely jealous of her. I think Lisa V's storyline this season will be centered on her animal rescue efforts. Eileen's storyline will likely go over the death of Dick Van Patten. With Brandi out of the picture I think Rinna will take over as the pot-stirrer of the cast. Ugh! If her behavior at the reunion was anything to go by, her outbursts should be phenomenal.
  11. I've just signed up to Previously TV after reading through all the TRHoBH threads over the past few days - honestly, you guys are all so entertaining - it's made for great reading!!! I'm kicking myself that I didn't find this site earlier. I've just finished watching a marathon of last season of TRHoBH and am just shaking my head at Lisa Rinna. I used to really like her (well, what I knew of her) before she came on this show, but the 'real her' is just so unlikable. She is absolutely mad! What she texted to Kim was just so, so strange ... and good on Kim for retaining her texts and reading them out! Lisa is just such a know-it-all, and an aggressive one at that. Even the way she talks to her daughters - I got a bit of an 'off' feeling about her when she mocked them about something in the kitchen and said the fancy private school she was paying for was worth it - is strange. It's almost as if she feels she has to remind them that she's Queen Bee all the time. I recall a friend of a friend telling me about visiting the store she used to have ('Belle Gray' - I think it was in Sherman Oaks?) - and how Lisa was there, being incredibly rude and bossy to the staff and throwing tantrums. Apparently the store had framed photos of her everywhere (!). When Lisa wasn't in the store, the staff used to stand around complaining about what a B-word she was. Upon hearing all that I just shrugged and thought 'meh', but now I can see there was probably merit in all of that! I don't think Lisa brings anything to the show at all ... I'm sure I read somewhere that she's been wanting in on it for quite some time but Andy resisted ... and the season before last several outlets were reporting that it was a sure thing that she'd come on (heck, she probably planted those stories) ... yet didn't ... I wonder what the story was there. I just feel like she's a washed up actress who brings nothing to the table. And her house isn't even anything to get excited about ... it looks dusty and old. I wish they'd bring Heather Locklear on as a replacement ... she'd be way more fun and has a gorgeous home, plus an interesting daughter and ex-husband. I would suggest Denise Richards, who also has a nice home, but that's for sale, she's a friend of Rinna, and she was boring on her own show.
