  1. Arrow writers are sometimes so all over the place that I never know what to expect, which can be both good and bad. In that spirit, how none of the myriad EP's, writers or the like can look at LL's story after Sara's death and realise that it's got a very 'Single White Female' vibe to it, I just don't know. She's stolen her name, her role as a 'hero', her place on TA and literally stepped into her costume, now she's bonding with her GF. Although if it's a choice between inflicting her on Nyssa, who I can honestly see her as having the mutual love and loss of Sara with and the forced propping by new BFF's FS and Diggle, then I'm sorry Nyssa, sacrifices must be made.
  2. Ah smiling, actual conversations how I've missed this
  3. I agree about the destruction of TA's bond as being among the worst casualties of this season but don't think it was sacrificed as a result of Olicity but rather because of the stupid identity theme which the EP's decided had to pervade every character and every issue this season. To be quite frank the decision to shoe horn the newbie heroes into the show did us no favours either. How can there be enough TA interaction to force a discussion about OQ's issues and to encourage him to get his head out of his ass, when FS always has to run off to prop RP or LL, who is always in the foundry (does she sleep there?) interrupting? I miss the days when Felicity and Dig would stop Oliver by any means necessary from making a stupid self sacrificing decision, including knocking him out to prevent him from handing himself over to Slade and certain death to save everyone else. With all the BTS pics of SA, EBR, DR, WH et al in a Nanda Prabat like setting, here's hoping they're working on re-introducing that much needed team dynamic into the show because honestly I don't know how much more sad lonely Oliver I can take.
  4. I saw an article where it was clarified that the Cisco LL interaction was during Joe and Cisco's crossover to the Arrow. As for why it was on the Flash promo, I got no idea but it makes about as much sense as anything else this season (Sorry, i'm sounding like such a Debbie Downer)
  5. The problem with this is you're using logic which, it seems, is a big no-no this season
  6. Simple because the need him to, there's a spin-off you know and the whole point of this ridiculous arc is to launch him as a 'hero'. In fact this whole season has been about shoe-horning newbie heroes into places they don't belong because comics!
  7. This is exactly the kind of nonsensical development that I was hoping that they'd avoid. In the middle of Oliver's major existential crisis, he's going to focus on Felicity's relationship with Ray to sway him one way or another as to whether he should become Ra's al ghul? Really? So what, had she not lunged at Ray, he would've said no? This season is driving me insane, nobody's motivations make any sense. I love these characters (save LL. was on the fence with her before this season but the blatant propping has driven me right into dislike territory) and don't expect them to be perfect but is it asking too much for their actions not to be driven by pure plot reasons?
