Her choices of topics are leaving me disappointed. She spent what? Like hours going on about Neera (OK, slight exaggeration, but maybe it feels that way to me) & nothing about USPS & that stinkin' DeJoy -- all while I & most of my friends, neighbors, family & co-workers have experienced horrible postage delays and/or outright loss. C'mon, Rach, why is it you go nuts for a story & then just completely forget about it? The Neera story is dead, move on from it, Rach. She'll be fine in a position Biden can appoint her to, And btw, Rach, Jennifer Granholm easily sailed to a bipartisan approval -- and yet Neera is having so much trouble. Maybe cuz Jennifer hasn't insulted people the way Neera constantly has? Ya think? So Hayes had a terrific interview with Jennifer Granholm & LOD had some great discussion & interviews pertaining to the Trump taxes. So what, you might say -- but if the shows before Rach & after Rach are better than Rachel's show, I feel like something has gone really wrong -- are worlds colliding?

Well, Grenell is an idiot & he usually made dumb & shallow comments. Neera is a very smart woman & her comments were always sharp, on target & very cutting. Her comments clearly must have stung pretty hard, anyone who she directed them to. Did anyone catch the dirty looks Bernie couldn’t stop throwing her way? Grenell’s moronic comments are easy to dismiss, but Neera’s always caustic comments? Not so much. Could it be there are many more Repub snowflakes than they care to admit? Ya think? Anyhoo, like I said, while I agree with Rachel’s annoyance about what’s going on with Neera’s nom, I don’t share her anger over it. Look, if you’re gonna show up on MSNBC all day, all the time (as well as Maher), constantly saying & tweeting caustic comments, you’re gonna make enemies. She was a bad choice to be up for a position that needed to approved. Why not just put her in a position he can merely appoint? Not worth your anger, Rach — it’ll be more effective focused elsewhere.

Today was a really weird day for cable news. From this afternoon forward (for what seemed like hours & hours & hours, with no end) CNN, MSNBC & yes, even Fox, was covering Tiger non-stop. I mean, seriously, what the fuck was with this? With all the important news & the Senate hearing that happened in the morning, these news outlets felt they had to ONLY cover Tiger's non-life-threatening car accident non-stop for 6 hours? I sure as hell don't get it, but I just shut off all cable news until Rach was on -- and sure enough, she never mentioned Tiger once (that I saw) & she covered the Senate hearings as they needed to be. YAY, Rach! I agree with Rachel's Neera Tanden defense & her being supremely incensed & angered at the double standards displayed by Congress to a lowlife, despicable character like Ric Grenell. And yet, Neera has really put herself in this hot-seat, so I'm not as upset about her nomination cratering as Rach is. But the hypocrisy involved is annoying & I like to see Rach pointing it out & highlighting what a shithead Grenell is.

The one I remember was Emily asking why everyone was talking about making Puerto Rico a steak, cuz then we'll have to give out baked potatoes & then sour cream with little chives. Hee! But violins on TV was pretty good too. At least she gave us a much needed chuckle on a day where I was thoroughly annoyed with the Impeachment. Not sure I agreed with Rach saying Trump's lawyers were "weird" in their defense "strategy". Lame? Inept? Relentlessly deflecting? Lying liars? Needlessly shouting? Oh yeah, but weird? Wasn't feeling that.

And that was a long, long, long clip of her, wasn’t it? When Rachel makes me tune out, I get a bit annoyed with her. And yeah, I tuned out. I guess this can be some sort of tactic for Dems, to focus on this woman, but if she is ultimately someone with no power & no effect, then I hope Rachel realizes she is giving this awful woman a platform. Please Rach, no more 20 minute clips of this woman, cuz I refuse to watch her — if your show is gonna be constant clips of this woman, then I’m out & I mean it! The media has not come to grips with how to cover her. But Rachel should avoid any clips of her crap, let alone 20 minute ones. The last few nites she’s been starting her shows in a very long-winded way & it takes her almost a half hour to get to the important news of the day. It’s really annoying. What gives with this routine, Rach?

The Nixon stuff was way too long for me — I tuned out. C’mon Rach, we don’t need to be clunked over the head for 20 minutes with history — please don’t take up so much time with this. The interview with Jen was good. So does this mean she’ll finally, finally, finally get an interview with Biden? Sheesh, why is he & his people putting off an interview with Rach? I don’t get it— it would only benefit him. She seemed to be pushing Jen, which was good. Rach is in a very important & influential position now. It’s clear that all Biden’s people (well, at least Jen & Ron Klain) are listening to her. Remember when she was all over DeJoy & the Postal Service story? Er, nothing has changed & mail delivery still stinks, so please get back on it, Rach!

Yeah, I loved Rachel’s “tirade” on what’s going on with the Republican Party now, particularly if these Senators are willing to ignore what happened on Jan. 6th. She could be doing that every nite — cuz this can’t be emphasized enough! We already know for certain how this Impeachment is gonna play out. But if the Dems can make a strong case (showing lots of vids) and Rach continues her super smart analysis, hopefully that will have a more effective & lasting impression — to the public, rather than the Senate cuz that’s clearly a lost cause. That’s the best we can hope for. Otherwise, this Impeachment stuff is merely of the moment & we gotta move on cuz there are way bigger fish to fry for this new administration.

Idk, it seemed like Rach was preparing herself (and us) for the ugliness of what's coming with this Impeachment -- specifically, that the Dems will effectively show the awfulness of what happened on Jan. 6th & the Repub Senators will mostly ignore it. Horrifying, but predictable. Still glad Rach is around to effectively assess it, but unfortunately we'll have to move on. Honestly, I'm much more disturbed by the confidence Schumer displayed in Rachel's interview with him. I just don't trust his confidence (or his ability to match the cunning evilness of McConnell) & I'm hoping Rach stays on top of him . . .

The Schumer interview was OK, but I’d like to see Rach get tougher with him — not harsh, the way others are on him, but definitely tougher, cuz she’ll surely be interviewing him regularly. Look, she ended the interview, all happy & thrilled to report McConnell finally giving in, but he said he only did so cuz he knows there are 2 Dems who are vehemently against filibuster. Does McConnell still think he’s calling the shots in the Senate, despite now being the Minority Leader? Is Schumer being tough enough? Rachel, please assess this situation as it actually is, & try to push Schumer — hard. We need you to do this, Rach cuz he still seems like an ineffective wimp to me. Is he a match for McConnell’s scheming? I have my doubts. Rach clearly has his ear — maybe she can have some positive effect?

So was Rach rubbing it in by asking if Trump in 2015 woulda not run at all for President if he coulda foreseen her wrap-up of his miserable Presidency -- and that he'll forever be known in history as the worst President ever ever ever? Nah, Now in contrast to Rach, this is rubbing it in-

It’s not a matter of whether he fades away or not — he’s not gonna get the same kind of daily coverage. He’s not news anymore — YAY! And yes, Rachel playing that long Trump clip was certainly painful to watch & listen to, but she played it for a definite reason. It will likely be the basis of the Dems’ impeachment case. Hopefully, that will be her last Trump clip she’ll ever play — and she’ll skip showing any wacko planned farewell.

Yeah, I’m hoping as of Wednesday, we’ll start to see enormous changes in the vaccine distribution. I’m glad Rach is putting a hopeful & positive spin on it, given so many extremely capable & highly experienced people now being put in place. And that the federal government will finally be involved in a major way should hopefully make a significant difference. To constantly flash those grim Covid numbers is just so depressing. I’m glad she’s taking a break on that. Where Rach can be an enormous help to the new administration is to continue to spotlight all the awful shit the Trump horribles still left are inflicting — like Pompeo & whatever evil shit he’s doing, & Trump’s lackeys recently installed at the Defense Dept. — who knows what they could be up to? Also, there’s been a flurry of action, striking down vital EPA restrictions. Keep your spotlight on, Rach!

Surprised Rach didn’t mention the My Pillow guy. Maybe she will for a giggle on Monday? Apparently, he left the WH having made no impact at all. So much weird & tense shit going on now, looking for anything for a giggle. You know, I’m so looking forward to Wednesday — and not just cuz I won’t be forced to listen to or look at the orange shit-stain anymore. Think of what Rachel’s show will now be. She’ll be back to talking about politics, rather than spending all her time covering awful scandals & corruption & useless fools unfit for their positions, destroying the country. Is that angels I hear singing? 😀 Also, anyone notice her tone now about Covid? She could be blasting the numbers at us cuz they’re worse than ever. She’s clearly NOT doing that. In her interview with the doctor Biden just chose to head up the vaccine distribution, she seemed positive, upbeat & hopeful. Good move, Rach. 👍

Idk, Rach was making such a dramatic big deal over having Fareed on, I tuned out cuz I can see him anytime. Who's next, Rach? Chris Cuomo, Anderson Cooper & the whole CNN lineup? I wasn't thrilled she showed a needless, annoying & way too long Trump clip, but I did like that she was all over the crap happening at the Pentagon. Sheesh, will we ever stop hearing about that wormy Lewandowski creep?

I wonder if Melania’s ex-friend got bumped cuz Rach was getting into the new deets on the pardon story. I know it involved gross sleazebag Broidy, but man, that was involved & overly complicated. I hope Rach gets into it again cuz I was totally lost. Actually, I am a bit curious to hear from Stephanie cuz Melania has been subpoenaed & I’d like to know what she thinks of it.

Oh Rach, I don't even care how much awful shit you're throwing at us, describing all the awful shit Trump & his horribles are trying to get away with before he's finally thrown the fuck out. I just sleep like an itty bitty baby, now that I know Rach will be ALL OVER whatever awful shit Trump tries to pull. Thank you as always, Rach! I did kinda like Rachel's nauseated, but clearly unsurprised look when LOD told her about Trump's plans to pardon Flynn. Oh, I am so ready for a sane, uncorrupt administration, bursting with expertise & empathy -- and maybe NEVER a Trump clip played anywhere ever, ever again? Well, I can dream, can't I? 😃

Wow, that makes me feel so much less anxious! Look, Rachel’s spotlight on the roaches is still badly, badly needed until Jan 20th & Biden is finally & thankfully sworn in. So grateful you’re well & back, Rach!

No word on her Twitter, so guess we’ll have to wait till 9 tonite to see if she shows up. Given that he fired Esper on Twitter & he could be looking to burn the house down & fire everyone in sight & really start doing crazier shit than we’ve ever seen, I suspect she’ll be there.

Well, as we know, Rachel always says — Watch what they do, NOT what they say. But I really hope Rach doesn’t get sidetracked by following Trump’s foolish behavior. It’s just a waste of time. He’s totally irrelevant now. She should continue with her excellent Covid coverage & specifically spotlight any persons in this dreadful administration who are blocking Biden’s transition strategies, particularly on Covid. Hopefully, Rach will be back as usual cuz we need her now more than ever . . .

Well, I give Rachel credit for consistently stressing that standing up & making your voice heard, whether thru protests & marches or merely voting, is vital. I’m hoping her message broke thru. Or maybe people are just overall tired of the insanity & what may happen would have happened with or without Rachel. Whatever happens, Rach will still have a great show. If we do end up with another 4 years of this horror, we know she’ll be on top of it. And if he finally gets the boot, it won’t make a diff to Rach cuz she never centered her show on him anyway. The rest of MSNBC (& CNN) will be in big trouble since every single show has been made up of mostly playing Trumps clips endlessly.

LOD thanked Rach for helping us get thru this 4 year nightmare & ITA. Will this be the end of the nightmare? Rach seemed calm & hopeful & not anxious at all. Believe it or not, Rach made me feel calm & hopeful & not panicked too. Thank you, Rachel, you have been indispensable these past 4 awful years.

Keep up up the Covid coverage, Rach — just don’t get consumed by it cuz there’s plenty else to cover, like how the Trump campaign is falling apart & the Amy Coney Barrett nightmare. And Rach, would ya cover the Jared & Ivanka get upset over the billboards in Times Square story? That is just too delicious to skip past & will give viewers a much needed giggle & break from the anger.
