I did think his weight loss was impressive even if he was boring. I think he lacked some personality or his voice was too monotone, I don't know, but ultimately he seemed nice, invested, and hardworking. I am really happy for him. My interpretation was that the three girls had different fathers and Neveah was the only one whose custody arrangement had her with Cillas and Jessica 24/7. The others were gone because there was a more balanced custody assignment so Cillas was closer to Neveah. Who knows, though.

Gilbert seems so emotionally..stunted? or limited? I definitely can see individual instances where he showed care for Lupe, but overall, he was just so limited - he didn't understand how or want to support her fully, he made excuses. I felt like he wasn't a fully realized emotional person who could even understand anything outside of his own selfish needs, and less so that he was intentionally malicious (like Zsalynn's husband).

I wonder if there's a higher risk of pain med dependency in these sorts of patients - for one, it can replace the food addiction. and two, many of them seem to be dealing with depression that the pain meds can help them zone out from.

They do have such round faces! It is interesting to see how different people carry their weight - some people on the show are so much more active than others (obviously multiple reasons behind that but still), or look smaller/larger based on where the weight lies.

I definitely think he plays "characters" with everyone he has come into contact with, and there certainly seems to be a very stereotypical "switch" he makes around black people.

"It's not pain, it's discomfort" - what all of these stunted, spoiled jerks on this show (the bad ones, not the good guys) need to hear

That look in his eyes makes my skin crawl.

I think that he was refusing to talk to the therapist.

LOL when Dr. Now said "stop doing all these weird things!" -- It's obviously a psych issue and I'm sure Now knows, but I love, love, love when Now gets snarky.

Princess is amazing. And he looks absolutely off his rocker with this hair pulling. And he is an ADDICT!!!

This dad is pretty amazing. I mean, he's giving in. But for whatever reason, I respect him far more than some other families.

When are we going to deal with his obvious addiction issues?
