Still the same situation with a totally different reaction from the public.

I'm not sure it is the same situation exactly but  I'M HERE FOR IT!!!!!!

For some reason, this has captured the public's attention and I'M HERE FOR IT!!!!

Can't wait to see what Bravo does with the reunion.

  2. Interesting.  While I have riffed on Rachel, I don't by any means give Tom a pass.  Rachel is just giving us lots to work with regarding her incredible (alleged) vulnerability and now love addiction.  For example, Tom has not come out and blamed his acoustic tone-deafness being transferred to his emotional tone-deafness. Although that would be kinda funny.

Tom and Rachel are both damaged goods at this point.  The difference is Tom stands to lose lots of $$$ and I'm here for it.

  3. Quote

In her statement, first issued to ET, RL adds that she's been speaking to a counselor and has realized she exhibits patterns of "codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved." She goes on to say she's sought emotional validation through intimate connections throughout her life -- oftentimes at the expense of others ... and she's taking steps to make "healthier choices" now.

Yep, this was definitely not her fault.  Rather being and feeling loved, she is addicted to it.  Of course.......

But in the long term? I fear, even as bad as it is; Lisa, Andy, producers, etc all have money in this. So if they decide he's to be rehabilitated? It will happen. We'll get tear-filled confessionals from him and Raquel. We'll get editing that will make Ariana look like the problem.

    Please NO!!!

I din't realize the reunion is so near.  From what I've read, Sandoval's rationale is that he and Ariana have been having problems for a long time and he was sparing her feelings when he was cheating on her?  Uh, okay.  Doesn't even begin to fly which is why nobody is standing by him (except perhaps Schwartz?).

Rachel's defense is that even though she is a college grad and had been living with and engaged, she is too stupid to know better?  Mi chapeau, that will be hard to argue with that the reunion.

Cast to Rachel--You crossed a huge line here!

Rachel to cast--Quit picking on me, I'm mentally challenged!  I have a low IQ and am low-functioning!

    Cast--Mouths shut. *Blinks collective eyes*

Cast to Tom--You took advantage of and slept with a mentally challenged individual?!?  *Their eyes blazing with complete disgust at him*

Yeah, I think I can live with that.

  5. I was surprised about several things this episode (and last).  First, they are all on a weight loss journey and they had a hard time walking half a mile?  That is only two times around a track.  I could better understand it if they had current mobility issues but it looks like they don't other than mobility avoidance.

Second, were they really surprised by the meals and portions?  I thought they might have been (but I'm not going back to re-watch); shouldn't this be standard patient education both pre- and post-surgery?

Third, I was mortified watching the spin class.  I ride bikes and sometimes narrow saddles (where weight rests on "sit bones") can be more comfortable than wider saddles.  But I was really worried about their thighs and them rubbing together.  That was not a good cardio option.  The balance board obstacle course seemed way too dangerous to me.  I think a fall could result in a very serious injury.

I really hope they all succeed.

  6. Another episode and another night of me pouring myself a tall glass of NOPE.

Is it still Ramadan?  I'm wondering what sect of Islam Jen practices so I copied the Wikipedia definition of Ramadan below:

Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, self-improvement, and heightened devotion and worship. Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam. The fast (sawm) begins at dawn and ends at sunset. In addition to abstaining from eating and drinking during this time, Muslims abstain from sexual relations[3] and sinful speech and behaviour during Ramadan fasting or month. The act of fasting is said to redirect the heart away from worldly activities, its purpose being to cleanse the soul by freeing it from harmful impurities. Muslims believe that Ramadan teaches them to practice self-discipline, self-control,[65] sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less fortunate, thus encouraging actions of generosity and compulsory charity (zakat).[66]

Does this sound like Jen in San Diego?  The take home message is anti-depressants and alcohol don't mix.  Bravo should probably have this PSA at the end of the show either before or after the suicide PSA.

I'm so bored with the Whitney/Heather conflict I can't even remember why Whitney is so angry.  I probably wouldn't listen to her either to be honest.

I also agree the black eye is most likely a result of a drunken tumble and as a poster noted above, Heather's eye looked wonky in earlier scenes.

Yara, yes- you are a grown woman who made a choice to start a family and have a baby. It's not all about you, honey; when you committed to Jovi and had his baby you must have realized that there would be some sacrifices. Of course, now we see that her ulterior motive was to be on TV, try to peddle her "Brand" (whatever that is) and leave Jovi in the dirt. I'm no fan of his, but I'm team Jovi right now. She is a conniving little thing.

Jovi needs to let Yara stay in Europe (if "let" is the correct word).  He just needs to take the baby back home with him.  His Mom will help him out, short-term, while Yara does her own thing.  Long-term, find a permanent day care solution.  Who cares what Yara does? Problem solved.

Now I need to try to remember which of these brunettes is Dana and which is…what I can only assume is an Angie?

Danna is the one with the really fat legs she was proud to display in her black skirt with the slit up the side.

I swear, these housewives are the ugliest on both the inside and outside in the Bravoverse.  I'm sort of hate watching at this point.  There has to be more interesting people in Salt Lake City; why not start showing them?!?

  9. I watched this episode twice and I still don't have any real understanding of what I just watched!  As background, I'm a casual viewer and generally do not hang on to every word uttered.  My take is this was a stupid mess.

    1.  Mia seemed pretty happy to let Wendy know Peter had a beef with her.  In my neck of the woods, these aren't fighting words.  Sort of the same as he has a bone to pick with you, as in, you forgot to return a phone call or something else minor.  I still don't know why Wendy didn't respond with something like, "We're exploring some business opportunities and if Peter is here tonight, I can talk with him about it if he has time."  The End.  Still don't follow how drinks got thrown...

    2.  After the initial outburst, Gizelle says to Karen that she is (can't quite remember the word) the hump in the middle or something?  Meaning she has to pick sides?  Uh, no, Karen does not need to pick a side.  This isn't recess on the playground.

    3.  Apparently it is very important to both Mia and Wendy to be viewed as the most business savvy cast-member.  A buddy and I used to call this FEMA (accent on the A). If this is their professional conduct, whoo boy, leading me to number 4.

    4.  I have had some professional dealings with Johns Hopkins.  I found them to be helpful and professional.  I don't think this disclaimer bodes well for Dr. Wendy but I also wonder how they were able to see and respond to the episode before it being aired on Bravo.  Curious.

Christine was telling some of the adult kids she was leaving Kody anywhere from 3 to 8 years prior to her leaving.  These are not her friends, these are her kids and Janelle's kids - their dad is Kody.

I hear what you are saying.  These are not her friends, well, yes.  Their Dad is Kody, well, no.  He is the fly-by co-star of a TLC reality show and he had no time or feelings for any of the non-Robins in his life.

Kody yelling about his sacrifices in the previews makes me snort.  I so wish somebody would ask him to reiterate why they all ended up in Flagstaff.

  11. I can't believe I watch this franchise but I do.....I don't like any of the women, I smirk with I think of them (well, Meredith) showing up in their reunion outfits next to the BH women, and I don't think anybody really has anything going for her.  I guess Jen is carrying the franchise until she gets sent down the river.  Then I think the franchise will bee put on "pause" given how weak the storylines are.

I typically think Jovi is a skeezy frat boy d-bag, but in this episode, I was team Jovi. Yara doesn't seem to understand that even if she earns money to contribute to the household, it is THEIR household and it isn't just about her and what she wants, etc.

I was very taken aback at the whole turn of "looking for apartments to purchase" in Prague.  Didn't Yara leave New Orleans proper and move some distance away?  My point is she isn't in the middle of the French quarter trying to raise her baby.  She has landed in  a pretty nice suburbia. The whole turn of events felt very bait and switch to me.  I really do get that Yara misses Europe but c'mon.   If you're making me feel bad for Yovi, well, that is really bad.

Jenni and Summit?  I smell a rat (as they say).  She has been there 3 years and this is the first time Jenni has ventured to the marketplace to buy produce?  Uh, no.  My guess is Jenni and Summit go out together, go to the same vendors, and the vendors have some loyalty to them.  Jenni going out alone would be no big deal if she went to her vendor-friends.

I'm not a Social Security expert but I guess Jenni gets about $2,500 a month.  This is based on my sister's SSDI payments (and yes I know SSDI is different than SSI).  She could afford household help or at least help in kind.  Their story doesn't make any sense to me.

Whitney said her trauma was so bad she doesn't remember her childhood.

I don't quite know what to make of this.  She said she couldn't remember her childhood when she was 17.  I was 17 as a Senior in High School; she doesn't remember being in High School at all?  I'm not saying this didn't happen; I'm saying I find it odd, and if true, I think she needs some serious help.  No snark.

Two hours later and she still hasn’t been able to stop herself. Here are two examples of things that she’s re-posting.
She is really crossing the line of even her own warped sense of decency. Unhinged. This should really sealed her fate with Bravo.

Thank you for sharing this; I don't do SM.

Rinna has really come undone.  I hope she gets the help she needs.  Seems like she is in Kelly Bensimon territory here.

As for the Hilton "reputation", Rick's  parents and grandparents disinherited the family and left almost everything to charity because of mainly Kathy and her children.

Off to left field, I am sure you have your sources for this.  You strike me as a very knowledgeable poster on this forum.

I disagree with your assessment.  As a parent weighing my own will (legal testament), I would never, ever consider my child's spouse when determining how to disburse my (meager) estate.

The Hiltons had children.  They partied.  I believe they did the very best for them they knew how.  I believe Paris was greatly affected by her journey to Montana (Idaho?).  I also believe Kathy and Rick had consultants who recommended this course of action.

In addition, I believe Rick took Mo under his wing when Mo was getting started and feelings were very hurt when Mo went his own way and took clients with him.  Kathy is allowed her rant.

Seriously, you guys what the hell is going on with Rinna's face?  She's morphed into a Marvel movie villain.  Fillers, implants (lips and maybe cheeks) along with being so so thin.   Yikes.

No kidding, when I first saw Rinna, I thought of the "cat woman,"  namely the person who wants to look like a cat who has been on the Internet.  Not a good look for either.

I agree about Dorit. From her perspective, Vanderpump threw her under the bus. She felt a friend would have tried to protect her even if she messed up with the puppy.

I never understood why Dorit got a pass and LVP was vilified over puppy gate.  No need to rehash this; if an adult with two children doesn't understand responsibility, well, I can't help them.  But good for her, she sure knew her phone was important!

I stopped watching other RH shows: OC due to Tamra (naked wasted, Jesus jugs, nastiness), NJ due to Teresa (blink-blink: thoughts can't register because, really, can anyone's IQ or  forehead be lower?), NY due to Ramona, Leah, Sonja (peeing in bushes, drunken rants), etc. The shows strayed when the women got caught up chasing the almighty buck, celebrity, or simply showed us their ugly core when fighting with each other.  No designer handbag, jewelry, or outfit (bought or rented) covers that up.

Well said.  Let's not forget Atlanta!

Just theorizing: I wonder if Kathy was feeling a little bit of insecurity about her age at the club? She initially sounded like she was worried about how she was dressed and whether or not they would let her in. So she was already feeling a little uncomfortable. Then they reject her admittedly kind of weird request to form a conga line.

Avaleigh, I appreciate your thoughts on this. I have a bit of a different perspective and please allow me to share; I'm Kathy's age and also belong to a private club in Colorado which has a dress code.  My guess is Kathy would not have gotten turned back. Private clubs aren't really that into pissing people off and she is no stranger to private clubs.

Anyway, I'm a Kathyphile but I don't understand the conga line thing.  *Kathy*  Please call me, we can dance the night away.  I can be FUN! I will not order tequila or talk about your family.  Call me.  Please!
