  1. And that is a perfect summation of the situation. Li is proving to be two things I absolutely detest; a parent shamer and an elitist snob who feels that anyone who didn't go to college and become a doctor, lawyer, engineer or rocket scientist, aren't worth the air they breath. I mean really, Li isn't going to let Luna ruin her life again? I believe if a person wants to die with dignity, or doing what they love, then that is what they should do. I don't understand people who want to mountain climb, or skydive, or deep water dive, but if that is their thing and makes them happy, and they die doing it? Would it have been better to keep them safe, sitting in a chair, watching tv and being miserable? Eric is an artist, and artists need to create; it is how they express themselves. Let him do what he needs to do. This would be a good time to introduce Li's sister; as an artist she could support Eric and royally piss Li off. I get the whole stapler thing too. It's not about the object, so much as it is about its importance in what you have achieved in life with it sitting right next to you.
  2. I'm surprised how much I am enjoying the addition of Luna and her mom, although I don't like how they have destroyed Li's character to do it. I would very much like to know exactly who Luna's father is, and maybe get some info on her grandfather. It was nice to see Luna get some backbone and tell her aunt to fuck off. All in all, I think Show is going pretty well right now; it is so nice to have a break from Bridge, Taylor/Ridge/Brooke, and Hope/Liam/Steffy. Hope and Thomas are all kinda wrong, but damn, they are all kinda HOTT too! Sheila and Deacon are surely stinking the place up, but still, they are different and there is no triangle. Luna and Li are very intriguing. RJ and Luna are cute. We still wait to see what is going on with Eric. And we have a quasi business SL too! Imagine that, six separate stories going at once, and not a triangle among them.
  3. Well, looks like it isn't Finn, and as pointed out above, Jack was not a doctor. So, I am back at square one with Li's hatred towards her niece and sister. We have not heard a word about Luna's father; could be wrapped up in that I guess. But none of it would be Luna's doing. I like that RJ is attaching the situation head on, not dancing around Li, just calling her in to tell her to shut the fuck up. Even so, it seems Li still thinks she runs FC's. As much as I hate Sheila and Deacon, this is exactly what I didn't want to see. A parade of people showing up at his door to tell him how insane he is. It is a repeat of what we had with Bill, and I don't need to see it all again. Speaking of Bill, where the hell is he? Maybe Li's sister could come to town and meet the man who saved Li?
  4. I don't think it is so much about the Forrester's, as it is about the Forrester's finding out that Finn or Jack fucked Li's sister, and she wound up pregnant. I think for Li it is about the embarrassment, it wouldn't be so bad if it was Jack because they already know he stepped out on Li with Sheila, but Finn? Holy cow, that would knock the wigs off of Steffy and Taylor's heads.
  5. OMG, this didn't even cross my mind. Well, that could put a whole new spin on things if Luna was Finn's kid. I don't really see how that would be possible, but this is B&B, so who knows. And this too; holy crap! Then that would mean that Li already knew Jack fucked around before she found out about Sheila. Oh, I don't know if I could stay with a man that sexed up my sister, but with the way Li feels about her, maybe she put all the blame on her sister, and gave Jack a pass.
  6. Well, just like that, any liking and respect I had for Li flew out the window. I absolutely detest people who parent shame. Luna is not responsible for her mother's actions. What ever happened between Li and her sister needs to stay between them. Li's harsh words to Luna about her mother were uncalled for, because at the end of the day, she is still Luna's mother and someone she loves no matter how Li feels about her. Worse still, was her contemptuous insinuation that Luna was working an angle, that Luna was a grifter looking for her pot of gold, while Luna was clearly trying to reach her aunt, and seemed to have some love for her. I simply wanted to slap Li into next year. Oh, and she can go pound an entire desert of sand up her ass with her nonsense that Luna had to leave. It made me so damn mad that I want RJ to propose to Luna before their second kiss. Sheila thinks Hope staying to listen meant something? Hope is a forgiving, loving, understanding person, but there is a limit. And Deacon going on about how Sheila is a changed woman. How so? Because you said you love her? Go talk to Eric about how that worked out for him. They are definitely shaping up something between Hope and Finn. I would be on board for that except it will fly in the face of Hope's declarations about wanting to be with a man that only wants her. Finn will always have feelings for Steffy and will always be tied to her through Hayes. And I can see everyone glomming on to break them up, with Taylor, Steffy and Thomas leading the charge.
  7. I am rethinking this whole Luna thing. Maybe it isn't about her at all but her mother. Luna stated that she had a mother and grandfather that were "free spirits", but her aunt was not, so maybe this is about Li being one way and her sibling and dad being another? I just don't see what a girl Luna's age could have done to warrant all this drama. I am tired of everyone squawking about how much Eric's line is costing. Shut the fuck up; it is Eric's company. Agreed about Hope's harsh eyeliner, it is too dark against her pale skin and makes her look rather vampireish. AN, much like her on screen mom, is a natural beauty. KKL always had that fresh faced look and the inner glow that comes from a life dedicated to health and fitness. Young Brooke often went with minimal or no makeup and still looked good. Hope looks much better with softer, better blended makeup.
  8. Good for Finn. Deacon, you just don't get it. Believing in second chances and redemption is great, but buddy, Sheila has already had her second, third, and 998,874,887th chance. And trying to compare your turn around to Sheila's is like comparing apples to oranges. You were a bad boy, but you weren't a psychotic kidnapping killer. You think you know Sheila, but you don't; no one does. Everything will go along fine until someone gets in her way. The minute someone tries to stop her from doing what she wants, or what she feels entitled to, is the minute she will start talking to herself about having to "do something" and having to "stop them." Generally, that includes balconies, bees, mercury, knives and guns. You better pray that someone isn't Hope.
  9. Lots of confusion for me. Why should it matter if Luna hangs with the Forrester's? So she is Finn's cousin and Li's niece; neither of them knew the Forrester's until Steffy became an addict. They don't have long complicated histories with the family. My only thought is that maybe Luna has some type of checkered background that Li would not want her son's in-laws to know about? I also wonder about Eric's remarks about taking the company back. He is acting like Ridge is a corporate raider who stole it from him. Is this about his mortality staring him in the face? Some sort of dementia? He has become quite combative and irrational, but that could also be frustration in not being able to design. And yes, coughing up blood is a signal to get to the hospital instead of pining for your hand to let you play the piano. Deacon is actually doing this. He is not only going to marry that psycho, but he is going to tell Finn about it and say he will keep Sheila away from him? What magical powers does Sheila's cooter possess? We all know Brooke's is golden, and casts a life long love spell over men, but Sheila's has some dark mojo going on. Deacon actually thinks he has a handle on her. Wait until she starts targeting Hope, trying to get her into Finn's bed. Deacon is in for some very hard and painful lessons.
  10. Taylor once again with her misguided and delusional rationalizing, and still on the Logan hate train. This woman really needs to start adulting, and maybe she should also consider some "therapy" for herself. Hope is targeting Thomas? For what? She already has money and fame, so what would she be targeting him for exactly? She is also sweet and beautiful, and could have her pick of available LA men, so it isn't like your Tommy Boy is the only man out there. And again, with the nonsense about how Brooke targeted Ridge from the moment she saw him. No, Brooke fell in love with Ridge from the moment she saw him, you know, sorta like you did too. I mean, it didn't go unnoticed how you were molding yourself onto Ridge before they had even put any dirt on Caroline's grave. Oh, but that was all about "helping" Ridge through his grief; a woman he didn't know from Adam, but one who felt she was more qualified than his family and Brooke, his ex-fiancé. For some reason you have always felt that it was ok for you to obsess love Ridge to distraction, expecting Brooke to just get over the man she had loved for years, always standing on the moral high ground that Ridge was your husband. Come on Taylor, we all know how and why that happened. You were so stupid and short sighted that you never saw your marriage was all about Brooke, and Ridge trying to put a stop to his relationship with her. No, that was something your arrogance and sanctimonious bullshit would not allow. And now here you are, more than thirty years later, still pounding the same drum, and accusing Hope of becoming her mother. And so what of it? What would be so terrible about that? Brooke's "scandalous" history is so much smoke and mirrors. The only thing scandalous Brooke ever did was sleep with her son-in-law, and that occurred much later in her life. I don't want to hear that having relationships was wrong. Brooke was trying to break free of Ridge and was seeing other men to do that. I swear, it is like Brooke could not win; if she pined for Ridge, she was wrong, and if she tried to move on, she was wrong. All the SFTV stuff was bullshit too. That was in Stephanie's head because Brooke married Eric. There is a clear definition of a slut, and Brooke has never come close to it. She didn't sleep around, and she was in committed relationships with all her suitors, except Deacon. In her lifetime, Brooke has been with 9 men, and has been married to 6 of them. She also didn't fuck Taylor's son and father. Stephanie and Taylor were simply eaten up with jealousy. Rewatching old episodes has reminded me how many times Stephanie went to see Brooke to tell her how the family was "done with her." How they could all see what and who she was. The very next minute we have Ridge, or Eric, or Thorne coming to see Brooke to tell her how they would always be there for her. Stephanie thought by saying it, that it would make it true. Her most desperate wish was that all the Forrester men would turn on Brooke, and she and Taylor could never understand the continued support and love they gave her. Just like they could never understand how men could never get over loving her, thinking her relationships were all about sex, another way they tried to compartmentalize her and make her seem like less of a person than themselves. Brooke was absolutely a sex kitten who knew how to keep her man happy in the bedroom, but she was also supportive and funny, while Stephanie was a frigid old hag, and Taylor was an insecure crybaby. I am glad that Hope found her voice and gave Taylor some smack back. I thoroughly enjoyed Hope's nonchalance at Taylor's advice, rantings, and delusions. Hope is winning the show right now with her take no prisoners demeanor. I am also very, very tired of everyone going on about whose fault it is. It is no one's fault. Their history notwithstanding; Hope and Thomas are two consenting adults, who have decided to take it to the next level. It was a choice. Where it goes remains to be seen. Deacon is dead to me. How was he alone? After years of trying, he finally has his daughter back in his life, as well as his granddaughter. He also is back on good terms with Brooke. You want a fuck buddy? Or even a real relationship? There are a lot of available women in LA Deacon. You are an attractive, charming and accomplished man. And you are going to throw it all down the toilet to marry a fucking psycho, who has targeted the people you have claimed to love?
  11. I am not 100% on all the facts/timeline, but Sheila was a nurse who worked with Lauren's husband Scott, who was a doctor. Sheila fell in love with him and eventually drugged Scott and had sex with him and wound up pregnant; Lauren was also pregnant but did not tell Scott. When Sheila told Scott she was pregnant, he divorced Lauren to "do the right thing" by Sheila. Then Sheila had a miscarriage but did not tell Scott about it and went out and bought a black market baby to switch with Lauren's after she gave birth, taking Lauren's child as her own. The black market baby eventually died, and at some point Sheila's mother found out the whole sordid truth and told Lauren. That is when Sheila got them both out to Molly's farm and set fire to the place trying to kill them. Afterward, Sheila was presumed dead, but of course, that is when she was getting her job a Forrester Creations.
  12. Just when you think the end is near; Sheila overhears Deacon laying out his love. UGH. And fucking UGH again. I simply can't with any of it. There has only been one woman that Deacon has ever loved, and you're trying to tell me that he now loves the woman who severely fucked with her life? A known murderer? A friggin psychopath? For some reason they always want to ruin Deacon by having him do stupid shit, but this ish is beyond the pale. They are making me dislike a character that I have always loved. Stop this nonsense! There are other options for Deacon; let him start talking with Taylor again. Bring Bridget back and explore that. Have Li drop in for a cup of tea, and they find they have a connection. I am really wondering where we are going with Eric. Has JM said anything about wanting to retire, or leave the show? I am hella annoyed at just about everyone; Brooke, Ridge, Carter....for making Eric's need to design more about profits and cost. Their collective need to put Eric out to pasture is infuriating, going on about how he is hurting the company. You stupid fucks, that company is Eric, his name is on the building and the label, not Marone, Logan or Walton. You can all take several seats and open a big bottle of STFU. Douglas's parent trapping notwithstanding; Hope and Thomas continue to grow on me. Hope seems like the weight of the world is off her shoulders. Let her explore with freedom and no constraints. If it turns out to be all about sex, then so be it. The girl needed to break the mold and she finally found the courage to do it. AH Liam, just absolutely hell NO! What person uses a key to let themselves into someone else's home, when they know that person is still living there, and is probably there? The only way I can see that happening is in the event of some emergency, but to just casually open the door and walk in, and then have attitude? Finn is off base of course, but only about why Steffy left him. He is, however, completely on point about Liam and his motivations. I think we are fixin to see Finn's dark genes emerge, between Li's words about "thinking outside the box", and Liam baiting him about being able to cut Sheila out of his life. Maybe we could have a showdown with Finn, Liam, and Sheila at the cliff, with a tussle breaking out sending Sheila and Liam over the edge.
  13. Li to the rescue! Listen up to your mom Finn, her advise might go against your grain, but it is the best you have gotten from anyone. And of course Sheila will run and hide in the bathroom. It would be fitting if Hope arrived and was having some um........digestive issues.........and Sheila had to go the extra mile to hide behind the shower curtain while Hope relieves herself.
  14. So, if Ridge said no go to Eric, then Eric would just tuck tail and run? Ridge, along with his daughter, run Forrester, but they do not own it. I remain confused. Brooke is making the full transition to Stephaniehood. Trying to run Hope's life, and tell her who to be with, and throwing her full support behind Ridge. It has been a long time since there was drama between Brooke and Donna. The last time I remember was when Ridge started dating Donna and made her the Bedroom Line model. But it does appear they are hammering out the camps. Brooks outfit reminded me of Goldie Hawn in Laugh In:
  15. So, we haven't heard nary a word about couture in months? Years maybe? But now, all of a sudden, it is on everyone's lips and minds. As is Eric being a legend, the man who started it all, the man who is not ready to retire. We have discussions of Eric needing to step back, of who will succeed him. We have Thomas, who's whole entire life has been HFTF, suddenly declaring his interest in couture to his father, who is only too happy to help Thomas learn a craft he has been actively practicing for years. There is Eric, who has not expressed one iota of interest in designing or running the company, having a meltdown over the position he awarded Ridge, and declaring war against him. RJ, who has steadfastly refused to pick up the pencil, is now fully on board. Yes, we are gearing up for a showdown between father/son and grandfather/grandson. The well-known and the up and coming, and the legend and the unknown. Things matter Show: Build Up Subtlety Lead Ins Ground Work Continuity But I will take it all the same because it isn't another love triangle. I will also take it because it involves Eric, a core character, and is not about his manly parts faltering. Eric doesn't need anyone's permission or approval to design a line for the company he founded. Ridge's dismissal of his father's need to design is nasty, and mean, and hella arrogant.
  16. Steffy knows that a full frontal assault on Sheila will only make things worse, which puts Finn in a no win situation. If he pokes the angry bear, that will only stir up more trouble, and if he doesn't poke it, then he will be accused of colluding with the enemy. They could beef up security around Cliff House, but I don't think Steffy will ever feel safe again as long as Finn is in the picture. Unfortunately for him, he still doesn't understand the lingering effects of his actions with Sheila. He thinks rational talk will be all it takes. He should know better after spending all that alone time with her after he was shot. I refuse to watch Liam, and I didn't want to have a rage blackout, so I skipped Ridge bullying Deacon.
  17. Deacon sees the crazy right? I mean, there are plenty of people out there that commit murder, or attempt to commit murder, but that doesn't mean they are psychos. They are just wretched, miserable, mean assed people, but that is not Sheila. The fact that Sheila won't listen to any reason, or rational thinking, but remains 110% focused on Finn, should tell Deacon it is time to clean his fucking house. For reasons I don't really understand I kinda giggled a little when Sheila's head popped around the corner.
  18. Really Ridge? What an arrogant fuck you are. Who are you to go pounding on someone's door demanding anything? And you always pull the "Hope is my family/daughter" card when it suits your agenda, and since your agenda is to always annoy Deacon, you pulled it yesterday. No, my demanding asshole, Hope is Deacon's daughter, for you she has always been the family "stain." The only saving grace was Deacon telling you about yourself, and how he didn't appreciate you barging into his home with your demands, and how he also didn't appreciate you violating the confidence that was shared when you and Bill were working your failed plan to nail Sheila. Ridge is just butt hurt because the plan ultimately failed, after all that hard work he put in sitting in the basement of Spencer Publications, sharing donuts with the FBI. Another good thing might be that this encounter may be enough to have Deacon be done with Sheila. You go RJ! Take all that influencing power of yours and put it to good use with your grandad. I hate to admit it, but I found Finn and Steffy kinda cute yesterday.
  19. OH! Some good ole fashioned design office sex! Hope is really channeling her mom; how many times has Brooke locked that door over the years? Steam room next? What are Ridge and Carter up too? My guess is a restraining order, but I don't think that would come from Carter or Ridge. Are they going to try and buy her off? Make some sort of deal to get her out of town? If it will get her away from Deacon, then I am on board. I think RJ and Eric are adorable together.
  20. Annika Noelle's skin though..... I am just loving this new version of Hope, still the sweet person she has always been, but is developing that sharper edge. At this point, I would rather see her with Thomas than Liam, just because it would serve a waffle right. What I really want, is for Steffy to reunite with Finn and Hope move on to anyone not Liam so he is left with NOTHING AND NO ONE. I felt bad for Eric, it is horrible to not be able to do your thing due to physical limitations. The only thing my mom has enjoyed in her later years is playing her match 3 games, but she has AMD and her gaming world is slowing fading away. It simply breaks my heart to see her leaning into her monitor, nearly touching it she has to get so close. If RJ can help Eric get what is in his head down on paper, then I am all about it. For me it won't be the same as Ridge/Caroline, because that was to spark a romance between them, but this is more about saving someone's dignity, so I am ok with it.
  21. A good stapler is damn hard to find; they are either too heavy, or too bulky, or too sharp, or too long. I have one that is light, fits perfectly in the palm of my hand, with nice smooth edges. I have had it for over 20 years, and I would cut the hand off that tried to pilfer it! As glad as I am they are giving us something new with Eric and Ridge, I wish there had been some kind of lead up to Eric feeling this way, some type of build up showing him growing discontented with the current status quo. We could have seen him discussing it with Donna, or Brooke, or even himself. It just feels like it came out of left field, but I will take it all the same. Eric's dismissive "you can go now" to Ridge nearly had me peeing my pants. Finn said he would stay at Eric's and Steffy didn't take him up on it, that has me hella worried.
  22. Of all the possible scenarios or SLs I could have imagined, I would never have considered one with Eric. The character has been so watered down, only appearing to echo everyone else's thoughts on this or that marriage, or the fact that Sheila is loose and "not behind bars." And with Show's soul focus being love triangles, I would just have never considered Eric for any front burner SL. So, let me say how encouraged I am with his and Ridge's conversation. Ridge was rude, insulting, and dismissive and completely clueless to that fact. Also troubling, is how Ridge reacted to Eric wanting to do a couture line. Isn't that what the house of Forrester is known for? Do they only do HFTF now? Ridge was acting like Eric wanting to design a couture line was the most far fetched thing he had ever heard. And really, why does fucking Eric Forrester need permission to do his life's work for the company he founded? But for heaven's sake, we are so overdue for something besides partner swapping and love triangles. My fellow posters have done more than a sufficient job of taking Liam's worthless ass to task, so I won't add on. I also hope that Finn reunites and disappear for a bit, leaving Liam twisting in the wind. I would imagine it would take him all of five minutes to change his mind about Hope, but if things go right she will be involved with Wyatt by then.
  23. I suppose we will have three full weeks of everyone discussing Hope and Liam's marriage. I am disappointed in Hope. She can break it off with Thomas, but that doesn't mean she has to reconcile with Liam. She is obviously conflicted about her life, so instead of making another decision while in this state, she should tell everyone to fuck the hell off and then take a much needed time out. Let the kids stay with their dads for a few weeks and take a vacation to some sunny beach and think about stuff without everyone pressuring you and telling you what you should do. And while Hope is away pondering her next steps, can we get some new SL's? Let's see, we have Wyatt who hasn't had a SL outside of counseling Liam in over a year. Then we have RJ, who was apparently brought back to also be a counselor and family advisor. Isn't he supposed to be an influencer? Why can't he get something started with Spencer? And we still have Li, who has no SL, but would be all kinds of awesome with Bill, who is also languishing. How about you have Taylor rekindle her friendship with Deacon? I don't like Taylor, but I dislike Sheila even more and maybe starting a relationship with someone who is not a psycho will help Deacon step away and forget all about that nonsense.
  24. I guess Liam has forgotten, or has chosen not to remember, all of Steffy's machinations. No, she didn't intentionally keep your child from you, but she sure as hell pitched a fit when you and Hope dared to claim her. Also, there is gondolas, and still warm wedding rings, and collaborating with your dad to break you and Hope up. So, Steffy isn't squeaky clean, and most of her attacks have been against your wife, but you expect your wife to be just fucking ok with you keeping Steffy in your life and in the middle of your marriage. It took all of a week for Bridge to begin imploding.
  25. Liam simply spins on a dime; now he is back in love with Hope? Or could it be that he needs to keep both sides buttered since Steffy shut him down? I am disheartened that it seems Hope is backtracking. I don't want to see her with Thomas; in reality I see Thomas as a springboard to better things, but I really don't want to see her reconcile with Liam. My prediction: I think Steffy's terrified persona is due to her realizing on some level that she has feelings for Liam and wants to rekindle their life together. Hope and Liam will reunite, which will send a confused and distressed Steffy running back to Finn. At some point, Hope will find out how Liam had been telling everyone, including Steffy, about his great love for her, and how much he wanted her back because he should have never left her. Hope will see that as him clearly saying he chose liver over fillet mignon. Additionally, she and Finn will find out about the kiss in Paris and in LA, this will coincide with Liam finding out Hope shagged Thomas before they even signed the divorce papers. It will all explode like Mt. St. Helens, and will leave all four of them broken and angry and hurt. Hope will realize her mistake too late but tells Liam to go to his true love. Finn is devasted that Steffy kept stuff from him again and moves out of Cliff House, opening the door for Liam to move back in. This is when Sheila's dark genes will manifest in Finn, and he will start a campaign to ruin, hurt, or kill Liam. Sheila will see her son following her path in life and will be the one to stop him from doing anything horrible, effectively redeeming her, or partially redeeming her, and leading her to genuinely want to "get better." A stretch I know, but if they are going to keep her as a permanent cast member, they have to do something different with the character.
