The Great Food Truck Race - General Discussion

No kidding! It’s totally unfair to a team to arbitrarily have faulty equipment and/or a leaky roof. I also agree that there should be a penalty for not using a challenge ingredient.- 1.5k replies

My cat Aemon Targaryen started having grand mal seizures about a month after I adopted him when he was six months old. They are controlled by phenobarbital now although he did have one last week. It’s scary to see Aemon in that state. He falls over and literally convulses. ☹️ Nice of Jess and his family to adopt such an elderly dog and give him a good home. Moses was so cute. What a handsome guy. Love Dr. Jeff B. He is funny. What was it he said? “We all like peeing” or something like that re: Bambi the rabbit’s surgery.😆 Good to see Watson again wheeling round the place! I saw a news segment about HS seniors taking engineering courses in a HS school in TX. Their project was to design wheels for two puppies (Will and Grace) born without front legs. They used a 3-D printer to fabricate the devices. The puppies were so cute zipping along.

House Hunters Renovation - General Discussion

Wolf Lake, NY: When the friend said “I can’t believe this is the same place,” I rolled my eyes and said “That’s because it isn’t, you idiot!” They ended up building a new house on an existing foundation which is fine but not really a renovation. Where was the kid’s room? He wasn’t going to sleep on that landing above the living room, was he? Was there a bathroom up there for that guest room? I didn’t see one. Too much white (definitely not cozy) for me but nice. WI: I prefer watching the homeowners doing their own work (or a lot of it) so I liked this episode better. I liked what they did. -
6/7/19 episode: I got distracted and missed the evidence the prosecution had against the guy who was convicted. What was it? The tall guy whose pubic hair (!) was found on the survivor looked exactly like the drawing made from her description.

Wow, really? What is his name (last name was Ho, right)? High-tailed it out of the country, huh? Edit: Found this link https://inewsource.org/2018/11/19/va-san-diego-research-samuel-ho/ As to who would have to share if necessary, it’s a no brainer that the two younger daughters would. The eldest looked to be a high schooler, so she would need her space. -
Why have they taken away the narrator?

They actually bought the most expensive place, the one with the big yard for the dogs! I bet the husband will get bored after awhile. Relatively young to be retired. -
The husband now has a job at Yale. They are staying with his mother.
-
New Haven, CT: I liked that couple. They were down to earth and funny. As cheap as they got the first house, they could do a good bit of reno. Would like to see how it turned out.

St. Croix: I found the wife grating. She griped about the real estate guy picking over budget houses then wanted the most expensive place. And the “This is a third bedroom?” Uh, yeah, a bed fit in there just fine. How much more does a guest need? -
If Lady Grantham, the mother of three adult daughters, on Downton Abbey could get pregnant, why not Trixie?

Puerto Vallarta: The guy going on about how much his deceased mother would want a colonial style place was annoying. The way he was carrying on, I expected her ghost to be joining them. -
Best Baker In America - General Discussion

Michael started out the season as seeming to be a real contender, then he collapsed (like tonight’s cake). His cake tonight looked more like Mardi Gras hangover than a view of the galaxy. I like Joshua. Good work! -

Niagara, NY: I thought that house turned out really cool. No “blowing out” walls to make a kitchen with a massive island. No complaining that the master was too small. Painted and reused the kitchen cabinets. Was the husband in construction? He was very handy. Maryland lakefront: I was impressed with how much of the work the husband and wife did here, too. Hated the electric “fireplace” though. -
I wonder what happened to the tit-licker. 😏

Was the actress who played Sophia the same one who played her in the series?
-
Frankly, we don’t know what she said. Whatever it was didn’t merit death.
-
I was surprised to see Jeffrey Jones, too. They kept his role minimal, at least. I did like his character getting a picture of Hearst doing the perp walk.
-
Why should a woman have to be afraid to tell a guy to get lost?
-
May 31 episode: I would love to know what the perp’s motive was. Please get rid of that blonde correspondent. She is awful.
