Oh man, Tara. I wanted to be convinced to watch this movie but even this attempt seems like a stretch. I don't know if I can stomach it.

For more about growing up in the church and having no life skills, read Remini's book - she goes into that for a couple of chapters. I think Kate Bornstein's book about her life in Scientology might go into that a little too.

This is my problem with every high school TV show: Why are they picking colleges/getting acceptance letters like 5 minutes before graduation? We picked colleges in like, February.

Thank you for noticing that Beverly Hills is nowhere near the beach, and that therefore, the Beverly Hills Beach Club, where they hung out every summer, makes no sense! I just noticed not too long ago that Henry went on to be Chief Webber on Grey's. Mind blown!

I took the SATs in 1996 or so, and it was a big deal. I did a prep course, and had private tutors, which is what most kids in my public school did. I refused to study on my own though, and just really can't do math, so my scores were not that good. I'm so glad that many colleges are now not requiring them!
