  1. To a certain degree, Yes, LOL. I am sure they tried other ways to help Kim, she was in rehab at least 2 times before the show so I see Kyle getting Kim on this show as a desperate, last ditch effort to give Kim something to do other than drugs/alcohol. Having children wasn't enough to get/keep Kim clean/sober but maybe, just maybe, feeding her ego would do the trick. Of course it failed big time but I really believe Kyle thought it would help Kim.

I concur with this.  I can see Kyle thinking that if Kim had this high profile (relatively speaking, of course) job, she would have something to do, and reason to get/stay sober.

  2. Hysterical! She's got the wonky eye down pat.  Is this a throwback?  It goes to show that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Maybe the could update with a RichardsRules for sobriety.

    1) It doesn't count if the pills are prescribed to you.

    2) It doesn't count if the pills aren't prescribed to you but you have a really, good reason.

    3) Being seen drinking is very wrong; not being seen drinking is ok.

    4) If you are in so much pain that you should be seeing a physician but you would rather be doing something else, like going out to dinner with your family, then it is ok to self-medicate.

    5) Driving while drunk is ok if you are going to a safe place, like a bar.

    6) Drinking and drugging are ok if they are not used on a daily basis.

You've forgotten the most important parts, Rehoboth.   If no one knows what you go through at night!!, and have Kyle in your life (as everything is her fault).   Just wanted to help your post, as it was spot on!

  3. Avaleigh That's it! Thank you. Great memory.

Yes it did. It was a great moment because DP said it, and stupid Kim didn't even realize what he had said. She just heard the part where he "agreed" with her that she wasn't doped up during the show. LOL!!!

This was so hilarious!  He just finished insulting her, and she was so thrilled that he agreed/acknowledged she didn't drink during the season.  She's so happy she "won" the point, she missed the insult.  He said  "so you're just slurring, belligerent, and defensive normally" and she was nodding with a huge smile of satisfaction on her face.  Fucking hot mess.

  4. I am in 100% pain over my mistake.

(I was actually going to write it that way, but thought my snark was in overdrive. Anyone who watches Teen Mom knows about one of the moms who mispronounces practically every other word out of her mouth, with "textes" being a forum favorite.)

Phew!  I actually expected that you would have spelled it in Kimmie fashion, and when you didn't, I wondered if maybe you were in 100% pain.  That would explain it.  And, since you were posting at night,  we don't know what you go through during these hours.  If the pain persists, please have your lungs, ribs, hernia area?, discs, etc checked.  I would hate for you to be hospitalized for 5-7-8-9 days!  Maybe try crawling around on the floor, you might find a random tablet or rock to smoke.

  5. Then why did they throw it in a bonus episode, which are kind of throwaway scenes? (I loved the scene, too. Just speculating). My guess? They were saving the texts for a dramatic reveal at the reunion (hence Andy's "smoking gun" promo), which this scene would have hampered.

Allow me to correct this for you, LotusFlower.   It should read "they were saving the textses"  We are in Kimmie's world after all.   In the future, please try to be 100% goddamn accurate  <snark>

  6. So, I didn't watch this season at all. I stopped watching RHoBH a few seasons ago because I thought the cast was annoying. But, over in the RHoNY thread, people keep making comments about this season's RHoBH as if they're shell-shocked from the seriousness of it--and I can't tell if that means that it was a good season or a bad one! Anyone willing to give me a quick rundown of the highlights and/or lowlights? Is it worth going back and watching, or is it like, if you didn't like these housewives before, you really won't like them now?!

Totally worth it!   There were some awesome comedic gems this season.  House porn, beautiful travel destinations, and the additions of Eileen and Lisa R were such a nice balance.  Great season, imo

  7. Wondering why Kim hasn't had a statement yet.  From her lawyer at the very least.  I can imagine the strategy calls between Kim and her team -  You don't know what I go thru at night!  100% pain is now an understatement, goddamn it.  Drop it! I was in a holding cell for 5-7-9 hours like a low-life, don't they know who I am??   Kyle made me go there -  My son, Kingsley was at home alone....  The police are HORRIBLE...

  8. I have been watching this unfold and reading the comments non-stop it seems, for days.   I have not commented as I needed to get my thoughts in order first.   I just wanted to post regarding the  "vindication"  topic that has come up a few times.   Several posters have been much more eloquent than I will most likely be - but here we go.

I completely understand the vindicated feeling that some posters are talking about.  We knew something was going on, yet all we saw was denials, excuses, justifications, and more denials.  Those of us that have lived it knew she was no where near sober - let alone for 3 years.   I had a sister-in-law that struggled with prescription drug abuse for all of her adult life.  She put the family thru hell, and all tolerated it due to her 3 kids.  They didn't deserve the situation they were born into, so her bullshit was covered up, enabled, justified, etc.   I feel for Mauricio so much, because that was me.  The spouse that had to stand  by and watch their sister in law wreck havoc on the entire family, and help to financially support said family for the kids.   It caused many, many fights between my husband and I  over the years, but at the end of the day, guilt for those kids superseded all gut instincts to cut her off so she could hit rock bottom.  In the end, she died at 45 when her body quit on her due to years of substance abuse.

Kyle, if you read these boards, there is no easy answer/solution to the issue.   I can only pray that this is indeed her rock bottom and she seeks help.   You have the advantage that all of Kim's kids are adults now, so you can still be there for them without enabling Kim and her addict behavior any longer.  Please, cut the tie, as painful as it is, and let her make the decision to either get help, or suffer the consequences on her own.

Mods - I hope this wasn't too off topic - if so, please move to appropriate thread.

  9. I think at this point they will have to bring out contracts and cancelled checks to prove anything. I guess it would help if Kathy would weigh in, but I am not sure how much I trust her to be honest (this is based on nothing except the fact that I don't think I like her).

So Kim's daughter Brooke is an agent and works for Hilton and Hyland.  From what Kyle said last night, when Kyle called Kim to say they were listing the house, Kim asked if Brooke could have the listing and Kyle agreed it would be listed by Brooke and Farrah. This sounds like a great arrangement to me. These two young women are competitors, but also apparently close to each other. It seems like it was all above board and handled out in the open.  Funny how Kim started out by saying that Kyle didn't tell her about the house until it was already in escrow, but then a few minutes later acknowledged recommending Brooke get the listing. This woman is exhausting. I cannot imagine what it might be like to deal with her on a continual basis.

This.  I am exhausted just watching the nonsensical non-logic that Kim uses constantly.  She is extremely lucky that she still has Kyle in her life, cuz if I were her sister - fuck that noise!  I'd have been out years ago.  Mauricio is a saint for putting up with all of the bullshit for as long as he has, that just shows how much  he truly loves Kyle.

Speaking from quite a bit of experience with drug addicted in-laws (yes, plural), it is a living hell.  They always have drama, always need help/money, and everything is your fault in the end.   You cannot turn your back as it is your spouse's mom/sister etc.  If they don't want to walk away, you're stuck in a nightmare.

  10. Anyone else watch that clusterfuck that was titled a Reunion? Nat G had a boob job, that was apparent. Lots of screaming and yelling, and I believe I heard the term "rat" a time or two.... <scarcasm> Vivica A Fox was a terrible host, btw

  11. It took me until today to catch up on reading all of the pages just to post!  So very many of you are spot on!  I have enjoyed the snark much more than the episode itself.  For the love of all that keeps me sane... Can Kim cut me a fuckin break and take even a sliver of responsibility?  Like, even an iota?  No?  She is such an asshole fucktard, I just can't with her.  If you don't want to be judged on your addiction issues, perhaps you could try not to get high before being in the company of others ON.CAMERA.

  12. So much attempting to convince us that Legal Marriage means nothing to them - the only thing that matters is Spiritual Marriage.  Okaaaay, let's pretend I believe that bullshit for a moment.  Then why in the FUCK is everyone so unbelievably disturbed and distressed by the Legal Divorce??  If it really means nothing, I don't understand everyone being such an emotional wreck about it stil, more than SIX months after the fact?  Surrsslyyy?? Pronunciation courtesy of  Robyn.

  13. But thank god there are people who love the business or I wouldn't be watching the "Jaws" marathon right nor conversing with you about this red hot reality show mess.

Oh wow - I fell asleep watching Jaws 3 last night!  It was fun looking back on something that was so cutting edge in technology and is now looks ridiculously tacky.
