  1. Jill was the buddy to Joy, James and Jenny. Jenny was very distraught when Jill left but Joy stepped up to the plate. Now Joy is leaving, just down the road, but to Jenny, she knows her mother is a zombie and her world is changing again. Jana and Michael Bates are best friends, I have a feeling Michael and Brandon are looking for Jana. I really think Jana is concerned about leaving the little ones to her mom, she knows! I think that is why she is taking her time. and just concentrating raising the kids for now. Jana is so kind, while the others counted the days to leave, Jana totally thinks long term. Btw, I can't stand Derrick, the way he drags his toddler and pregnant wife all over, (to unsafe places physically and medically), not to mention he is keeping the grandkids from his own mom. I think Jill's smile is fake half the time, this is not what she signed up for.
  2. Kelly always takes the whole month of August off, and many days in June and July. I remember when Michael Strahan got the HOF award, Kelly was there, it was Aug. 1st and we didn't see her again until after labor day. I think they want Ryan there to promote AI Reboot and to have all the kids on etc. and I am sure Kelly is on her way out. They are keeping Ryan. They have or are going to build him a permanent studio. I don't think he likes NYC but I also think he is getting sick of KUWTK and he probably doesn't have that much control anymore. I get so furious when Kelly keeps harping on Gelman's cheapness. He has a budget and it is small because of Kelly's huge salary. Does anyone know when her contract is up? I am sick of her. So sick of her.
  3. Someone can google a POP article that I read that says that POP got the rights for all 15 years of ER. I think it said it was 331 episodes. So, I am sure they will eventually show them. Maybe the ratings are getting stronger as people become aware that it is on again so they are trying to hook as many as possible. When you think about it there is a whole generation that are just starting to watch it. Since Summer is slow on TV watching, maybe they will just repeat the first 6 seasons until Fall and then show all 15 seasons then. I am sorry but I don't know how to link to articles. Edit: I just looked for and cut and pasted the part that says what I indicated above and it was from Deadline.com but it was mixed in with a bunch of shows that were picked up or whatever, plus this is the only way I know how to do this........"Pop also has nabbed exclusive rights to the full, 331-episode, 15-year run of ER. The hospital drama, which made stars of George Clooney and Julianna Margulies, quietly launched on Pop two weeks ago and has been delivering strong ratings." As you can see this is an older article but when I started to see them start to repeat Season 1 again, I started searching and found this and it made me very happy as I am truly enjoying watching this show again. It's amazing how people survived without cell phones etc. in emergency situations. I forgot how much I loved Mark Greene and I wanted him as my doctor.
  4. Even though I loved the Lucy/Carter storyline and the stabbing was excellent TV, I was really sad to see Lucy go, as I have always liked Kellie Martin. When she was hired for ER she had just lost her sister, who was 19 yo at the time to Lupus. I really like the episode of Lucy and Carter going all over Chicago, as it bonded them and they had to do that for Carter to care so much when he learned that Lucy was dead. I am sure he felt like crap how he treated Lucy at the beginning, the sweet Carter suddenly turned into Benton. This is my all time favorite show and I am so enjoying watching it all over again. I watched it during the TNT reruns and for some reason I missed the last episode of the original so I was anxious to see it in reruns. They didn't show it!!! So, this is the 3rd time I have watched the entire season and I better see the last episode this time. There are still things I forgot, storylines, but I am old retired nurse so the brain goes. This reminds me of my life, my young life, but mine wasn't as full as drama.
  5. I am loving watching the reruns again on Pop. Thank you, thank you. I never could understand why someone didn't pick this up when TNT stopped. Many people never saw this show and it has so many characters that went on to be stars. George Clooney, Julianna Margulies, Mariska Hargity, not to mention all the guest stat roles like Sally Field. I have a series recording going too but I only found it with the last 3 episodes of Season 1, it is now in Season 2. I remember so many scenes like it was yesterday. I am a happy camper.
  6. Ha! That's okay, I enjoy reading this board full of liberals. You all boggle my brain but you are easier to tolerate than watching these view women. I can't stand any of them but I love Candace Bure and Paula, which I am sure you have guessed.
  7. Believe it or not, Dr. Carson is an admitted former left wing Democrat. His many surgeries and his growing faith in the Lord changed him into a completely different man. :-)
  8. Dr. Carson sometimes does appear robotic but that is a learned demeanor. For 40 years he stood in one place and performed many surgeries on babies, in and out of the womb. He has separated conjoined twins.. These surgeries lasted from 10-12 hrs. and in the conjoined twins cases lasted up to 22 hrs. He has taught himself to stand still, he has taught himself to blink extensively to clear the cobwebs from his eyes so he can remain awake and continue. That blinking works as a power nap. It is all very interesting. I was a nurse and I have watched surgeries and learned how surgeons that operate for that length of time really do teach themselves these stamina tricks. Watch Dr. Carson at the next debate. Everyone is leaning on their podiums and Dr. Carson is standing still with arms at his side. I love Dr. Carson. I think he has exceptional problem solving skills. He refused to separate these twins but then problem solved it himself, being the pioneer for twins being separated at the head and brain. If Dr. Carson can figure THAT out, then with advisors and his love of problem solving and learning, no problem would be too large for him. He would be a great POTUS. I am watching for a Dr. Carson/Ted Cruz ticket. I would like to see Marco Rubio for SOS. He is a whiz when it comes to foreign policy. Trey Gowdy for AG. Donald Trump is a joke. He is like a grade school bully. Hillary Clinton is a criminal. Maybe a Ted Cruz/Carson ticket would be better, I don't know. During the final debates of 2, Ben might appear too calm and people will take that as a lack of passion. He sure is bringing in the crowds and many are behind him. I wanted to see him on the View today but I am in the Philly area and it was preempted because of important local news. I think I will watch it On Demand.
  9. I am new, so hello there everyone. :-) The host changes have been constant for the last few years. When the show first started the hosts stayed forever before the first change was ever made. I watch sporadically, just host chat. I could care less about the guests. My thoughts about the hosts and all the changes that are happening: Rosie 0. is a much better moderator and always kept the show moving.and ligthhearted when she was moderating. But, Rosie. O needs to have alot of creative control though as Rosie does not like to be second fiddle and when given that I prefer the View with Rosie. Whoopie is there just for the easy money and it shows but I don't think Whoopie is going anywhere. I do feel very sad for her dealing with her brother's death so soon after her mother's. My feelings with Sherri is she interrupts too much. She really needs this job right now alot though. She can be very funny so I am happy they are bringing her back. Maybe she will tone it down as she certainly has had alot of life lessons since she left, She also got a real wake up call when she got dumped. I think she will reign it in more. Stacy, just no! Michelle Collins- I don't know her well, but she appears sweet. It seems like she doesn't get a chance to talk alot so I would like to hear what she has to say about things if the others would be so kind. Candace Bure, I wish they would make her a permanent host. I am a born again Christian/staunch conservative so I always agree with her. Plus she doesn't get flustered when people are not agreeing with what her POV is.. I read an article that they are thinking that Nicolle Wallace is not polarizing enough and they need someone more like Elisabeth H. so I think Candace would be perfect. A drawback is she lives in Ca. with school age children. I was not crazy about Elisabeth on the View but I think she is great on Fox and Friends. Nicolle Wallace is a really sweet person but she is more moderate than conservative. I didn't even know who she was when she came but then I watched the movie 'Game Change' where Sarah Paulson played Nicolle and my eyes were opened and I really started to respect Nicolle for giving up on Sarah Palin. As a true conservative, Sarah was never my cup of tea but who knew she was so difficult. I hope they keep Nicolle around, if for no other reason than to keep Whoopie's rants toned down. I do think they both truly like each other though. Rosie P., I am so glad she is leaving, but I truly think she was blindsighted when she was let go and for that, I feel bad for her. But, I am so tired of her talking so much and it is always about some cause. Her activism gets tiring. Raven Symone- I like her alot and I think she is learning to hold her own. I feel she has a strong dislike for Rosie P. though. Her rolling eyes says it all. Raven can be a little too liberal for me, but to each his/her own. I loved her on Cosby and I am sick about the Bill Cosby legacy being put right down the drain. What is wrong with him? I don't like The Talk but I wish that Whoopie would moderate like Julie Chen and let the hosts speak when called upon giving everyone a turn with the moderator NOT always having the last word. Of course everyone is scared to death of Julie when her husband can fire them on the spot, Well, they all leave on August 6 and come back in Sept, so we shall see. What a cushy job they have and Whoopie is well aware of this.
