  1. I'm very glad that the GD Bros went home. I was appalled that one of them was using a handicapped scooter around the store. Being handicapped myself, I know how difficult it is to find one of those -- there are only a small amount of them in stores and if there is not one available, you either wait for half an hour or you go to another store. Yet, this young healthy guy thought it would be fun to ride around the store in one, even though he was perfectly capable of walking. Shame! I love coming to this forum -- I am always out of step with everyone else it seems. I love Waffle Love and I hope they win. They are nice and friendly to everyone. And no, I am not a Mormon. I just like nice people whose every word is not a swear word and who dress nicely. Yes, I'm old fashioned (and old) but they are a breath of fresh air.
  2. Well, I can see I am in the minority here -- at least in this forum - but I loved it! I reminded me of Vikings, one of my favorite shows. I don't expect perfection from my tv shows so maybe I am a little more tolerant of the errors, but I thought the show was fast paced, the plot was interesting and the acting passable. It probably helps that blood and gore doesn't bother me. And I've loved all of Kurt Sutter's shows (well, Shield and SoA -- are there more?) I'm in for the long haul!
  3. Longmire has to continue -- there are so many cliffhangers to resolve! Is Henry going to jail again? (Nooooo!) Is the doc going to die? (I hope not -- I like her) Is Travis coming back? (I hope so) Is Nighthorse changing into a good character. (That would be nice since I like A. Martinez) Excellent episode -- a lot crammed into less than an hour.
  4. Is it just me or is Gab pretty much useless? She killed someone and thinks she can go home with no consequences? She can't help Henry who is trying desperately to help her -- he has to take out his own bullet. She can barely hold the mirror. And he walks all over the place with a bullet hole in his leg and she never once helps him. He has to swim across the river with a heavy burden (Gab who, of course, can't swim or even try) on his back. I know they are trying to make her a victim -- but come on. Victim is one thing -- helpless idiot is another.
  5. DirectV had technical problems so it didn't tape. I waited for the "on demand" version and all I got was an hour of a screen saying the same - technical problems. So I came to the forum to see what I had missed -- and it looks like I didn't miss a thing!
  6. I loved the Nashville couple. They didn't need granite, stainless and it was a breath of fresh air. I thought her singing voice was very nice.
