Surprisingly, very few OLTL actors appeared on L&O.
Kamar de los Reyes played a celebrity chef in one of the later seasons. I remember hoping that meant he was never going back to OL.
The actors who played Anna Craig and Wanda Wolek on OLTL back in the day were on lots of episodes, both playing judges. And Michael Zaslow (David Renaldi?) had a couple of memorable episodes on L&O.
ETA: Speaking of L&O, David Groh played some awful characters on it also. I still remember his turn as Brock.

It's sad that B&B (which I recently decided to check out) has as many Q's as GH does. (And Thorsten Kaye as an added bonus.) I still don't really get the backstory or even current storylines :-) but it makes me want to cry, it's so pretty. It makes the rest of the airing soaps look cheap and shopworn in comparison.
Dr. O's character (the housekeeper) on Arrow still gets mentioned online.

Then they screwed that up by making John, Colleen Brady and Santo Dimera's son, just so they could pull off that vanity project for AS and JS. I hope just reverts back to being Daphne's son.
Was Colleen Brady Shaun's sister? Did they undo Kim's paternity then or is the fact that Theresa and Brady would be what 2nd? 3rd? cousins not a big deal? (I wouldn't think so but some people hyperventilate over the cousins thing.)
I probably should go read the wiki.
ETA: I think Rex Balsom from OLTL has more paternity retcons than John. Of course, if they're not done yet... :-)

t first I thought they were going with the name change so that Brady wouldn't realize that he was lusting after his cousin. But then they went ahead and ret-conned Brady and Theresa being related so that they could pair them up.
Wait. Theresa is Shane/Kim's daughter, right? And Brady is Isabella (Kiriakis) and John's. John was an Alemain? No, a DiMera? UGH. Just who is John now?

Ok Friday's episode was not that bad. Honest to god the way people rip them apart here I spend days not wanting to watch them. Then they're not that damned bad. Lots of people talking to people on Friday.
I recently started watching again after hearing good things about Kami and agree. I've been soapless for most of the last year, thanks to the horrible mess at both Y&R and GH. DAYS seems like Shakespeare in comparison.
That said, I don't like the new Will. What does Sonny see in him anyway?

I thought it was interesting how defensive the dialog about the Doctor's age seemed. And the Doctor's obsession about why he picked this face - sounds like this is where they plan on explaining Peter Capaldi's presence in the Torchwood/Pompeii episodes?

I like the novelisation of Battlefield, turns it into this great sprawling epic. But the time and budget wasn't quite there for the TV story.
I guess I assumed that the novelizations were like the Star Trek ones, with nothing much else to add. I did like the one where the Doctor met Leela, though. (The Face of Evil)

The only thing about Love & Monsters that I liked was the melancholy of Elton's first encounter with the Doctor. The rest just makes me shudder.
But then, I love Battlefield, a story that gets very little respect. :-) It has the Brigadier, the amazing Jean Marsh and the luncacy of the whole Merlin storyline.
