  1. New Sheriff already has Norman's fingerprints and DNA. His fingerprints and a DNA sample were taken after the death of Cody's father. His DNA matched the DNA in the semen found in Blair Watson, resulting in him having to take a polygraph test.
  2. Romero's storyline is ridiculous. Why couldn't they just have continued to let him function as sheriff while he methodically went about--in a state of controlled rage--bringing Norman down? We know that Nestor could play that to perfection and I would have loved to see him and Freddie play off/torture each other during these final episodes. Watching endless scenes of Freddie with dead Norma or scenes with new characters I don't give a damn about is not emotionally satisfying for me. Whoever decided that it was a good idea to separate the main characters from each other when the show is drawing to a close needs to find a new profession.
  3. My hope is that this series ends with Romero--perhaps with help from Dylan--exposing enough of Norman's crimes to finally get Mr. Psycho committed. This show can't really be considered a prequel to the film anymore and so I see no reason to not give viewers an emotionally satisfying ending.
  4. Assuming Romero is destined for a bad end, that bad end better come at the very end of this series or I won't be watching anymore. For me the best part of this show was watching Vera and Nestor play off of each other and I really miss that now. I like Freddie but there's a limit to how much of Norman and dead Norma I'm willing to sit through.
  5. The only way Nia and Chloe will be remembered is if they get that one-in-a-million break that Maddie got when Sia chose her. That is highly unlikely. The hype on this show (Nia = Superstar) is so over-the-top that I"m amazed they can utter such nonsense without bursting out laughing. Either Holly is an accomplished actress or she's seriously delusional. Ditto for the rest of the moms with the exception of Melissa, who always looks like she's struggling to remain silent so as not to do any harm to Maddie's career.
  6. I think some of you might be missing the joke that drives this show. (This show is most definitely not a serious drama.) And that joke is that psycho Norman is surrounded by family and friends who, with the notable exception of Emma, are killing people left and right. I've lost count of the actual number of corpses but my guess is that sweet Dylan may have offed the most people since the series started. I could be wrong about that though. But with one obvious exception, none of these killers are bad people. These folks are the show's good guys. And they're good guys because everyone they've killed is not just bad but really, really bad. As in EVIL. The exception is psycho Norman's killing of Blair Watson. Though perhaps not the most innocent of teachers, she probably can be considered a basically "good" person and therefore Norman's killing of her would be counted as a "bad" thing. Which explains why Romero was bothered by it and had to know if Norman was lying or telling the truth.
  7. Norma and Alex may not have traditionally "dated" but they've already shared so many unusual experiences together that his "I hate you" made total sense. Loved, loved that scene between them -- all that wonderful subtext! Actually, I love all their scenes together. Or even the scenes where they're not together. Vera and Nestor, together or apart, are the reason I'm still watching this show. Bradley must go though. Had to restrain myself from fast forwarding through all her tedious scenes. May Norman kill her off next week and put that pit to good use.
  8. I've totally fallen for this series. Liked it from season one but am now totally hooked. And the writing of Romero's character along with the brilliantly understated way NC portrays him is a major part of why it's become such a delight. Terrific cast with writing that's been getting better and better. Exciting to see a good show transforming into a great one.
