That place is NOISY! And the kids look tired.
Interesting, they have figurines that seemingly show the 3 Wise Men or Nativity scene (I always thought this is just a Catholic things tbh), yet they'd pour scorn on what they view as Catholic Idol worshipping. Idiots.

Apart from the atrocious spelling and Grammar, goodness me, but the DRAMA! What's with these kind of people that they are so dramatic? Of course, nobody's ever struggled before, nobody is ever looking for the sense in it all........good grief.
Oh, and if she did do drugs, of course she will feel horribly guilty and will rave on forever about how broken she was and how grateful......blech

It would be impossible here, since we have extremely strict rules and regulations to make sure nobody is in danger. You may well end up in legal trouble in fact, if you cared to tinker with electrical bits etc by yourself

A cold good morning to you lot over there, hope your Thanksgiving was pleasant.
I took a look at TFDW Instagram - they are not an attractive family, but then, that's not their fault. Their daughter is pretty weird looking though, I hope she will grow into her looks as she'll have a miserable life in that cult if she's ugly.
What's with Priscilla's posture? Her shoulders always stoop. To say nothing of her scrunched up face. Now that's a family that needs intervention badly. I always fear for her as I think she's not that smart, believes every bit of crap that she's being told and I truly believe that TFDW has some VERY dark undercurrents

I just took a look at Jessa's Insta and saw the video with those dollar bills - they are fake, right? I am beyond appalled to see that poor child Jennifer. Are they effing blind??????? I've seldom look a child that unhappy. And not one of them give a flying fuck about it!
Isn't there a Social Services or something that could intervene? It breaks my heart, literally

I think it's because pants reminds us that women have legs - and a defrauding area between them.
Actually I think it is due to some cherry-picked Bible verse about men wearing men's garments and women wearing women's. So I dunno, I think everyone should be wearing robes of some type. But the patriarchal authority figures get to define "appropriate" garb however they wish, and the sheep follow blindly.
And yet their "Men" always seem to feminine and wimpy to me. Granted, the Duggar boys aren't exactly hitting the jackpot in the looks department and seem to go flabby and bald as soon as they hit 16, but nothing about them says "I'm a MAN, huaaaaaaaaar".
Dito the Wallers, not excepting TFDW, or even Chad Paine, who always seems somewhat soft. I think the Bates Boys are the nearest to "real men" that would fit my description

I wonder if Dim Bulb and Meeeeechelle are finding it hard to talk and be together. This "new season of life" for Meeeeeeeeechelle must be difficult to adjust, slowly entering menopause, middle age and all that.
She hasn't been pregnant for over 5 years and even she and DB must realise that this is it. That leaves very little else.
There's only 5 more kids under 13, as per a poster on Facebook and that made me think. Granted, the youngest is 5 and technically, they will have plenty of opportunity to be parents and bring them up, but her babymaking days are forever gone.
So what's left for them as a couple? Sex? I believe that will be less of an issue, even given Dim Bulb's obvious need for it. Even he is getting older after all. Do they talk? Doubt it. There's only so much pseudo religious crap you can talk.
I do wonder if they are growing apart somewhat. It feels like the family is kind of falling apart at the seams, where everyone does whatever really. Something about the video with Josie touched me. Normally, I can't stand that child, but this time, I don't know. There was something, she wasn't being her usual disturbed self, seemed a little more "mature" and the way she said "nobody" seemed to speak to me of neglect and uncaring surroundings.

Hope this is the right thread, picking up on something said on the Binjessaspurge thread......
The Duggars don't do christenings as infants, do they? They believe in baptism as an informed choice later on. Was there ever an episode where any of the kids actually shows an interest in becoming "Christian"? I've only watched the odd show on You Tube since we don't get it here, but even then I always wondered at the lack of actual Religion in their daily lives, like praying before meals or going to Church (or their Basement if they must).
They blather on and on about Religion, yet seem to actually live none of it and practice even less, apart from legalistic crap

I do think that Bin is somewhat traumatised by the birth, lots of men are when they see the reality of childbirth. It's not pretty, is it?
Their religion is hate filled, full of fear and threats and very little joy. So sad for those children.
Bin is an idiot, of course. I wonder what all those leg humpers would say if they strip the pseudo religious fakery and all that is left would be two near teenagers with a child, jobless, no education, no money......

I'd never heard of the Willis family, so I looked them up and watched a few videos. Frankly, I'm horrified. Pushy parents who will stop at nothing to have their children on the stage to become famous.
When do these kids ever have time to themselves, or have friends? The amount of stuff they do is staggering. Irish Dancing alone for example, several seem to have competed at Feis, that would take a HUGE amount of training every single day.
What is their relationship with the Duggars, if any?

The Bates girls really seem to have hit the jackpot, husbandwise so far. At least Alyssa and Erin have, whether Michaella is lucky will remain to be seen. But unlike the Dullards or BinJess, their husbands take them out on trips, surprise them with thoughtful gestures and genuinely seem to care. I also think that Zach is doing his best to be a good husband.

Ok, I have now officially taken agin Derick (yes, agin.........Marian Keyes Fans may understand this). He is so rough with the poor wee mite! Pushing, grabbing and shoving him down. I am disgusted.
Derick has turned into a Duggar, slovenly, lazy, money grabbing, famewhoring........the list goes on. How I hoped he'd show Jilly Muffins that there is life out there. What a disappointment he's turned out to be. He is just as despiccable to me as Dim Bulb and MEchelle

MEchelle needs help. Badly. I listened to the emergency call and was horrified. This goes way beyond a calm Mum who wants to get help. She sounds vague, disorientated, doesn't know Jessa's age, seems totally zoned out.
It's long been my firm belief that she suffered mental illness, way back when she had that nervous breakdown from doing too much laundry. Seeing as they won't get psychiatric help, she has had to cope the best she can, without ever being able to admit that she is ill. Sad

Gosh, what drama. You'd think with all the previous history, one of them would be smart enough to go into Hospital and not try to mess around at home.
I think that reality has hit Bin very hard indeed - he was and is a teen with no experience of anything. Now he's had to put up with Missy Jessa aka Miss Self Entitled for 9 months of pregnancy which surely wasn't easy AND a very traumatic birth. Welcome to the real world honey!
You don't win Brownie points being at home. The only thing on your mind should be the wellbeing of both Mother and child.
And now to reality - babies are loud, messy, annoying at times, dirty, fussy........nights of interrupted sleep, perhaps a fussy eater, health problems. Having a baby is not all sweetness and light and I doubt that even Jessa knows how much work they are. Even MEchelle took care of her babies for the first few months I believe.
It'll be a wake up call for the both of them, perhaps they might just get some sort of sense and not breed indiscriminately. They don't have the money for that anyhow.
I wonder if Bin is freaking out inside

Funnily enough, I am beginning to think that Jessa and Bin will be the ones breaking away the most. Derick has turned out to be a terrible disappointment but those two are showing signs of independence.

When watching a Trailer where Chad comes home, I was pleasantly surprised to see Erin putting her hands up his Tshirt sleeves, it does show genuine love (and lust, cough).
I always thought Chad was fairly "manly" but now I'm not so sure. What is it with those Gothard type Boys that they are usually on the "feminine" side?

Could someone be kind enough to give me an idea of what happened with Zac and kissing? I can only watch the wee snippets that are uploaded as Trailers. He kissed before he got wed? What did the parents say?
Why an adult would even feel the need to "confess" such a thing is a different story of course.
Hated the hypocracy of the purity ring - girls must wear one, but guys just get a talk?

I do wonder, although Gil Bates is a Director within the Gothard empire, they don't seem to ship off their kids to those indoctrination camps much, do they? At least you never see or read about it........whilst the Duggars were forever shipping their kids off to one

Finally able to watch it on You Tube - I did like it.
I don't agree with their lifestyle or views, but they are more likeable than the Duggars. Kelly actually gives a damn about her children and all of them were able to express themselves freely.
The girls seem very self confident and have a certain bossiness about them, they won't suffer fools gladly I'd say. But they aren't dead like the Duggar kids ,and are doing things for themselves.
Having said that, yes, they still believe in weird things and Gil must have known about the allegations.....
I don't seem to see their kids much around those Alert/Heart journey things, I know some of the girls have been, but the Duggars seem to go more often?

Ok, that's a weird concept to me, government issued ID is not an ID card or passport necessarily then....that wouldn't fly here. Germany has a proper ID card which is valid across Europe and a normal passport as well. You would not get on board of anything with a driver's licence or similar. We like our bureaucracy here;-)
Re faith - I was going to say that faith that has never been tried isn't worth much but then I got thinking. Maybe it could be said that your faith is that big that you never doubted....
But then I'm Catholic and we are fairly big on believing that trials and tribulations are part of believing and life, unlike some of the protestant beliefs, who seem to think that favourtism is a sure sign to being God's favourite. That I find very hard to fathom indeed

She was adopted by her family yes. I think they do look happy but what really irks me is the fact that she's now skirts only, she didn't grow up like that. Legalistic and unnecessary

I feel achingly sorry for the wee one, Jennifer? She never smiles, always looks very unhappy. Very surprised they haven't beaten her up yet to show sweet countenance.
The 3 young ones, except Josie whom I cannot stand, I would dearly love to take them away and show them what real love is like

I lasted all of 5 seconds before I had to mute it - no way. WHAT is wrong with that girl? And why does nobody in their circle see it? That's not normal behaviour. These weird slitty eyes, the scrunchedupnedness......bleurgh.
The baby daughter is very looks challenged I think, but then, I didn't feel young Izzy was a cute baby. He seems to grow into his looks now though.
I do continue to think that TFDW has serious issues and hope he isn't taking it out on her.
On a slightly different note, is anyone else beginning to find Lawson Bates ever so slightly smug and annoying? He is the only one to have Insta without any reason, he's not married or courting. What does he actually DO all day? He seems to have an awful lot of time on his hands
